I had a very disappointing experience at this auto repair shop. After they worked on my car, I noticed that the fender clips were broken/missing. These clips were clearly removed or damaged while my car was there.
When I brought it to their attention, instead of taking responsibility or even checking the issue, they immediately denied touching that area. There was no effort to resolve the problem and not even a simple apology.
Accidents can happen, but the way they handled it was extremely unprofessional. Their customer service is awful. Do not waste your time bringing your car here.
I tried another place this year for convenience and quickly learned my lesson. They were overly nitpicky and issued a rejection sticker during my state vehicle inspection, so I went back to Mike for a second opinion. Because of liability tied to that sticker, he couldn’t pass the car, which I completely understand, but he still took the time to help and didn’t charge me. Mike is fair, honest, and professional — experiences like this are exactly why I always support small businesses.
Honest maintenance and repair services for our cars for the better part of 10 years. We moved out of the neighborhood 5 years ago but still go back for the service. Mike is the best!
The Worst auto shop. The man at the front counter was rude, cold, and acted like he hated dealing with anyone. He didn’t greet me, didn’t smile, and showed no courtesy at all. His attitude made the whole visit unpleasant before it even started. I’m glad I walked away without dealing with them. This place is a complete waste of time. Go anywhere else if you value respect, basic decency, and your sanity!
Worst customer service. Rude tone, rude facial expression. I’ll never recommend this place. I only went because it’s close to my house, but I’m never going back. His attitude ruined my whole day.
Very worse customer service, I went there 2 days for safety inspection, date : 07/29/2025 at 2 pm and talked inside person, he said we check 15 car per day, we will not do any car today, you have to come tomorrow before 12 pm. Then went there at 07/30/2025 on 10. 20 am then inside person he said we are full today we have to come before 8 am, it’s vary bad experience from them, waste my time, not recommended this place
While I haven't used their services very recently, I used to go to them semi-exclusively because they are conveniently located and allow for small services to be done quickly while you wait without making things up to add to a list of work to be done for your vehicle. I will say though that they have been making more people leave their vehicle and more busy where they want the vehicle for the entire day to allow enough wiggle room for their need to flex working on things. That has been too inconvenient for me as I usually have a tight timetable to get services done and my wife is often not available for following me there and back so that I can drop off my vehicle then get a ride to go later to pick it up.
Mike is the best. He provides excellent service, is HONEST, and always looks out for his customers. As long as I live in this area and Mike works at Gum Springs Auto Care, I will be a loyal customer.
Though I didn’t get my car repaired due to distance, the owner, Mike, was honest, helpful and kind. He diagnosed the problem quickly and provided solutions. His prices were fair given the area and I would recommend him to others in the area.
I've been taking my cars to these people for inspections, oil changes and repairs for almost two hears now. They are good mechanics and very honest. They will not push for any unnecessary repairs. Mike, the manager, is very knowlegable and great to deal with. Don't hesitate to call on them. You won't be disappointed.
We're visiting family and noticed a little leak under the car, so we brought it to Mike at Gum Spring Auto Care. Mike kept it simple and straightforward with his checkup. No excessive work or charges. Thanks Mike!
I had major work done on my car still had problems and broke down on road so had to tow it back to them still had problems and making lots noise in engine, finally had it fixed at another repair shop. Will give 0 star if I could.
UNBELIEVABLE! I went for an oil change and ended up with my car not working. What happened? I don't know and they don't know. What type of mechanics they have then? There was also a costumer before me complaining about a noise AFTER he took his car there.
These guys are very honest and I trust them to do the right thing.
We have a 4 year history with Mike and crew an mo complaints. Place is a hidden gem.
