The store is good and clean. Had my battery in stock. The young man who was in charge of changing my battery was not very present or careful. I noticed he left a large gap between where the old battery sat versus how he installed the new one. An older man came from inside the store, I pointed out the gap, and they redid the hold down. The young man dropped one of the hood insulation plastic clips into the depths and didn’t even try to find it. When I said he dropped it, he got defensive saying “I didn’t drop it, it fell”. I looked under the car and couldn’t find it. He ended up with an extra clip somehow, which makes me wonder what he didn’t clip down. I asked him where the red felt washer went which he had left out, then he said I didn’t need it and threw it away. I felt a general lack of care about the installation of my battery and the precision with which things were put back in place. It took about 45 minutes. I understand it takes time and practice to become experienced, and my car is old. But the employee’s nonchalant attitude, carelessness of making sure my battery was properly inserted, and inability to own up to his mistakes, made this a negative experience for me.

I had an excellent experience here last Saturday. The employee listened to my car issue and helped me fine the exact right cleaning product for my situation. She was very smart and understood immediately what I needed. Thanks to her advice, I was able to get the tree sap off my car without any damage to the paint. I genuinely appreciate her time and knowledge.

I came here to buy a new battery and have it installed, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The woman at the front desk told me they couldn’t install my battery due to “inclement weather,” even though the snow had already stopped and there was barely half an inch on the ground. I had to get a jump just to come here, expecting to purchase a battery and get it installed so I could go about my day. When I asked to speak to a manager, she claimed she was the manager. Instead of helping, she offered to jump my car “to get out of here,” which made no sense — if you’re willing to come outside to jump my car, why refuse to come outside to install the battery I was ready to buy? In the end, they turned away a paying customer over an excuse that didn’t add up. Really frustrating and unprofessional

I went to Advance Auto, and one of the customer service representatives, Lynn, helped me tremendously. She assisted me last week with a similar situation, but today she went above and beyond. I’m truly grateful that Advance Auto has such a professional and knowledgeable employee. As an Uber driver, getting the right parts quickly is important, and Lynn always makes the process easy with no hassle. She knows what she’s talking about, and I trust every recommendation she gives. I’ve been coming to Advance Auto for years and have never left disappointed, but Lynn is the reason I’ll keep coming back. She is a true asset to the company — a real diamond. My son's car battery died on Saturday afternoon and after AAA jump started the car, we headed over to Advance Auto for a new battery. Within minutes, one of the staff helped us select a new and reasonably priced battery, and then installed the battery in record time. Hats off to Advance Auto for their prompt and courteous service, and professionalism. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience.

Two stars because the store are good and everything else, but I was at line and the guy with long hair was playing music loudly and came a couple and he quickly jumps to helps them and what about me? Needs to be “light skin” to get nice customer service? Needs to be trained to helps equity. And he gets upset when I say “I was here before them and you didn’t pay me attention”

Called in yesterday for a specific part and was told that they have it available. Called in today before heading over, to confirm if I can still come to pick it up, and the kid who answered the phone answers with “hello?”. This is a business, not your personal phone. He then proceeds to tell me that they don’t have that part available at all. How is that possible if he confirmed that they have a lot in stock less than 24 hours prior?. On top of that, he puts me on a brief hold and then hangs up on me. Overall, he just seemed lost as I had to repeat myself to him about 4x’s over the phone. Avoid this location

Only place that had my car battery in stock and could install it (I tried 2 other places in Germantown first). Super impressed by the woman who was working (Fernanda, according to my receipt)! She was helping 3 clients at the same time, in two different languages, when I walked in and still got my battery installed ASAP!

Huge shoutout to Darwin T. for helping me with my wiper blades. He gave me a list of options and gave good advice on which brand to choose. He even helped me figure out how to install them and replace a part when I broke one.

I had an amazing experience at Advance Auto Parts on New Year’s Day. My car was running low on coolant, and I was unsure what to do. The manager went above and beyond to help me out. Not only did they assess the situation and help me find the correct coolant, but they also took the time to put it in my car. Thanks to their kindness and professionalism, I was able to get to where I needed to be on time. I’m so grateful for their assistance—great service, especially on a holiday!

Went to pick up an online order and the counter guy i think he's name is, Hamed? Was very nice, ended up buying an AGM battery for my car. The guy installing it was very professional and efficient with the installation. I've been to many autoparts and most are miserable, here, was a different experience. Advance, tread employees well so they don't leave and we end up with miserable ones.

I had gone to the MVA around the corner to transfer plates to a new car only to find out that I needed to get completely new ones. I didn't have any tools with me to make the switch but thought maybe I could get help at a local auto parts store. I had NO idea that I would be treated so kindly. I was willing to purchase a tool to make the change but the one I would've needed wasn't in stock. Jayden and Matthew used one of the stores tools and changed my plates for me so I could return my old ones without having to drive all the way back home. I was so grateful for their kindness and their help. With this level of customer service, I will definitely be back!

It's a breath of fresh air to get great customer service these days. Candice help me with redeeming my coupons. She went out of her way because the app wasn't letting me combine them for purchase. She did it all with a good attitude and smile. Value an employee like her, they don't come around often.

I got a few brake pads from this place and was treated with respect and attention from Jaden. He gave me advice on the tools I needed for a DIY brake job and also a contact for if I wanted it done professionally. There was a little hiccup however, I got home and realized that the brake pads given to me were the wrong ones per his request. When I called Jaden picked up the phone and after bringing it to his attention he was very courteous and remorseful insisting to alleviate the mistake. A lot of time was wasted between me realizing the mistake and actually getting it solved but overall I was able to get the correct part. I think a rebate would have given me some satisfaction but I’m not sure customer satisfaction is one of their values as a company.

The staff here is amazing! They are attentive and answer your questions professionally. I appreciate that day in and day out they remain consistent. I've come here for many things including: car wash stuff, special type and brand of oil (Porsche and AMG) and always and always they have gone the extra mile to assist.

Always meet my expectations. Valuable source for DIYers. Staff is always attentive and helpful. They can get busy at times so one would have to wait for their turn for a bit, but that's a general issue with small stores where they dont keep nore than 2-3 staff members on site.

I've been there for many years, this year was a bit disappointing. I had a wind shield wiper that needed to be replaced, and I got a cheaper quality one. The woman who worked there was better, she gave me the better one (because it needs to match the other side) and free installation.

Really nice staff. Great selection. I went in recently to get a battery tested and lady at the counter did everything to help me out finding my information in the system. We could not do it then and today I went in with my newly found order number and Candice solved my issue in a matter of seconds. Thanks!

When I placed the order to buy the battery on shop.advanceautoparts.com, it showed "FREE INSTALLATION & TESTING". But when I was there, they didn't provide the service. Come on, can you tell me eariler or not cheating me, I can bring my toolbox to change it faster under the shining hot sun.

This is a very good advance auto parts location. The customer service is always above and beyond what one would expect. Everybody that works there is very helpful and very knowledgeable. They have a great inventory and, from what I can tell, as competitive of a pricing structure as anybody in the business. This is a great auto parts store that I could not recommend any more highly.
