I had an oil change and new wipers put on my 2018 Toyota Camry. I waited while the work was done. Shawn said it would take an hour and that’s how long it took. I trust Shawn and that’s a very vital part of where you take your car. Their prices are also much better than taking the car to the dealership after the car warranty is up.

I brought in my 1989 Camry for some general maintenance and diagnostics, and I found Ahmed to be a very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable technician. Ahmed was very transparent about the service prices and his opinions, and if I had any questions he took the time to explain the whys and hows in detail. I would genuinely recommend this establishment to anybody with an older vehicle.
We dropped our car off after hitting something in the roadway the night before. They found a problem and fix a couple of others at the same time reducing the labor costs. We appreciated the prompt, efficient, and economical service.
Had to come back 3 Times for the same issue. Was told that it was something else that was causing the same issue so I was charged each time. Unfriendly customer service. Do Not recommend this company.

Once again, Precision Auto Tune in Montgomery Village exceeded my expectations. I've taken my car to other repair shops, but the service at Montgomery Village's Precision Auto Tune has been unmatched. Their prices are reasonable, and the mechanics are friendly and consistently attentive.
The small team at this Montgomery Village repair shop have handled several jobs—from simple (oil change) to complex (restoring a broken cooling/heating system)—to keep my 2009 Honda CRV on the road. The hands-on manager has set expectations clearly up front and communicated clearly as the work proceeded. A great choice to service your car without falling into the pricey doom loop of a dealership service center!

Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. I brought my car in for a simple repair, and not only did they NOT fix the issue, but they made things worse. When I picked up my car, it was running rough, making weird noises, and the original problem was still there.
I dealt with Shawn, and let me tell you — he is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered in customer service. Condescending, evasive, and completely unwilling to take accountability. When I questioned the charges and the poor job, he acted like I was bothering him.
This place is a complete waste of time and money. Save yourself the stress and go to someone who actually knows what they’re doing. DO NOT TRUST SHAWN OR THIS SHOP WITH YOUR VEHICLE.

I’m writing this to help someone else avoid the nightmare I went through. Took my car here thinking it would be a quick and easy fix. BIG mistake. Not only did they fail to fix the issue, but they actually made things worse. My car was running fine before — now it’s making noises and flashing warning lights I’ve never seen before.
Shawn was the one I dealt with, and he was incredibly rude and unhelpful. He talked down to me, gave zero explanation for the outrageous bill, and basically told me to deal with it when I brought up the new problems.
This shop is untrustworthy, careless, and completely unprofessional. I wouldn’t let these people touch a lawnmower. Please, don’t waste your time or money here — you’ll regret it.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is a complete joke. I took my car in for a basic service and it came back in worse condition than before. Not only did they fail to fix the original issue, but now I have even more problems — my check engine light came on the same day I picked it up.
The person I dealt with, Shawn, was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was wasting his time. He gave me vague answers, overcharged me, and refused to take any responsibility for the mess they caused. His attitude was unprofessional from start to finish.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. I wouldn’t trust Shawn or this shop with a scooter, let alone a car. You’ve been warned — steer clear.

As a gay man, I have never felt more disrespected at a place of business. From the moment I walked in, the way the staff spoke to me was condescending, dismissive, and clearly rooted in bias. I did not feel welcome, I did not feel appreciated, and I absolutely felt discriminated against simply for being myself. No one should have to experience that kind of treatment—especially when you’re just trying to get your car serviced. I will never return and I strongly advise others to think twice before supporting a business that treats people this way.

It’s clear that either nothing was fixed or it was made worse. I would never return to this place and strongly urge others to stay away. Shawn was very helpful, fair, and considerate. I dropped my car off convinced it had a lot of problems, and he (patiently) assured me that nothing was wrong. He let me know what maintenance may need to be done in the next few months without any pressure of getting it fixed there or immediately. I will definitely be likely to come back here.

Best tire patch experience ever. I picked up a nail while in transit and noticed my psi decreasing rather quickly. Called 5 places in the area, none of which could take a look immediately and randomly drove past Precision and made a u-turn. They took my car and fixed it in less than 30 minutes and topped off my other tires.. I was so happy with the service.
I recently had an exceptional experience at Precision Tune Auto care, Montgomery Village, MD location, thanks to the outstanding service provided by the receptionist/mechanic, Shawn. As a hearing-impaired customer, I was particularly impressed by how he took the time to communicate with me effectively by writing back and forth to answer all my questions thoroughly. Also, knowing that I had already spent over two hours at another tire shop getting my tires replaced, he made sure I didn’t have to wait long for my service. Although the work was expected to take an hour and half he completed it in just 45 minutes.
He also noticed that the previous shop I visited for an oil change had mistakenly recorded the mileage in kilometers instead of miles, which messed up my Carfax record. He explained how I could get this corrected and gave me his card, suggesting that I ask the previous shop to call him directly so he could explain the necessary steps to fix the mistake.
He truly went above and beyond to provide excellent service.
I highly recommend this shop for their exceptional attention to detail and customer care.
was forced to take my car here after a flat tire, but was positively surprised at how well they were able to diagnose other issues (ones my main mechanic missed), and they had a good price for replacing my tires. No complaints, good service, very direct about pricing and when I came to pick up I was in and out.
Yesterday, I went to Precision Auto thinking that I could trust anyone other than Shaun. The request was to replace two head light bulbs which I supplied myself. Now, my directions were so clear that even a 5 year old could have followed them. Adam at the desk was told that the light was out only on the left side of my vehicle, but I wanted the right one changed also so that both would be the same. The bulbs that I brought to the shop cost me about $34.00 and Precision was charging me $60 to put them in. These new bulbs called Headlight-Xtra Vision were to give me wider range down the road. When I came home from work I really thought nothing of it, got some rest and almost forgot to test my lights out. Well, when I turned on my lights I realized that they changed the wrong bulbs because I now had two out instead of one. So, I decided take my vehicle on the darkest road in Gaithersburg where there were not light to see if there was a difference and nothing had changed at all! Not one thing was different. Questions were not running through my head, did they really change the bulbs or use the ones that I gave them? Did they really think I or my husband wouldn't notice the difference? Did this happen because as a woman just maybe they thought I didn't know better? What happened to the bulbs that I gave them? And, where are the original working bulbs that were taken from my vehicle? How was it not obvious to tell which bulbs were not working by just turning them on? And, if they had turned them on before doing them why didn't they know which ones to change? I left a message yesterday wanted to speak with Shaun only! Not trusting that I will be there as soon as they open up! 12/3/19

FOLLOW UP!
When this all took place I spoke with Shaun he seemed to be very supported and we BOTH decided that I would bring my SUV back to the shop today which is Monday, 12/9/19. Well, I was running late and decided to call him. I asked him how long would it take and with a not so pleasant voice he said "a long time!" I said " I thought we made an appointment" with his NASTY SELF! He a said "WE DON'T MAKE APPOINTMENT!" I could tell that the conversation wasn't going well because of the TONE in His Voice. During this point I decided to tell him that it was okay because I wasn't going to argue with him about a SIMPLE MISTAKE THAT THEY MADE. He then told me not to bring my SUV in and HUNG UP THE PHONE!. They didn't take the steps that they needed to complete the job right or correctly. He is the proof! Precision Tune Auto Care not only did they not do the job right here is why: First, I brought them two New bulbs that had MORE DOWNROAD VISIBILITY. Second, I took my SUV down a road without lights and notice that the right headlight was much brighter then the left one, Third, called back to Precision to tell them what I had noticed and requested old bulbs that were taken out, Fourth, next day picked up the So Called Old Bulbs and realized that they were two different ones. Fifth, the bulbs came with a Red Rubber Ring around them but the two that they gave me back, one black and the other red. They messed up and now I have to fight for that $60.00 service that was NOT properly rendered to me as a CUSTOMER! Auto Mechanics already have a bad reputation. Why not make things right. Co-Worker recommended this shop. THEY WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE MONEY FROM ME AND I WILL SPREAD MY EXPERIENCE!
