They tried to tow my car.All four wheels of my car are still on the ground. I tried to move my car.He yelled at me, demanding to see my vehicle registration card, driver's license, and credit card before letting me leave. When I checked my credit card, I found I'd been charged $170 .Isn't this fraud?

Fast service! Went above and beyond would highly recommend for all your towing needs.

Very rude individual working the tow. I have a parking pass that I use all the time and I live in my neighborhood. The parking pass I guess fell. I don’t know it was in my car. I was just trying to explain to him and talk to him. He was very dismissive very rude. I understand that you guys have a job to do but at the end of the day you come in my neighborhood you take cars I know those are just the regulation, but we have parking passes up almost every day If we don’t have space in our designated parking spot. Just wanted to ask about it. I don’t know if he has trauma with people trying to fight him or argue with him. But cutting me off Being dismissive on top of the fact that you already took my property like this is just my experience for anybody who’s gonna come to this spot just know the individuals working there are not the Nicest people

Its a towing company, they have 2 main dutys: uphold neighborhood standards and recovering broken down vehicles. I hear the best about them when they recover and have experienced being towed twice by them due to my own negligence. The operators are friendly but a little unorganized as i have waited hours for my car to be released. They are strit enforcers but fair IMO

Best towing company in Montgomery county hands down great friendly people that work there and very helpful. Best towing experience I ever had I highly recommend them to everyone who needs towing services. If I ever need a tow I know who to call.

Attempted to tow my car from my driveway due to saying I was blocking the sidewalk on a cul-de-sac. Predatory tactics. Charged me $170. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and unethical. SCAMMERS.

This is a fraudulent company of scammers--BEWARE! After hawking around an empty restaurant parking lot, they hooked up our vehicle after just a few minutes of stopping there temporarily, and demanded cash or Zelle payment to release the car. No receipt, no police report. The county regulation allows for a $25 charge for incomplete towing (i.e. you show up while they are hooking up the car)--they charged $170 and threatened with a $450 fine if not paying on the spot. This is in violation of a number of regulations. They have been reported multiple times and had a legal case against them. Avoid this company!

Absolutely the worst experience with a towing company ever. Unprofessional, predatory, awful people to work with with zero accountability.

Yesterday my car was fairly towed; I forgot to move it out of the visitor spot. their web page was down, so I didn't know how to pick it up, but according to Google they are open 24/7. What Google doesn't say, and is only visible in the smallest print on their sign, is that they are open 24/7 by appointment only. When I arrived, I didn't know an appointment was necessary. I called and asked to pay the $170 as soon a possible. I had to Uber there and had no shelter or seating outside in the 38 degree weather. The person who received the call had to put me on hold to speak with someone else, and I was eventually told they would meet me there in 30 minutes. After 45 minutes, I called again and was told it would be 7 more minutes. I ended up waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes. I'm unhappy with this company not because of the original tow, but because of the poor service. I would have made different plans and wouldn't have wasted my time if I was told correctly about the timing of the appointment that they couldn't keep.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life with this company. After spending the entire night moving out of my Arlington, VA apartment to prepare for a long cross-country drive to start a new job in Arizona, I parked near my mother’s home around 1:00 AM just to get a few hours of rest. By 1:40 AM, Miller’s Towing had already towed my car — with my trailer attached. They clearly have spotters or employees lurking around waiting to take advantage of people. It felt like a setup. When I arrived at their lot around 5 AM, exhausted and stressed, I was told I owed $340 total — $170 for the car and $170 for the trailer. I tried to explain the situation and asked for any kind of compassion or partial adjustment. They wouldn’t budge. The person I dealt with, “Casper,” was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He may even been intoxicated in the work place. He refused to accept a credit card, forcing me to scramble for cash. When I tried to calmly discuss the situation, he threatened to kick me off the lot, which led me to call the police for my own protection. They also lied and told me the “boss was out of the country,” clearly just to avoid accountability. This company operates with zero empathy, shady business practices, and predatory towing tactics. The lack of basic professionalism or humanity is unbelievable. If you value your sanity, your time, and your hard-earned money, avoid Miller’s Towing & Recovery at all costs.

This is a fraudulent company. They towed my car from my apartment complex because it hadn't moved in 4 days (because I was away). They decided to deem my car as abandoned. It cost me $170 to get my car (same day). I am currently taking legal action.

Went into Manny and Olga's for less than 45 seconds with my car still running outside. Came back out and and this sleazy person working for this company had my car on the hook. That kind of dishonestly says alot about a company as a whole. Do better!!!

They towed my vehicle because I didn't have a permit. Which is my fault, I broke the rules, because everywhere these days u have to have a permit to park on the property, even if you live there or just visiting. I paid for my vehicle and got it back and didn't cry when I was caught breaking the rules like most of you who posted a bad review blaming others for your mistakes. own up to your mistakes and move on. If your rude you will get rude. But they were nice to me because I was nice to them lol

This happened on Saturday night. I went to a friend's house and returned to my car after 5 minutes and the tow truck was going to lift it and I told him it's my car and the truck driver told me that I have to pay him $170 why I have to pay you when my car is not on your tow truck.

Money hungry, They post a tow truck at the shopping plaza in wheaton at night. Went in Olgas pizza for 5 minutes and when I came out a dirty looking guy was already towing my car. Charged me $50 to drop it and when I asked for the receipt he got mad and rude.

I had just renewed my cars registration… I put the new sticker in the glove compartment to do it in the morning since my complex has low lights outside…. I wake up this morning and my car is towed… I explain to the owner I have the new sticker in my glove box and I was going to put it on… they’re not understanding at all!! When I get to the lot… the employee who drives the truck is cussing, lost his keys, asks to use my phone to try to use the flashlight and get in his truck… I do this out of the kindness of my heart to help… but obviously I don’t get this kindness back and they still charge me $170!!! I even show proof my sticker is here and everything and STILL WANTS TO CHARGE ME $170!!. These guys are Absolutley terrible.

This company is known for their unethical towing practices! I was parked in my apartment lot designated handicap spot, I've parked in this spot off and on for the past 3 years with my placard. I simply forgot to hang the placard...they towed my car at 6 a.m. Charging me $176.80 to retrieve my car while wearing a boot was very inconvenient and unnecessary!! The owner showed no compassion, either. I filed a consumer complaint and might file a small claim to make a point. So unnecessary?

This company is horrible and does illegal towing. They towed my vehicle from apartment complex where my car is registered in another state and I renewed my registration on time and still waiting on tags to come in the mail. Did not run plates , car was not abandoned, and tags still within 30 days from expiration. Very rude, unprofessional, unapologetic for their illegal towing practices and scheme to make money. Was completely in the wrong based on MD DMV law and the State where my car is currently registered.

My car was towed last weekend from my apartment complex because my registration was expired. When I picked it up, I was told by the tow man that he would give me three months to fix my registration issue before it would get towed again. As a customer, I trusted what the Miller's Towing employee told me. Six days later, my car was towed again. I called Miller's Towing immediately and Oswaldo, who identified himself as being the manager, answered the phone. I tried to explain the situation to Oswaldo and since he was the manager, I asked if there was anything he could do since his employee had given me false information. I explained to Oswaldo as a result of the information I was given, I trusted that I had time to fix my registration issue (I had plans to go to the MVA over the weekend). Oswaldo responded by telling me that there was nothing he could do and that if I had a problem then I needed to take it up with his employee (the tow man). I found his response to be very unprofessional. As a manager, it is my understanding that it is in a manager's job description to speak to their employees about the information they are providing to customers. I asked to speak to Oswaldo's boss, and he proceeded to tell me that he is not the manager, but he is now the owner of Miller's Towing. I don't believe that he is the owner because I can't imagine an owner of a company responding to their customer the way that he did. I asked him why he wouldn't speak to his employee about the information they provided to me, and he responded by saying "do you know how many people come to me with stories about our tow truckers" ... so he implied that I was a liar. Ultimately, it's my responsibility to take care of my registration issue but I think it's unfortunate that there are people in companies that mislead, and people that are put in leadership positions that have no professionalism and have no business being in a leadership position.

Its disappointing when companies like this steal from their customers vehicles. I left my car parked for a few hours over night in my apartment complex knowing it was risk where i had left my car, i just couldnt find anymore parking, it was late and I was tired. I intentionally left my headphones in the car out of sight in the center console knowing i would be back early in the morning for work. After picking up my car from the lot the first thing i checked for were my headphones (i always wear them) and they were gone. i do not misplace these things. I asked the representative to give them back and he denied it entirely. Its a shame to take advantage of people and their belongings in such a way. Ill be reporting this to my apartment complex and petitioning for a different company to provide services

I lost the keys to my Porsche and needed to get it towed to my dealership. The towing company used by Porsche Roadside Assistance was not up to the task - not only did the driver block the entire street, he also hit my door against the meta planter box perimeter on the sidewalk. He also said since I couldn't put the car in neutral, he had to way to tow the vehicle. Thankfully, Felipe from Miller's Towing & Recovery somehow got my vehicle with a PDK transmission, that was wedged very closely in-between two other cars, out of the streets of downtown DC at nearly midnight. The owner also answered my midnight phone calls, which eased my nerves as I stressed about my car being unlocked in downtown DC with no solution in sight. I truly cannot say enough about the expertise, professionalism, and dedication I experienced by Miller's Towing & Recovery. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but it was imperative I do so for them. Hopefully I won't need a towing service in the future - but if I do, there is absolutely no doubt in the fact that my first call would be to Osvaldo, Felipe, and the staff at Miller's Towing & Recovery.

I have never felt more inconvenience in my life! My friends car was towed because I forgot at midnight they normally begin to tow so her being towed wasn’t truly the problem. The problem was my apartment complex has signs for a towing company who no longer tows there. The company gave me the nonemergency number which led us to Miller’s. We called the “24 hour business” over 8 times (no exaggeration) for no one to answer. The website is nonexistent and nor is the address associated with the company. My friend and I ended up at someone’s house with a Miller’s truck in their driveway which was the wrong location. After calling an additional 3 times someone answers who sounds like he is partying because it was crazy loud to tell us the location of her car. The car was towed a little after midnight we did not locate the car until 3 am where she had to drive home an additional hour. If you are going to state you are 24 hours it shouldn’t take someone over 2 hours and 12+ calls to get ahold of someone. Also, update your address the company seems sketchy if you can’t locate it.

They came quickly to give me a tow from Germantown, MD to Lancaster, PA (120 miles). The driver was friendly but also double charged me by accident. I called the towing company and my refund was issued quickly and without hassle.

5.0 star rating Car was stranded during morning commute. They showed up in the time quoted and had my car at my mechanics in no time. I was able to make it on time to work and even recieved confirmation once my car was dropped off. Thanks to Javier's professionalism throughout the process my morning was saved from being a disaster. Will recommend to others

Life savers! We had been in an accident at early hours of the morning. Their driver was on the opposite side of the highway and stopped to ask if we needed help. We had been waiting on a tow truck from Allstate (which never came) and another we had called for good measure in the area but was 30mins out. On the spot have us a great deal and towed us an entire 30miles without issue. They were lifesavers! We had to take someone to the hospital but officers told us we couldn’t seek medical help until the car was towed. If he had not stopped to help we would’ve been stuck for likely another 2hrs.

Wow — what can I say? They’re prompt when it comes to service and let me also add, inexpensive! I have been in the automotive industry for almost two years now and normally towing takes hours to arrive. I will definitely be referring all my guests here who are in need of tow. Keep up the good work Miller Towing, you guys are changing the game!

The man that towed my sister's car from Laugh out Loud in Greenbelt was very polite. Extremely helpful not only yesterday by towing the car but today by helping my sister find it this morning at the Kia lot. Just a quick call. Awesome assistance. Very much appreciated. Also being bilingual helps tremendously.

The best prices, the best service. He really goes above and beyond and is SUCH a warm and friendly person. I called three other towing services in the Silver Spring area looking for someone to tow my car and he was so helpful and patient with me on the phone. He even waited with my car during the service. Just a really helpful, professional service.

I needed a tow truck so I called Millers and got and answer right away. They are quick and inexpensive. The guy is friendly and know what he is doing. Best experience with tow truck drivers. If you ever need a tow truck call them up. They go from unlocking your car to even help you replace your car tire.
