The Advance Auto Parts store at Muddy Branch is always fully stocked with anything and everything you need for your vehicle. They look up an item you need quickly and either install it or sell it to you in a matter of minutes. I'm glad they are at this location. The sales people are the most courteous and respectful people.

This store saved me during the freezing winter; I was able to find everything I needed for my car, like windshield washer fluid, etc.

Came in for a battery replacement that I had called about in advance. In the freezing cold with the wind whipping, Hamed had it installed, even making a minor adjustment for a secure fit, in less than 15 minutes. I appreciate Hamed's great customer service!

My light was out and Hamed the store manager was so helpful!!! Under 10 minutes he replaced the light. Highly recommend him and this store!!

I had to buy 1 quart of synthetic engine oil for my car and they kindly searched and found the one I need so I was able to take care of an urgent issue on my way home!

My car was out of coolant and my check engine light came on. Luckily, I happened to be close to the automotive store. Hamed, the store manager went above and beyond to help me. I greatly appreciate it! Customer service was 10/10.

Worked with Brian on to change out my car battery. He was very knowledgeable and patient with answering all my questions. Also suggested that I disconnect the battery terminal if I don’t drive the car for a long period of time to prevent the battery from draining again.

While driving from Williamsburg, VA to Pittsburgh, PA on Easter, our car started periodically losing power. We were able to get it to the parking lot of this Advanced Auto Parts with about a half hour before they closed (on Easter!). The young man working here came out with a battery tester to help us, but, upon popping the hood, he diagnosed a different problem. The battery's negative terminal was not connected properly, and the battery was not secured. While we stood around in our Easter brunch clothes, he fetched a screwdriver and completely fixed the problem! He saved the day! What great service!

I went today on 2/22/2025 to buy oil and an oil filter, the service is always good... but this time the [Amed or Hamed] manager of the store followed me to my car asking about who had served me, accusing me that I had stolen the filter and the oil, I showed him the receipt and he left without apologizing or anything. It gave me a hard time, I think I won't buy from this store again.

Needed a battery for my key fob and Ana gave phenomenal customer service. She helped me find the battery I needed and she even replaced the battery in my fob for me. Amazing.

Clean new store which seems well run. Definitely recommend it. Sometimes not well staffed at front counter especially if a counter person is checking things in the back...the checkout line can get long. This isn't just this store these days but the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Overall a great place

Thrilled to have a car parts store in the neighborhood. We really needed one. The guys who run the store are friendly and helpful. They open early for us weekend mechanics. I saw Marco install wiper blades for a customer.

I'm the sole technician for a large fleet of small buses, that being said I've been to almost every advanced in Montgomery county multiple times. Today was my first experience at this muddy branch location. Marco was the individual who helped me today , he will be the reason I start coming to this location first. He has an extremely professional demeanor, was fast and knowledgeable. We need more people like Marco running these stores! Thank you!

I was inside advance auto parts and got helped by Raquel Z. She was very helpful and nice with her service. For how businesses is ran there’s no other place with such good customer service

I am here with Raquel. I accidentally pressed for the recipt to be sent to me by email only but noticed that I need a copy for my taxes. She did not want to print me a receipt. Instead she got really rude and said she can print me a paper but not a receipt. I then wanted to get a refund so that I can go through the whole transaction again so I can get a receipt. She then continued to tell me that I would not be able to use the $10 off coupon if I chose to do that. She has a computer in front of her but it doesn't make sense that she can't print a receipt. I hope this goes to the corporate office and she is taught how to use her computer. I guess I will be shopping at Autozone instead from now on!

A brand new Advance Auto Parts has opened in Gaithersburg. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and are ready to help you get the parts and supplies that you need to get the job done right the first time.
