Very professional when getting my estimate Explained everything was going to be done. Great price. Excellent job done. My car was given back nice and clean. Very thrusting place. Excellent! I’ve used the service twice and have been very satisfied. I got 73k mile check up and was pleasantly surprised that that the cost was way less than going to Lexus dealer. Intend to use D&G for all services. Very trustworthy.

I started coming to DG since 2017 and this shop has not only resolved major issues with engine, fly wheel, and transmission but with detailed resolution. I have been so pleased with the service at DG, I now drive 1 1/2 to get service done.

I first brought a car to DG Auto Body & Repair in 2024 after my mechanic recommended Fernando for auto body repair. The work to fix our Hyundai was done precisely and clean. Fernando was great about staying in touch with me to let me know how long the project would take - especially when that needed to change because of parts availability.

Fernando is fantastic! I live with my mother and I with no family in Maryland. It is absolutely reassuring, that I can call Fernando any time I have a problem with my car. This morning, I woke up, planning to go to work and found my car with a flat tire in my garage. I called Fernando and he told me bring the car right over to his shop and he can fix it. Unlike other autoshops he's not there to upsell you on anything and gives you exactly what you need. I also thought I was missing a spare tire, and Fernando said he could order a spare tire for me. But just to be safe he said he wanted to make sure I'm really not missing a spare tire. We didn't realize the spare tire was hidden behind the plastic cover but Fernando was able to confirm that I had a spare tire so I didn't need to spend any money on things I didn't need. DG Auto does really good honest business, which is really hard to find now-a-days. And they are extremely well priced and have great service! As a person with no knowledge of how the car works, and what goes on in an autoshop when things are being fixed, it's so nice to know that you can talk to someone who really looks out for the longevity of your car and also gives you advice on what to watch out for. I can't thank Fernando enough, and I'm so glad to know that I can call DG Auto any time I have a car issue.

Excellent customer service and even better physical service. Shout out to Chris for making this stressful time smooth and easy and the most important part- affordable. Places I went to charged me way more than him and I couldn’t thank him enough for the work they did on my car. Chris walked me through everything and didn’t judge that I knew almost nothing about cars and treated me like an adult. Fernando has been taking care of my Lexus since 2010. He has kept it running so well that I want to keep it but the interior looked worn. He replaced the dashboard and the arm rest. It looks like a new car. I only trust Fernando to take care of my car.

Fernando is an absolute gentleman, a wonderful business man, and even better mechanic. He is honest, a pleasure to work with, and he sure knows how to build a car. Me and my grandfather Ron was in the market for a car for me, luckily enough we came across Fernando's shop on CarGurus. We found Fernando's 2012 Chrysler 300s for sale, had 90K miles on the body and a gorgeous 26K Odometer Engine swapped 5.7L Hemi out of a 2015 Police Charger. The swap is seamless, runs perfectly. The body is in beautiful shape and practically looked brand new upon delivery even after 90K miles. The car was fully loaded with every bell and whistle, with an even added adaptive cruise control Fernando put in himself. Not to mention the $1200 Borla S-Type full exhaust system that sounds absolutely beautiful with the big V8, I thought it was a Benz AMG the first time I heard it, it popped and cracked just like german engineering, but you turn around and its just good ol' American muscle. Fernando was a fabulous communicator, great on the phone, and even face-timed us to give full display of the car before any sort of payment. My grandfather, being the skeptical man he is, thought maybe it was too good to be true, so Fernando even gave us the number of a man he sold another car to just to get another good opinion. After that though, he was convinced. We paid for the car and Fernando had it delivered from Maryland to Detroit by the end of the week. Delivery of the car was perfect, everything ran great, and I'll be having a lot of fun this summer! Will absolutely call Fernando if im ever in the market for another car. 100% Recommend. Thank you! Not to mention he's a very handsome and put together guy, just as put together as his shop!

We found D&G Auto Repair based on the good reviews, and they were all right. Fernando diagnosed the issue with our heat/air quickly and stayed late that night to complete the labor-intensive replacement of our servo motor, which requires disassembling the dashboard to access it. His effort meant we could pick the car up the next morning. Very happy with his professionalism, expertise, and service.

I have to say everyone is correct, the owner is very detailed and walked me through each repair and explained the issues . Hands down the most honest , thorough shop I have been to in the local area. First time visiting D&G Auto Repair. I choose D&G Auto repair based on other customer's experience. The reviews that I had read were spot on! Fernando is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I requested Fernando to install a Catback Borla exhaust system. Before the install, Fernando found an oil leak that needed to be addressed. Fernando suggested I take it to the dealer since my vehicle is new. Fernando then proceeded to continue installing my aftermarket exhaust. He promised a time that the work would be completed by and even beat his estimated time. Fernando went far and beyond. Would recommend Fernando and his shop to anyone!

Fernando is a very honest and skilled mechanic, along with being a very kind and respectful person. At first I was unsure of the work that needed to be done on my car, so Fernando put it up on a lift and showed me each and every part of the work that needed to be done. Along with a very generous price, the work was completed promptly and professionally. My car feels and drives like it is brand new. My daughter's 2012 Ford Focus had a brake fluid warning light. In the interest of convenience, we took it to a nearby dealership. In addition to recommending new rotors and brakes on all four corners, they immediately warned that all fluids/filters should be changed as well as a myriad of other maintenance items. Even though D&G Auto Repair is quite a way from our home, I trust Fernando and took it to him for a second opinion. He confirmed that some of the work was needed and that some of it was not needed (including tire replacement). More importantly, he diagnosed damage and/or outright failure on all four shocks that the dealership had missed (he provided photos for me). The final bill was not cheap but it was fair and I had confidence that the necessary repairs had been completed correctly. My daughter learned a lesson about the cost of "deferred maintenance" and I was reminded again that competence and trust are more important than convenience. Fernando has worked on 3 of our family vehicles over the years and I will continue to trust him when we need service. On top of everything else, he is very friendly and honest and a true joy to work with. I genuinely enjoy seeing him at each visit. D&G has helped me keep my cherished 14- yo BMW running in good shape. Unfortunately, the last year a lot of wear & tear had caught up with the car, and I experienced some critical situations. Fernando was always available to take my call and to rapidly diagnose the issues when I brought it in to him. So far, the work has been top rate. His estimates are reliable. If you can't do every maintenance repair at once, he will help you prioritize. Take a look at the shop. It is the neatest & cleanest you will ever see, which says something about the attention to detail you will receive here. Highly recommended.

We've been going to D&G for a long time now. We wanted someone who specialized in the Lexus, but could also service other cars as well in case we needed it. Fernando has kept our 2003 Lexus SUV running smoothly and most importantly has made sure it's safe. We know it's an old car and Fernando is kind, honest and he is thorough with his check ups. We might not always like what he tells us (as I said, this is an old car), but he also lets us know what's important now versus what can wait. He never pushes us. Fernando has been rebuilding my 20 year young BMW 740i since 2011. There is nothing he hasn’t touched on this car. It runs and rides like a dream. His shop is immaculate, as is he.
