From the very beginning, Branham was caring, compassionate, and professional. Any time we had questions, he took the time to answer them thoroughly and made sure we always understood each step. His knowledge and calm presence brought us so much comfort during such a difficult time. Whenever we needed him, he was there — checking on our family, offering support, and ensuring every detail was handled with care. After the service, he even took the time to personally greet and shake hands with our loved one’s family, which meant so much to us. He is truly a man with a heart of gold, and his coworkers were just as kind and supportive. We’re deeply grateful for everything they did to make this experience as gentle and meaningful as possible.

Resthaven staff were very professional and respectful, and provided wonderful service. I highly recommend them to anyone, as they accommodated my every need, making the entire experience as smooth and pleasant as possible during the hardest time of life.

Derrick is amazing to work with. The loss of my Sister was extremely difficult for my family. Derrick had my Sisters headstone placed and sent me pictures, he even called to check on me afterwards because knew that seeing it was very emotional for me. I can't say enough good things about Derrick as well as the entire Resthaven team. My family and I appreciate you.

This company is spamming my whole family. Even calling my work and repeatedly asked not call. Even the director was asked not call again. I'd never work with this company because of the harassment with the phone calls.

I visited Rest Haven today to Pre -plan arrangements I was very nervous Derek made me feel like he truly cared about my needs most of all he understood what I needed and I walked away feeling like a burden had been lifted as planning ahead was a first for me he kindly show me a tour of the facilities and grounds it is beautiful Derek I cannot thank you enough I highly recommend Rest Haven for needs for your love ones

Everyone is very nice and professional. They will answer as many questions as you have, and we had a lot. Our Advisor was Jerry and he was excellent. He could read us well and had a good emotional balance with us. From the front desk to maintenance, everyone was kind and helpful.

They helped me during the worst time of my life when my pooch passed... Victoria, Sofie, and all of the staff were very friendly, compassionate and helpful in my time of need. Highly recommend the service offered here .

This place is amazing, they're very understanding and made the most difficult process for my father's passing so seamless. I love visiting, and it makes me happy how well kept they keep it all year around. I've referred other family members who also said they had a good experience. Thank you again Resthaven for always doing your best. Update: The ownership changed, and we're not happy. I'ts not the same they have changed a lot of the policies.

Ava and Branham were wonderful. They have been very comforting as I grieve my mother. I also appreciated how transparent they were about the arrangements and pricing. They were extremely kind, understanding and supportive during an extremely difficult time. I will always be grateful to them.

If I could give zero stars for Resthaven Funeral home I would. We had an appointment to have a visit to set up arrangements. My father is in the hospital currently and coming home with Hospice tommorrow. My mother has had 3 appointnents for a visit. She has to leave the hospital each time when she is needed to be there to meet with the Resthaven worker and they have been no call no show each time. Today was a 6pm visit and there was no answer each time we tried to get in contact. You would think that a place like Resthaven would be the place where you have support during a time like this. Your family is already under stress during this time and this adds to it when it is uneeded. I hope that someone reads this and it can make a difference somewhere and it doesnt happen to anyone else.

Resthaven used to be a wonderfully maintained property for my family’s graves. I have generations of relatives here and future plots for my family. Over the last year, property maintenance has seemed to go downhill. They aren’t maintaining the grass as well as it was previously, and since they go so long without mowing, there is dead grass and debris on gravestones. My parents are considering bringing their leaf blower and trimmer on future visits to my family’s gravesites to clean them up. It’s unacceptable for them to have to do this. We have heard others complain about this issue as well. We hope management will prioritize this moving forward so that families can feel comfortable burying their loved ones here, knowing they’re in a place that is cared for.

I wanted to give a great kudos to Jessica. She was super compassionate and helpful in helping me and my fiancé with the lost of our newborn son. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness and wanted to personally express my gratitude. I know your job is not the easiest but your empathy and care for your clients is much appreciated.

After a 3 year battle with cancer, my dear mom passed recently. Knowing mom's last few days with us had arrived, we reached out to Resthaven to get a sense of cost and expectations for mom's post-care. David answered my wife's initial call and was extremely patient and knowledgeable. He made it clear that we could call anytime, 24-7, when the time came and they would be there for us. I had to make that call very early on a Sunday morning and David took the call. Very respectful and compassionate and he immediately mobilized Resthaven's post-care transport. A gentleman named Jeff arrived soon thereafter and he was very humble, gracious and extremely respectful of our grief and my mom's body. We felt at peace knowing we were releasing my mom into their care. Prior to and following her cremation, our experience with David and the rest of Resthaven's team was fantastic. Not having been through this experience before, they we're very thoughtful in making sure that we understood all the options and services available to us but were never aggressively trying to upsell or influence our decisions. They were very patient and very accommodating with our timeline. Myself and family would highly recommend Resthaven and the good, caring people who help families in their time of grief and need. Thank you Resthaven team!

Jessica was wonderful. She was so compassionate helping us with a very sudden and unexpected loss, plus out of state. I truly cannot thank her enough. David was also so kind to us on the day we said goodbye to our loved one. He made the best of a difficult situation for us. I am amazed at how seamless this process was and the wonderful and respectful care we all received. A very heartfelt thank you to Jessica and David.

Just a overall wonderful experience and nice staff, (Jessica, Tyler & Mickey) are the ones that helped the most with the recent passing of my father. Jessica and tyler were always available to talk to if we had questions, and helped us through every step with so much patience and kindness. I will be forever thankful to them for their help in making sure everything went well with my father's pre planned funeral arrangement's guiding us and talking with us about my father as well as checking up on us. They also remain available at anytime if we have any follow up questions as well. Mickey was a very kind and gentle man that took the time to talk to my family and even helped me to have the courage to say something in my dad's memory, as well as having all the right words and songs to play at my father's funeral. All the staff was very welcoming and kind in general especially when it came to my young daughter. Im forever thankful for their kindness and generosity to my family and my father.

Branham and the Resthaven staff were respectful and considerate and listened to the details of my beloved husband's Wake. They made this difficult time as easy as it could possibly be, and beautiful as well. I would definitely recommend them for anyone needing to make final arrangements for their loved ones.

Resthaven was so easy to work with and Jessica just added compassion to the experience. Our mother passed suddenly and we had 2 days to react. Resthaven was responsive and professional to all involved. I hope I can use them again even tho I am out of the state of Maryland.

I hate to write a negative review, as I have a lot of family at this cemetery, and have dealt with Resthaven years back with no issues. However, I don’t want this issue happening to another family. Unfortunately a close family member of mine passed away recently and their funeral services were held by Resthaven. Upon arrival, my husband overheard the staff members (Jessica) saying they were “scrambling” to get things ready. Not something anyone wants to hear about their loved ones funeral. Next, my husband, brother and I went out to get some air and talk. Standing in a triangle in front of my vehicle and near the vehicle parked next to mine, the same staff member (Jessica) that made the “scrambling” comment, proceeded to walk out of the chapel, up to us, and ask us to “stand somewhere else because the Jeep was an employees vehicle and they were worried about it”. I wasn’t quite sure how to take that. Are they calling us delinquents (my tattoos were visible)? That’s why they were “worried”. We all wore dress clothes, no one was leaning on their vehicle or standing too close. Mind you, my vehicle was parked next to theirs. Guess we can’t stand near our own vehicles. That employee was also parked in the very front row. We’re at a funeral, what could we possibly do to the vehicle? So not only were we publicly embarrassed, but we were there to grieve the loss of an immediate family member, not be humiliated and profiled. It was completely unprofessional and ridiculous to say that to a grieving family. There is a time and a place, and that’s not it! I could understand if we did something wrong, but we’re adults and we know better. The other problem that was embarrassing on Resthavens part, was the Funeral Memorial/Prayer cards. It wasn’t until about an hour in that I noticed they were wrong. They did not put some of the requested pictures/information on them, and the “Footprints in the Sand” poem was incorrect. I brought it up to a gentleman at the “grief session” and he told me that the poem must have been a “different variation”. They also got his death date wrong. I am so sad and unhappy with how everything unraveled. That is a day you can’t get back or redo! The positive for the day was how absolutely WONDERFUL Mickey was! He was the only saving grace to bring the day back. He even apologized on behalf of Jessica. He truly did a great job.

This review is long overdue. Our mother passed in March and we really wanted her to be in the beautiful gardens of Resthaven. Skott, Gabriel and the rest of the staff were amazing. From beginning to end they took care of everything while also stepping back when we wanted to lead. In the months since, we have been there to visit and everything is always well maintained. They have also reached out several times to see how we are doing. I highly recommend Resthaven. We will be using them again for our father, but hopefully not anytime soon;)

I worked with Ron from Resthaven who graciously helped facilitate a very positive and informative experience planning my dads graveside service. The staff, including Elizabeth, were exceptional, comforting, and sensitive during an extremely sad event for my family. Everything was perfect and well taken care of. I appreciate their follow up and service. They truly care!

My family has done business with Rest Haven several times. The most recent being this week for my grandfather's funeral service. I cannot thank Mr. Stein and his entire staff enough for the hard work and dedication to laying my grandfather to rest respectfully. The buildings are beautiful and the grounds are also well maintained. We really enjoyed the small children's room for when the kids just needed a break and the lounge area that overlooked a pasture. Thank you again for your service to my family.
