I recently bought a truck in Virginia which had tint too dark to register in the state of Maryland. This business cleaned-off the improper tint and then installed the proper tint to pass state inspection. I was lucky enough that they were able to service my truck the same day, I simply caught them on a slow day. The front office manager named Rebecca was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. As I waited during service, I overheard Rebecca describe their services over the phone to potential customers. I was very impressed with her "on the spot" expertise on all of their products, services, prices, recommendations, and named the large fleet customers who they provide service for. The quality of the job performed is top-notch. I highly recommend this business for window tint.

The front staff is very welcoming. I have visited twice and received nothing but smiles and answers. The man who tinted my truck came in and spoke to me about the truck and the job! Extremely pleased. Thank you. bob ziegler.

If you want to spend 4000$ on a stereo system that doesn’t work and you get nothing but excuses and lies. Bring your car here, my car hasn’t worked right since this guy touched it. I’ve got nothing but lies and excuses and even had to take it in while still under warranty then he tells me he never liked the stuff he sold me. Since Friday when I had to have him “reset it” I’m now told I’ll have to buy something else to make it work right. This guys a hack and a straight up thief. I wouldn’t send my worst euro have work done here. It’s going to another sho this weekend with the original sales ticket. I do not believe the equipment that I was sold was necessary and stuff I was charged for wasn’t replaced and labor I paid for wasn’t done. I feel like am absolute fool for ever walking through tint and sounds front door. Never again . What a joke Edit : I saw Sam Friday when I picked up my jeep. lol remember he couldn’t be Bothered to come hand me my keys then I had to come back in cause all the wires were falling out of the back. Stop lying you know exactly who I am. Again more lies and excuses. And if you thought after this last experience of inconvenience and excuses I would ever bother bringing my jeep back into you , you’re crazy! Less then a year old and the radio glitches out every time I turn the jeep off and reconfigures itself. And since I picked my jeep up from tiny and sounding reichs fords rd in Frederick Friday January 30th 2026. When Sam had to “reset” it after being told he was replacing stuff under warranty which he didn’t it’s glitched out every time I’ve turned the jeep off. Look I don’t know where you people learned to do business but you’re horrible people. You took 4000$ cash from a single dad who didn’t have 4000$ to spend. I saved and saved my hard earned money and you don’t even know who I am 😂😂 there you go folks exactly why I’ll NEvER WASTE MY TIME AGAIN. Like I said . If you want to feel second best go to SAM AT TINT AND SOUND. If you want to get over looked your money taken and they don’t even know who you are. This is your place 😂lol it’s cool. I work service in Frederick I see and recommend a lot of things to a lot of people. I’ll be sure to pass along how great you are to your consumers . Ask for Sam 😂 Sam was in my jeep w me Friday telling me I need to buy one of his tools so I can reset my new 4000$ car stereo myself instead of waste his time 😂 you dont recognize me 😂 it’s cool you don’t have too. I know who you are. And the only thing tint and sound gives a crap about is your money. And don’t act like this is the first time you’ve gotten a review like this. All anyone has to do is look a little and they’ll see. Reviews like mine are becoming a common thing w tint and sound . Yeah Sam 😂 yeah no. Every time Sam touches my jeep more things go wrong. Went to see Tint & Sound to get ambient lighting installed in my car. Everything was explained very well, and the quality of work is great. Highly recommend to anyone looking for aftermarket electronics to be installed in their car.

Tint and Sound is a model for how a business should be run. Sam is a really great guy. He's super friendly and willing to take the time to listen to what you want and work toward making you happy. She’s in the Navy and recently bought a brand-new Toyota Tacoma TRD, and for her birthday she wanted her windows tinted. After reading all the great reviews, I decided to make an appointment—and this company did not disappoint! Rebekah at the front desk was super friendly and helped us pick out a perfect look for my daughter’s truck. The team did a fantastic job, the price was very reasonable, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Tint and Sound to anyone in the area looking for window tinting or speaker installs. Outstanding service and results!

My new car came with a sound system that was really lacking in bass. I wasn’t looking for anything huge, just enough to round out the spectrum. It’s a small car and I also didn’t want to give up any trunk space. I came asking about a spare tire subwoofer but they recommended an underseat subwoofer, a Kicker 8” Hideaway. Sounds fantastic and is gives plenty of bass. Unfortunately there was a bit of a manufacturing defect and they took care of it under warranty. Staff was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I highly recommend.

Installed my son's sound system which burned a hole in his seat, Tint and Sound did pay for the seat repair. 2 tows to 2 Ford Dealerships over the past 8 months to finally find out Tint and Sound used the WRONG size wire when installing the system which resulted in wires melting. Luckily the 2nd Dealership finally caught it, they said the truck could have caught fire at any time. We informed the Owner of Tint and Sound of the wrong size wire used and the potential of starting a fire, the Owner said "not our fault it was wrong wire, we just install what you bring us". When asked if he KNEW it was the wrong size wire, Owner again stated "we just install what customers bring". Better Business Bureau report filed.

I have previsouly used Tint and Sound for tint installation and was pleased with the result. We bought a new car recently and I wanted to PPF the full front and ceramic coat the rest. After talking to Sam and knowing of his past work, I decided to go with them even though there were no reviews for his PPF/ceramic coat work. After thoroughly inspecting, I'm happy to report the PPF installation is flawless.  It's good to know that there are other perfectionists who take pride in their work!

I’ve invested a lot into this vehicle—it’s my dream car—and I wanted a sound system to match. I’m someone who values quality over quantity, and Tint & Sound absolutely delivered. The bass has a solid, clean thump that I can feel, and the sound now feels full and balanced. Before the upgrade, the factory system sounded like a tin can—this was a much-needed improvement. I have a 2006 Toyota Avalon Limited with the JBL Synthesis factory sound system that is infamous for blown rear deck lid subwoofer. Initially I went to Best Buy to seek assistance from the Geek Squad because I didn't want to deal with the JBL refoam kit. After spending 40 minutes with Best Buy they told me they could not offer me a solution. They told me to call Crutchfield. I was a little skeptical but decided to take a chance with Tint and Sound of Frederick, MD and I am glad I did. I had a new 8 inch Kicker Competition R subwoofer installed in the factory hole. This brought the JBL Synthesis back to its former glory. The bass Kicks like a mule. The 12 speaker system came to life. Everything is clear and the bass thumps. They reassembled all the trim pieces back properly. A week later I went returned to have my windows tinted. I highly recommend Tint and Sound. You won't be disappointed. Sam and Rebecca were amazing! The customer service was fantastic and they helped me every step of the way. My car wasn’t able to get a new radio due to the wiring but Sam showed me multiple options and took the time to explain and show me how we could make it work. Their service was quick and thorough. I highly recommend them for all your tinting and sound needs.

We've been customers of Tint and Sound for years and they always provide exceptional and affordable service. They tinted the windows on three of our vehicles, rewired and upgraded the sound system in our classic Firebird, installed a new Sony head unit on one of our work trucks, and most recently handled the installation of multi-color headlights on my car. They also went above and beyond to research and install a dash cam that has all of the features I wanted. Their work is efficient and of the highest quality. I can't recommend them enough!

Had my C6 zo6 tinted. If anyone is familiar this is easily one of the hardest cars to tint due to the rear glass. Was no issue for these guys. The owner has been tinting longer than I have been alive and assured me it would be done properly. Sure enough no issues!

They were absolutely amazing ! I was told by Frederick window tinting that they were not able to remove chips of my old tint and they couldn't do my car. The next day I took my car to Tint and Sound and put me on the schedule and were able to do an amazing job that I was originally told was impossible by another place. So impressed with the quality work at Tint and Sound!! Professional, super kind, knowledgeable and affordable! Amazing quality at a great price, they truly care about their customers and they pride themselves in their quality of work rather then sucking your wallet dry!
