I visited here while traveling out of state and seeing I was low on oil. Naeem was a life-saver, and saved the day helping me select the right product for my car and remedy the situation.

Staff was helpful and they had what I needed

The staff at this store is terrible. The man, who is sarcastic and curly-haired, is terrible at serving me. He insulted me when he served me and treated me very badly. They should fire that person.

Yesterday and this morning, I noticed a hesitation when starting my Jeep, so I stopped by the Crestwood Advance Auto Parts a couple miles from home to get a new battery, and the service was exceptional, as usual. Carlos was helpful, guiding me to the correct battery for my vehicle, and Siddiq’s installation was fast and efficient, putting me back on the road in 15 minutes. There were several customers in the shop at the time, and still the entire process was seamless. Stay safe on the road; don’t hesitate. Listen to your vehicle, listen to the experts.

The store located in Frederick, MD off Crestwood Blvd has the worst customer service and lack of incompetent workers I have ever experienced. Instead of being helpful and informative about parts for specific cars, they were the total opposite. They took advantage of the fact that most people don’t know much about cars and sold my boyfriend the wrong caliper and 2 faulty die-hard batteries. Both batteries weren’t ever at the proper CCA number for his car. When Carlos was asked about why he sold him a battery, twice, that wouldn’t ever work for his car to begin with, he got very defensive and wouldn’t speak to us anymore. Then when asked why he didn’t explain this in the first place, he told us, that ‘he doesn’t have time to explain anything when there’s customers in the building.’ Meanwhile- we were the only ones in the store and there were 2 other advanced auto part employees sitting behind the counter. They were not helpful, not friendly, not knowledgeable and unwilling to give us any answers besides the fact that everything was our fault instead of them taking any accountability. I wasn’t given corporates number or the managers number upon asking for it, I was just told to ‘google it’. Sadly, I had to give them 1 star but they deserve none!

SCAMTASTIC! Consistantly 50-100% pricier rhan amazon and front desk staff that ignorantly try to upsell you. We were just told "these $5.99 spark plugs on this list? They FIT but they wont work you need the $8.99 ones". I asked "why is it on the compatible parts list on your pc?" "Thats there to get sold and the parts arent blah blah blah". I still got the cheap plugs. Car works fine. And he didnt know im a retired ford mechanic. Also, this store doesnt like to warranty parts bought at other adv auto locations.... 6 times now ive run into that. SHOP ELSEWHERE!

Great customer service . They installed wipers on the car while it was 6 degrees outside.. above and beyond. 5 stars!

Since we have had 5 days of single digit temperatures and having two vehicles with batteries 6 years old plus it was time to swap both out before they left me stranded.... Brought 2 core batteries in and walked out with two new ones 10 minutes later.... I guess it's been a while since I had to purchase a battery because I never had to pay $220 per battery ever before 😂😂😂... Talk about inflation 😳

Dave is great at what he does. Helped me on numerous occasions with Great customer service. I look for him every time I need something.

The battery died right in front of the store. They came out and tested it and of course I needed a new battery. Did it in a timely fashion while we waited. Thank you Dave.

David was amazing!!! I was in desperate need of some help with installing my new battery because the fuse box sits on the battery and I didn’t have extra money to take it to a mechanic. David was so sweet and nice and didn’t hesitate to help!! I can’t thank you enough David!!!

I have always gone to Advance Auto Parts for help with my auto needs and have always received exceptional customer service. This morning, "Niem" (unsure of spelling- pronounced Ny-eem) advised they could no longer assist with changing the battery on my key fob. He refused to even show me how to open it. Said they are no longer allowed. Not asking him to replace my engine- it was a BATTERY. RIDICULOUS. I will now take my business to one of the 5 OTHER car places within a 3-mile radius. 0 STARS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. ***I went to AutoZone and they helped me immediately, with 5 star customer service.

Purchased $92 Slime electric (plug-in) tire inflation kit today. Compressor struggled to inflate above 37 psi. Smoked at 42 psi. Returned to Crestwood, Frederick, MD store with receipt within 2 hours of purchase. Advance Auto manager said they would not accept return because I may have gone to their store to purchase for one time emergency use. Brilliant policy! Screw your good customers to protect yourself from potential bad customers.

We had a problem with our Toyota Yaris and David was extremely helpful, very thorough, and professional! I definitely recommend this store!!

Service was fast. There were people there to help. Looks like they had a lot of staff present. I was able to get the part I needed and while the person behind the desk did not have outstanding customer service skills. He got the job done.

David was such a big help! He was kind and very knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to make sure I got the correct parts and even took a moment to look at my car as well. Amazing customer service. Danny helped me with my car that wouldn’t start. They didn’t have part my car recommended so he made some suggestions which worked out great. He got my car running again and saved me from having to call out of work. Thank you!!! I am super grateful he worked today.

they are ok. I go to the other stores in the area for major parts I need. coming from a family that has always worked on their own cars, getting the correct parts is vital when you have your car up on the jack stands and it's wrong.

I bought a new battery from them back in May. The last couple of weeks my car hesitates when first starting it. Yesterday my car was completely dead. So I brought it back to Advance to get it tested. The tech tested my battery and alternator and I was told everything was good? Huh? I just had to jump start my car before coming to them. I don't understand? I was told it was good but if I wanted the battery charged it would take 4 hours. Wow, yikes! Who has 4 hours? I would have preferred a new battery but he said he couldn't because the battery was good. Ugh! He was friendly though. Hope my battery doesn't die again.

Friendly over phone they checked and had my 10yo Toyota tag and break lightbulbs. Close to Braddock Hts, a few minutes and I was at the well lit well staffed store. And, 16 bucks later, I was all set, with bulbs replaced in the parking lot.

They have all the parts that I needed, but no one really helped me. It took forever to check out and pay, and they weren't that busy. The guy behind the counter wasn't that friendly either and took a long time to ring me up. Since I had already been waiting in line for 15 mins, the extra 5 mins it took for him to ring me up just compiled my aggravation.

Went here on a referral from someone and was pleasantly surprised! I needed a new battery and I was in and out in just a few minutes. Daniel was very helpful and able to take care of my problem with a kind and informative manner. Thank you so much!!

Excellent customer service!!! We've been to many different auto parts stores over our collective 50+ years. This is, by far, our go to Advance Auto, specifically for one, excellent employee, Rob Hanley! Rob is extremely knowledgeable, always helpful, thorough, and kind. He has listened to my concerns and been able to diagnose my concerns very quickly, on many different occasions. He's informed about the products in the store and makes suggestions for additional items I may need while competing a repair, (to save me unnecessary return trips back to the store). Both my husband and I have really appreciated his assistance over the last 10 'ish years(?), thank you Rob! On a side note, as a female, he is extremely respectful, and has never been condescending to me, or other females I've seen him work with, which is refreshing!

Just went to Advanced for a new battery and got fantastic service from a gentleman named Rob! Advised us on what battery to buy then stayed with us a full 45 mins to help clean up the corroded battery and replace the new one! Such great service and we totally appreciated all of his help!!

I have to say I wasn't very impressed with this store or the employees. This changes over time, so hopefully they get some better people in there. Most of the employees while I was in the store were terse, unhelpful and sometimes downright rude or condescending. One of them was talking to a customer on the phone and if anyone attempted to talk with her she would put on a sour face and say something rude. Another employee went to ring me up and when I had more requests he said his computer wouldn't work and just pointed to another register and walked off. Then when I did get someone to help me, he was pushy, condescending and I felt like I was being upsold on EVERYTHING. I don't know if they make commission but it sure feels like it. He tried to push the most expensive brake pads they had and told me that anything less would damage my wheels. Ha, I know better than that. Then he tried to ring me up for like 4 packets of brake pad lube, which is way more than I needed. He even double guessed me when I told him what size of bolt I wanted. So needless to say I doubt I'll be going back there anytime soon. Maybe in a couple years when they have better staff. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere with professionals.
