I had a driver broke down on the highway. Mechanic was dispatched quickly and our issue was repaired within the time I was quoted. Very courteous and price was fair. We will definitely be a repeat customer.

Absolute best! After Hours, during hours it doesn't matter. These people answer the phone and went above and beyond for me on a crucial situation. I can't say enough positivity for these people other than good karma is on their side due to them treating people right!

Will not recommend this shop. They charged almost 300$ to reseal a hub seal no parts used at all, plus 50$ to just grease the fifth wheel. Thats insane!!! Not surprised at all they was not busy during DOT week.

Went to the Kenworth Dealer and they stated that I needed a new radiator pipe and didn’t have the part while I was loaded. Also charged me $680. Went an hour down the road and overheated but I had enough coolant to get me to this shop. The night crew looked it over, didn’t charge me and said it would be best to have it looked at in the morning. They moved several trucks around in their parking lot so we could park in their lot over night and have the truck level and off the road in a safe place. In the morning, they put it under pressure and found the coolant leak and tightened the clamp. I was only charged 1/2 hour. They were more than fair and everyone that I encountered was more than nice.

The other reviews speak for themselves. Was charged $775 for a standard tandem axle truck inspection. That’s almost double then most reasonable shops in that area. Place is a dump…..

AWESOME PLACE! Called about ABS and other issues with Isuzu NPR truck, they fit me in the schedule AND fixed all issues very swiftly! Very polite, honest and knowledgeable people... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Here's the shimmy about J&M Truck Repair. If you're not a regular customer that spends lots of money, be repaired to wait for your truck to be serviced. If your truck is in for a small/minor issue/repair, be prepared to have wait if bigger paying repair comes in. Definitely get any quote or estimate in writing. Check over your truck prior to leaving for grease, dirt, or other markings (damage) on your truck. If you were unfortunate enough to have your truck towed in, make sure there is new strap and bolt kit installed, if your drive shaft was pulled. Don't believe everything you're being told on the phone. If possible, stop by to verify what you've been told. Don't let my misfortune, happen to you.

We were towing a large 3 axle trailer and blew an axle. We called and limped to their location. We got 5 star service. They pulled out the staff and started fixing our issues immediately. The staff stayed late to finish our job and get us back in the road quickly. Awesome staff and I highly recommend their service!!

The service was above beyond! Diesel Truck died, transmission started locking up! I was 1.5 miles away. The guy who service our truck his name is JR. You will be lucky to have someone as diligent professional and efficient! Thank you guys sincerely

I am amazed at all the good reviews of this company. We have had nothing but problems with them from the start. We were told the work would be completed quickly- 6 weeks later we had to get our truck towed out. We asked multiple times for a quote or how much our bill was. We were never given an answer, 6 weeks later we are told it’s over $2,600 and our truck is still in pieces. The bill did not provide a breakdown of services provided and when we questioned the price it magically went down $500. Furthermore, there are multiple parts purchased that we never authorized or were made aware of prior to the work being completed. I have no problem paying for services rendered, however, there was no communication and no professionalism. It just leaves you feeling as though you were ripped off. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We received tow services for our RV - stuck on a hot day, rural road, outside of Frederick with our family. Both the dispatcher and the tow bed driver were great! We were 1,000 miles from home and greatly appreciated the care, professionalism and timely response.

Very professional!! I had 2 brake downs in one day. First they had to come to me to fix airline's. They got to me qnd done within an hour. After I got loaded I was headed towards 81 and my driver brake chamber melted. They had me fixed within 2 hours. I extremely recommend this shop!

I have to say my experience with this business was absolutely phenomenal I was on the highway coming up from Florida on my way to Syracuse New York when I lost Pretty much all power and it was because of a fuel loss issue the young man ( Philip ) worked very hard day in and day out Monday and Tuesday to get me back on the road. He went through a process of elimination he put a fuel gauge on my fuel bowl we ran the truck at Idle it had 50 pounds of pressure once you got into the pedal it only had 5 pounds he took my fuel tank down he found all kind of parts in it my prescreen was completely broken up in 50 or so pieces all kind of trash in my tank he put it back together with a brand new pre-screen and put a new fuel pump on it and it still had the same issue that was on day one .day two he took all my fuel lines off just like he did the day before and ran even a higher pressure of air through the fuel lines and parts and pieces of my pre-filter come flying out of the line he put it back together and On the road I was again I tried to tip the young man and he wouldn’t even take the tip he told me because I’m on the highway I would probably need it I surely do appreciate these guys my very first experience with them was an absolute blessing and if I could I would refer anybody to these people they do what they do best they get you back on the road again. And as for the guys in the office they gave me the southern hospitality in which I’m used to and I appreciate you guys also thank you very much J & M TRUCK REPAIR INC. you guys are amazing and a gift from God ... Truck and camper broke down on the side of I70. Stephen and Dale towed our truck and 45 ft camper. They let us stay the night and ran electricity to our camper since we were stranded with no rentals available Labor Day weekend. We had great service and great hospitality, would highly recommend this place!!! Owners went above and beyond for us!

Very pleased with the quality of service here at J&M. The tow truck driver was very fast and friendly. He got me off the side of the highway efficiently and safely. Upon arrival to J&M they diagnosed my truck and had a great selection of different coffees and snacks while I waited. The gentlemen at the front desk were polite, and I enjoyed talking with them while my truck was being fixed. Phil was the mechanic who got me back on the road. That young man did excellent work and explained his repair to me and why it needed it. Phil was very respectful and kept me updated throughout the repair process. 👍 5 stars for you guys ! Thanks ! I had a bolt fall out of my alternator and needed jump started. I called J and M instantly discussed options. Service truck showed up within 50 minutes of my call and got me going again. Affordable quality work. I will definitely keep them in mind for when I'm in the area.

I called J&M truck repair regarding a problem with my Diesel motor home ( injector fuel leak). Brain in the service department told me to bring it to the shop so a mechanic could look at it. Phillip, our mechanic, jumped right on it the minute we got there and found the problem!. As it turned, out Phillip saved us a ton of money by repairing the problem rather then replacing the parts. He is a very knowledgeable young man. I would recommend this shop to all diesel owners. Thanks, Phillip, for your help..Larry

Was going from Washington, DC to Chicago on Friday evening when suddenly noticed that air compressor was pumping air constantly to 150 psi and not turning off at all. So I pulled up on shoulder and started looking for dealership. I kind of knew I needed air governor, so I was calling asking if they had it in stock, freightliner in Hagerstown didn't. I also called like 5 other shops around, nobody had it and nobody wanted to fix nothing on Friday night. So I noticed this place accidentally was 3 ml away from where I stopped. Called in explained what I needed, the guy on the phone was extremely nice, he said that air governor is the same on most trucks and they had one( nobody from previous places told me that) it was 4.50 pm and they close at 5, but he said come over they will try to fix it still. So when I got there they started working on my truck right away. I was with loaded trailer so they told me just park on drive way. I was watching all this process, the name of mechanic was Billy, that guy saved me from being waiting weekends until dealership would order governor, and probably would make me replace much more things( plus I had two loads to deliver Monday)! Also mechanic found air line was out of air compressor( was extremely hard to find and replace that, I have a Detroit motor!). I ended up paying for 1 hour labor and part.( dealership probably would cost me thousands and days of waiting!!) so Thank You guys!!!!

My 2001 Pete broke down on the road for overheating. The lower radiator hose busted. Garrett came out in about 1 hour. replaced my lower hose filled with coolant. and I was back on the road. I would highly recommend j&m truck repair if you are broke down in Maryland. honest and fair pricing.

Broke down on side of the road at 3:30 in the morning, called for help, wasn't even 1/2 hour later I had help at my location!!! John the mechanic who came out was very nice and explained to me my problem and was able to fix it on the spot. I looked at some of the ratings people had wrote about having a bad experiance with them and i scratch my head wondering what bad drug did they take?, these guy's are the greatest!!!!! I'll use them again and again and will tell all my friends about them.

These guys have the WORST customer service I've ever seen. They quoted me a $500 quote to tow my tractor on a Saturday and I requested service from them. It took them all the way until Wednesday of the next week just to give me a diagnosis of the problem of my truck. I had to continuously call Brian to check on my truck because he refused to let me know anything until he needed a down payment. It took 2 weeks to fix my truck. When I finally came to pick my truck up, they tried to charge $140 dollars extra until I strongly refused, which lead them to lower it to only a extra 50 bucks. I expressed my experience to the manager and he just listened with no type of resolution. (((TO ALL MY OWNER OPERATORS))) If you want to chase down a company to get answers about the status of your truck, be over charged, and deal with management who can care less about you getting back to work, or your horrible experience with their company, then J&M should be your choice. If not, STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!! To top it all off, they're choosing to lie on there response. They claimed I refused information they gave that would save me money by choosing a service tech to come out. What??? I knew I needed some major service and a tow. My whole drive shaft came out my truck. I knew roadside couldn't fix that. He only towed my truck. There was no roadside service at all. So what was the extra charge for??? Plus you guys responding to this comment faster than you gave me a diagnosis. You guys have horrible customer service, and cover up your the wrong you do. PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE LIARS!!!

Be aware!!!!!!!!! They figured My starter is not working.They fixed it but after that I lost my A/C, I called them and told them that I lost my A/C and they told me it has nothing to do with us! I told the lady that my A/C was working when I drove to your shop. She still insisted that its not there fault. Anyhow, I started driving and about 30 miles my battery indicator light was on. I had to stop as soon as possible, I barely made it to a truck stop! The mechanic figured that those guys has loosen a wire and that's what made it not to charge. I have been stuck with mechanics for 3 days and they changed 3 AC Compressors. Still not working. I am with an electrician now and he found that they messed up between the wires.

They gonna rip you off. Called them at 3 am for road service and they sent their guy at noon. The trailer could not be repaired on the road so their guy waited with me for the tow truck which came at 6 pm. They charged me 5 hrs labor at 115 dollars per hour even though their mechanic was taking a nap on his truck waiting for tow truck. Before all started i asked them for an estimate and they said 2000 dollars. When i went to pay the bill was 2640 dollars. Avoid these guys if you can.

When my husband and I needed our 7500 towed I called J&M. They were quick to get our truck to their shop and did all the repairs to get her up and running. They are good people, professional, honest, and talented. If you need towing or repair work on your heavy duty truck, this is the place. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I have always had good service at J & M. My truck is fixed on time and ready when they say it will be. I can not afford to have my work truck down very long and they always treat me with a sense of urgency. The prices are fair and the quality of work is great. I do my regular maintenance and emergency repairs here.
