We were stopped on the side of the road outside Chiefland, FL with black smoke pouring out from under our RV. Called and talked to Damien from A-1 Tire Plus and he got to us as quick as he could. Very helpful and friendly guy. He and his other worker had to take off a set of duals to fix the problem. Got us back on the road and no problems since then. Even sent a follow up text the next day to check on us. Very professional and knowledgeable crew. Would highly recommend them!

Im a wildland firefighter/emt in town assisting with local fire. Our ambulance had some problems with the rims and needed to be replaced quickly so we could continue to assist.

They had rims the next day and replaced within the hour. Thank you guys for fast and efficient service!

We went to have tires put on our car and we were leaving to go out of town so they put the tires on and we asked if they balanced them and we were told yes they did but driving down the road the car was very shaky when you got to certain speeds which told me they didn’t balance the tires so again we went there on the day of our trip we go there they said we balanced them again and they agreed you’re right we didn’t balance them the 1st time. We left for our trip and the car did the same thing, shaky shaky shaky got back from my trip thank God nothing went wrong. We had to drive 600 miles there and back. We took it to another tire place in town and the guy took one tire off and said these tires aren’t balanced no weights not one weight how you balanced a tire without weights. I advise you if you’re getting tires put on there don’t do it go somewhere else save yourself a headache that we went through. No more shaky shaky

My husband was on his way home from Jacksonville to Tampa pulling his skid steer with a dump trailer, the trailer’s tire popped in Gainesville and had no replacement tire. He was connected to A-1 Tires Plus and they did an amazing job getting to him and putting a new tire on the trailer. Really appreciate their help.

They got the wheel hub job done. A year later, changing my ball joints on the frontend and find they stripped a screw to my wheel hub. Customer service was good, the quality of work not so good.

They were great with me when I quoted and then ended up getting 5 tires for my truck plus they fixed up my TPMS at a very fair price. I appreciate that they're not a corporate place. They also fixed up a lawnmower tire for me without trying to sell me a new tire.

Thank you to everybody that works here. Got a Pop tire three hours from home, I called and they picked up immediately said they had one tire in stock was able to drive my car to their shop. Got the tire replaced very quickly and paid a very reasonable price at 7 PM on a Sunday night. God bless all of them.

Had a second blowout on our camper and this place had the tires we needed and was able to get them on the camper in a reasonable the. Friendly people. Thank you for the service .

Had them come do a road side tire service on my big rig . From the time they were called to the time they got me rolling it was between 30 -45 minutes. Awesome

I was traveling from Pensacola back to Tampa when the ride started getting really bumpy so I pulled over and noticed the tire had a huge bubble. I definitely was not going to make it back to Tampa on that tire so luckily A1 tire was available and they had my size. Josh was awesome. He took care of the tire no problem, was very polite, and did a great job. Highly recommend.

This place is great! We got a flat tire late at night and they were the only tire shop that was open and willing to take care of us. We had a unique tire measurement and they were the only one that had our tire. Dakota was kind and knowledgeable. If anyone needs a tire in Lake City, Fl, I highly recommend A-1 Tire Plus

Part 1. My tire guy was Dakota and it was a very very fast response. It was after 5pm. Very pleasant and respectful. Yes sir No sir responses with a smile and great attitude and work ethic. Momma did a great job at home. I'll be using them again anytime I'm in the area! Thanks

Part 2 next day. I'm only leaving the 2 stars for Dakota. Left Lake City with used tire happy as a clam fully aware of no warranty policy. Understood. Today I'm driving back from Atlanta the very next day with less than 500 miles on the tire and it blows. Called them to inform them about what happened was told that I would get a call back in 10 minutes and never heard from them since. 520.00 dollars and a great review until this happens. Sorry Dakota but I'm going to have to let everyone know to stay away from this place! With less than 24 hours on a tire and the cost of 520 dollars a return phone call was the least of my expectations.

Theres a lot to say to this business but I’ll cut it short it and say this I don’t recommend them they don’t take the business seriously and they made me wait 5pm-10pm with the towing company and they keeps saying they are on the way for the whole time in the end no one showed up

This place literally saved us after we got a flat tire 30 minutes south of Lake City. First, they recommended a great towing service. Second, they gave us a more than fair price for a new tire and labor. And third, they took care of our flat tire situation in a matter of minutes. They have a lovely dog, Dixie, who was super welcoming and adorable. I highly recommend this family-owned, friendly spot for anyone who needs tire services in the area. 10/10 experience!

I was in a bad situation and 1400plus miles from home with a very heavy load. Ms Ashley answered and quoted me a brand new set of tires alone with install so fair that I thought it was a scam. Note: this was after hours. She and tire guy Chico opened the store and installed the 4new tires within 45mins. I never felt so appreciated before in my life. If I can wait I will purchase all my future tires from this company because of their treatment of me when I needed them most. Thanks Ms Ashley and Chico!!!!!

Had a tire blow out on my 5th wheel heading up I-75 to I-10. I had a roadside company come and help put my spare on for me because I forgot my 4x4 Lug wrench. They installed the tires and I called ahead to A-1 to see if they had a replacement. The team was AWESOME from start to finish. Unfortunately the roadside crew did not speak any English but did manage to cross thread almost every lug on the wheel. Then A-1 noticed the hub had grease all over it and was loose. They asked how far I was going, I told them Texas. There genuine concern for further damaging my RV if I drove on the broken hub was enough, they scoured the county looking for a replacement to no avail. They disassembled my axle and took it around town to find an equitable replacement to no avail. They felt horrible, but this attitude to sent me to a campground for the night nearby. I did not want anyone else to touch it except this company that cares for the customer! I stayed three days until the part arrived and they finished the work for FREE for all of my inconvenience. 10 star shop on a 5 star scale!

Super dirty company will definitely take advantage of you. They use predatory tactics. They offered to change a tire for told me there shop was down the road gave me a price I made sure to ask if that was final price after taxes and all. They assured me yes. Got to the shop they tried to charge almost triple and take advantage. Horrible company with shady people don’t see them being open very long with their business tactics. Shady business beware !!!

I was on a road trip headed towards Tallahassee. Had to stop at a rest area because my tire was going flat. Ended up having to tow it to the closest tire place which ended up being A1 tire plus. I called ahead to see if they have my tire they did not, but they were able to order one to be delivered that afternoon and get me on the road. long story short ended up needing all four new tires because the wires were showing through so they were able to get all four tires and get me back on the road as soon as they possibly could. The office staff and the tire guy were super helpful and very nice. Love the atmosphere. Good job guys!

In response to your response: No, incorrect.. I noticed the lug nuts were loose before him as we were looking at the vehicle out front. I was about to tighten them, in fact I went to grab the tools to do it myself, when the technician coerced me into his shop, saying he would 'take care of it'. I thought he was just being a decent human and was going to tighten them for free. Instead I was scalped for 65$. For something that took literally 1 minute. I was forced to drive to the back of the shop for no reason. I should report you to the police. In fact, your lucky I don't sue. Ridiculous.

I pulled because my truck was off. I noticed the lug nuts were loose. When I went to tighten them myself the mechanic coerced me to pulling it back into the shop. I paid 65$ for someone to tighten my lug nuts when I could've done it myself. Highway robbery man. Granted they took care of the issue but I felt taken advantage of..

They even used my tool to fix it

Great service. I hit a curb and needed road service. All road techs were already dispatched, so they pulled a tech off the floor and sent him. They were there in a matter of minutes to pull off my tire and take it back to the shop. They also had a used tire available at a great price. I’d give them a 10 star if I could. Thank you for making a horrible situation such a great experience!

You have to love and support local owned and this shop is great! Super friendly and great service! Prices are reasonable. We popped in to see if they could help with a bad tire situation, we were in and out, on a Sunday, in less than 30 minutes! Thank you!! We will definitely be back!

I am truly grateful for this tire shop!

On a Sunday of all days, the truck I was in had a tire separation and was quickly turning into an emergency situation.

The owner of the shop came in and opened up, during irregular hours, which was beyond unexpected and amazing! Not to mention, this was over Memorial Day weekend when no one else was open/available.

Although the tire needed wasn’t in stock, they made the truck safe to operate until the new tire came in and could be installed.

This shop kept a bad situation from becoming really bad, and were honest, going out of their way to help out.

In a world where kindness is needed right now, this place delivered!

Thank you, A-1 for coming to the rescue after hours. Staff was able to replace our tire and get us back on the road toward vacation. Nice people, just wish we would have known about the “open up fee” for after hours up front, instead of hearing from another customer waiting with us. Visited 3 other garages in the area. None could simply remove my tire or give me the time of day to try. They had the tools and courtesy to actually help. Was in and out in 30 minutes. Saved the day as I'm able to get home 3 hours away. Can't say good enough stuff about the guys and girl here.

I have an odd tire size that is becoming more and more difficult to find. After calling every tire place in 3 other counties they were the only ones who wer able to order and have them the next day. The price was very reasonable and affordable. The customer service was great, especially the Best Customer Greeter ive ever met. Make sure you show Diesel some love when you go here.

Horrible!! Do not go here! I got a tire and ended up losing a stud…. Tire kept going flat brand new mind you! So I went back and it’s only been 3 weeks. Now they say the tire doesn’t have a leak but it goes flat everyday! And now they have to cut off another lug nut that they put on and they stripped and I have to pay $240 for my two studs and they are doing nothing for the tire! My first trip I just needed one tire and ended up not able to drive it! So now again can’t drive it and now have only two studs! They blame the last one on whoever did the tire last time but this time it was them that put those lug nuts on and but it’s not their fault! I left with zero help…. Now I got it in at Wishes auto shop for $100! I love wishes!

This place is wonderful, the best customer service! My husband I had belts twist in a tire on a 24” inch rim while driving on Interstate 10. We called all of the tire shops in Lake City for a replacement with no luck. When calling A-1, they offered a comparable tire if we were interested so we slowly drove 13 miles to check it out. After arriving we discovered the tire was a mud version and would not work. The team spend hours researching options for us to get back on the road. They called friends, shops in neighboring towns, offered ordering for delivery the next morning with storage for the truck, offered their personal sets of rims for sale, and even suggested renting a Uhaul to tow it ourselves to our destination for repair to save on costs. Ultimately, they found a tire 1 hour away in Jacksonville that we were able to drive and pickup right before the shop closed for the day. The owner and mechanics at A-1 remained on standby after hours to open the shop back up when we returned to mount, balance, and install the tire for us. The owner and staff were super friendly and made sure we were able to get back on the road that night. We truly appreciated all of their help.
