Very honest and very reasonable prices especially for my car being a foreign car. I came to him with multiple issues that my car had and he fixed them for a fair price and made sure my car was in tip top shape before I drove off. I would've paid a fortune anywhere else.

When our car broke down at 3 in the afternoon on our way to south Florida, we had it towed to Powers Automotive and they worked on it until 8 o’clock that night, and we were able to continue on our trip south. I can’t say enough about how much they helped us!

My pickup blew a hose and water pump on I-10 on a Saturday afternoon. I called Powers and John answered, and got right to work when the tow truck delivered my truck. By 8p Saturday night my truck was ready to go. And he charged me reasonable rate. Honest, hard working, knows his stuff. May have to make the trip for all my cars now!

My truck is a 2011 but I love it and want to keep it a long time. Dashboard lit up and I checked the code and I knew it was going to be a pricy fix. After looking at reviews of the work done, I decided to limp my truck to Lake City to let Powers work on it. Owner picked up Sunday evening to confirm the truck was all set (one day turn around including getting parts) and ready to pick up Monday morning. Pulled up today as planned when they opened for the day. Bill was exactly what they said, I paid, prayed for everybody on their prayer wall, and headed on home. Rides beautiful. New go-to mechanic for me. Five big stars.

Met John through a nice woman I know. He installed my caliber on my passenger front side today. So far so good very nice family and very respectful. Thank you again ?

It’s Only one thing I could say positive about them is that they’re open 24hrs!!! . Where do I start ? Bad neighborhood,Poor communication, family hanging out in front playing loud music instead of fixing my car. They had no comfortable sitting area for their customers, it stink smelled like urine , so I had to stand up so end up walking at 9:30 pm for comfort, mind you it’s a bad neighborhood, just to return they still was hanging out . I had to keep asking questions to keep myself aware of what was transpiring . He finally started on my car told me it was one thing , then it wasn’t . Then told me I would need a new engine .My main concern was he doesn’t care about the safety of their customers. He told me that I could drive home under the conditions that my car was in . Just to take my money and tell me they about to shut the shop , which they were 24 hrs , mind you we were far from home . I’m a customer who really value my customer experiences and I never been so disgusted in my life and I would never recommend anyone to them.

I purchase this pulley in April and they put it on and it fell off in the road yesterday when in got into Florida. There's no way this should have happen four months later and this bad business now I'm without my suv because the bolts broke off in the engine and this should not have happen with a brand new pulley. When I called and told him he acting like he didnt care what so ever. THAT'S REAL BAD BUSINESS

100° outside. Driving a couple.of hundred miles. Drivers window wouldn't roll back up. Got off highway and started calling close by places. They called back. They looked , ordered the part from nearby and had me back on the highway in no time. Best place ever.

Hands down the best mechanic I’ve ever met. Powers is the ONLY service pro I’ll take my vehicles to - including my teen daughter’s. HONEST, INCREDIBLY FAST, AND JUST A GOOD GROUP OF PEOPLE. My cars are ALWAYS fixed right the first time, and with minimal waiting. If you go anywhere else, you’re making a BIG mistake!!!

I'm a tow truck driver and had a call at this shop. While there I had a hydraulic line burst pouring fluid all over the parking lot. Immediately the owner helped fix my leaking hose and was very understanding. That's the character everyone needs when getting their cars fixed! Thanks

While traveling back home to Atlanta from our vacation in Florida our 2012 Tahoe began to seriously overheat! Pulled over at the next exit and Google Searched mechanics in the area (I make it a point to steer clear of Dealerships when ever possible). Upon driving up to owner/operator John Powers shop saw this was a serious space to work on vehicles! John identified the issue in 30 seconds, had the parts and rushed me out so we could continue our trip home! Bottom line ... cost vs value is second to none at Powers Automotive Repair, LLC. John is absolutely amazing. My truck was at another shop who told me only ford could fix it, then it was at the ford dealership for 2 weeks, $4k later and the problem still wasn’t fixed. the engine continued to misfire and ac wouldn’t work. John figured out the problem and had it fixed the same day for a much more responsible price. I wish I would’ve went to him first, Definitely recommend this place!

absolutely the best mechanic! I had a problem with the ac not cooling, i went to other mechanics telling me that the compressor was bad even though I kept replacing it and ordering new compressors throughout the following days, I knew that wasn’t the problem, so I wasn’t going to order another compressor, so I went to this place and he got it working less than 2 hours!!! I’m so glad that it’s fix !!

First, I'd like to thank Rick again for introducing me to John after I was stuck and broke down on the side of I-75 on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. From the very beginning, It was nothing but excellent service from John and his staff. They let me leave my truck with them for almost 3 weeks while we were waiting on the new motor to arrive from Jasper motors. John had a quick turnaround time, he is knowledgeable, and a genuinely awesome person. I can't say enough great things about my experience with Powers Automotive. I'm glad I broke down in Lake City if I had to break down at all.

I broke down on I-10 heading home to Alabama from disaster relief work in Georgia. Tow truck driver said repair shop I chose was busiest shop in Lake City, FL and probably wouldn't be able to help me right away. He said he would check with a repair shop he uses to see if they could take a look right away. When we arrived at Powers Automotive my car was checked out within minutes. I was provided with a written estimate and told that I'd be back on the road in about 3-4 hours. The crew of mechanics at the shop did a fantastic job and had me back on the road before dinner! I cannot say enough good things about this shop. If you break down in or around Lake City, FL and need repairs, this is the place to go. They go beyond your expectations and will even work through meals or the night to get you back on the road.

Called Powers when my car wouldn’t start at a rest area 4 hours from home they said they could take me in, I tried a mobile mechanic first that tried to tow me to a shop for 250, Powers still was able to take me, hands down the nicest and most honest mechanic I’ve ever been to, as a solo traveling young woman I felt safe while they fixed my car til they closed. Priced my car very fair, they got me back on the road in no time. Powers definitely was where I was supposed to be!

These guys saved my butt. I had drove in to lake City from 4 hours away to accomplish some goals on my land when my truck broke down. I had so much to accomplish that day that required my truck and let's just say it could have cost me thousands of dollars to not be where I had to be. These guys bent over backwards to identify the problem and fix it quickly so I could be on my way. These guys are experts, work fast, charge fair prices and seem to genuinely care about the people that come through. You can trust them with whatever you need.

These guys were amazing. My car broke down when I was driving up to Tallahassee and the engine was completely burnt out. They managed to get a new one for me and completely replace it in less than four hours. And the price was far cheaper than I ever could have hoped for. Hardworking great people. If I could give them more than five stars I would. 10/10 recommend.

My car had a leak in the radiator and I was stranded with my family and dog. It was a nightmare. I was towed to this location and Mr. Powers took my car in right away. He ordered the parts and got to work immediately. My car was ready the following evening on a SUNDAY!! It was priced very reasonably and considering he worked on it all weekend is amazing. Thank you for allowing my family to make our way home on time. Highly recommend.

Very nice people. However, their work lasted just few miles. My van broke down in Lake City and required a new transmission. I had to buy the transmission on my own and send it to the shop for installation. They did the work but when I drove it home in the Tampa Bay area, the car did not run well. I parked the van and when I tried to drive it few days later it did not start. Long story short, the transmission did not work and the motor was not installed correctly. I spent more than $3000 and now need to sell it by parts. Off course, there is no refunds or warranty offered by the shop. Again, nice and kind people, but their work was just not good.

I was stranded on the highway and my vehicle was towed to this shop. I'm from VA and was driving through Florida going to Mississippi. My transmission was shot and these fantastic people treated me as if I were family. They stayed in touched with me concerning my vehicle and replaced my transmission within a few days. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, it was repaired and the owner, John and his wife prayed with me and my sister for traveling mercies for us to get home safely. I love this place and those people ?. Go see them and you won't be disappointed.

Promised 3 days took 6 days. Failed to complete the necessary repair. Lost a part of my vehicle. Didn't return calls and didn't respond to text messages. Had to take my vehicle to another repair shop to get the repair completed.
