Had a great experience with this towing company. They showed up right on time, which honestly made a stressful situation a lot easier. Travis was super friendly, professional, and went out of his way to help more than expected. He explained everything, made sure the vehicle was handled carefully, and just had a really good attitude the whole time. You can tell he actually cares about doing the job right. I’d definitely recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
Well when your new Jeep brakes down again, it's easy to get pissed off at every one in the process. The shining light, the tow truck. Damn, if the driver today wasn't one of the most competent and polite people I have dealt with. If I had a job for him I'd hire him. Why can't more companies offer service like this.
The young lady at the front desk was so kind. The owner, he was very compassionate and understanding. I was in an accident where my car flipped several times. The owner worked with me regarding my payment for storing my vehicle. Amazing customer service, where they truly care about their customers despite unfortunate circumstances. Customer service was horrible. I just ruined my brand new car and was in a heightened emotional frantic state, tow driver the owner, David ,was flat out rude and disrespectful. I believe he is prejudice. Quoted me $150 if I picked up when they opened on Monday after getting towed on Friday. I arrived on Monday and was told the total was $250 and there was an extra charge for using a card. This tow company is so scammy if you see this review AVOID this place. They charge a premium fee but can’t be bothered to put your car under a $15 tarp.
Davis Towing of Lake City, Florida, came to our rescue! Stranded on a Sunday due to a faulty alternator, the odds seemed stacked against us. But after several failed attempts to secure roadside assistance from AAA and a local helper in Chiefland, Davis Towing of Lake City gave us a glimmer of hope with their "yes we can" attitude. From our initial interaction with Ms. Jessica at Davis Towing, our worries began to dissipate. She suggested transporting our vehicle to Lake City, home to the nearest Honda dealership from Chiefland, and provided a fair towing estimate. Despite the wait for assistance and the lack of response from other towing services or help from our road assistance company, Travis from Davis Towing ensured an exceptional service experience. Understanding and accommodating, Travis agreed to a last-minute change to another Honda dealership, Love Honda, closer to our family in the Homosassa/Crystal River area. Ms. Jessica and Mr. Travis from Davis Towing revised the cost accordingly, and we embarked on our over 90-mile journey. Their help on that chaotic Sunday afternoon was invaluable. The expense was justified by the safety of my family and the smooth delivery of our car to the experts. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Jessica, Mr. Travis, and Davis Towing of Lake City for their service and for affirming "yes we can". I highly recommend Davis Towing of Lake City...it would be great if you are able to work with Ms Jessica and have Mr Travis on your team. Be safe.
My girlfriend and I broke down near Lake City , FL a little over a week ago. We tried calling AAA and all local tow shops nearby, no one could help us. We were a long way from home and stranded on the side of I-10. When it seemed all hope was lost, we got a call from Josh Casey with Davis Towing saying he was on his way. Josh was the most helpful, most sincere tow guy I’ve ever met and he got us loaded up and helped get my car to a trusted shop only a couple miles away from our final destination. Josh is an absolute legend for helping us out, and an even better person for making us feel safe and taken care of. Can’t say enough good things about Josh with Davis Towing, give this man a raise!
Did not schedule towing with people only the dealership trade was for… just showed up and didn’t wait to be let in. Just drove through yard which truck was way to big for before being given permission. Tore up fig tree and peach tree as well as giving deep ruts and tearing up the yard to dirt.
We got our vehicle stuck on the middle of nowhere. They were super quick to respond, very friendly and professional. We shared our location on google maps so they could find us thankfully. We would give more stars if we could! Thank you!
Not personable or understanding when dealing with recovering my stolen truck and hoping my prescription medication was still in it. They expected me to pay a weekend fee to access my vehicle when it wasn't my fault it was in there. Even though I told them my seizure medication was in the truck, along with my ID cards and hoping my bank cards, they didn't care. It was all about the money. Not customer service or health. Needless to say I had multiple seizures and didn't get my truck back until almost 2 weeks later paying an outrageous storage fee.
I had gotten into an accident on a Friday night. They were the ones called to pick up my car. I was so frazzled with all the questions they were asking me. He just gave me a card of where the car would be and told me to come in on Monday and they would get all my info then. So I went in on Monday and gave my information then proceeded to get some of my items out of the car. Very nice people. Thanks again for being so kind.
10/10 experience!!! I was stranded out in the middle of no where and they came as quickly as they could, were extremely professional and made me feel as comfortable as I could. They drove out an hour and a half to get me, two hours to my destination, and then they had to return back. They made a bad situation not so bad. Thanks so much!
We live in north Georgia and broke down in Lake City during a family trip to Florida. Rountree Moore Kia in Lake City recommended we use Davis towing. I am so glad they did. We were an after hours tow and the sweet office lady said to make sure they knew not to charge after hours fees, etc. They were inexpensive and made things a tad easier on us being in that position. I would definitely recommend them.
Was very disappointed. Even though I was less than 5 miles from them it took them over an hour to get help. No one called, I called them to find out there was a delay. He did not wear a mask, personally I feel each person should do what your comfortable doing, but not if your a business. Your should take precautions. Will try not to use them again. Definitely investing in a device to carry to jumpstart my battery.
Trevor picked me up in a timely manner, was a safe driver and we had good conversation to pass the time. Was professional in all respects. I very much appreciated that everything went smoothly, got me where I needed to go safely and efficiently. Thanks again!

Charles Trevor is the kindest man who totally saved the day! He was a total gentleman who stayed out of my way while I had to pee squat-style on the side of the road. He was on time, efficient, and so wonderful. Definitely recommend this company!!
Although this was not an emergency, Davis responded in a timely fashion was very courteous and friendly. The technician, Todd, was efficient and seemed to be thorough, even checking the owner's manual. I was very pleased and would call them again.
OMG thank goodness for this company! Totally came to our rescue and saved the day!!! We were stranded in the woods and no other company would come help! My dog accidentally locked himself in the car. They came so fast we're beyond friendly. They got my door open in seconds!!!!!

I have used davis towing I can't tell you how many times I reccomend them to everybody they are extremely quick to get to you. Had to have my car towed from the town of suwannee to lake city with in 10 mins of getting off the phone with the dispatcher the driver called and the are always fair with the price and are extremely down to earth. I will always recommend davis towing to anyone traveling or not, they're the way to go.
Great service. They were at the car within less than an hour and even drove to my house to get the keys to the vehicle. Would recommend and will definitely be using them again.
