So went in for a trade in quote and was wanting to buy a car. I love the toyota brand. I meet with Andre and another guy and we went thru my trade in told them what I qualified for with my bank and a round about what I was looking for. They showed me a car in my range and I asked them to send me the information for the car thru email to discuss with my husband. I pretty much was ghosted and ignored by them and it was a very shame because I reached out to my bank to add my husband to the loan and got accepted a new loan and it was trippled the amount before. Wanted to work with this company and it was very shame they pretty much did me like this oh well your loss is someone else's gain. We went to another place and got 2026 beautiful new toyota Tacoma. Thank you so much not taking my business because you thought I didn't qualify for your business I ended up with better elsewhere.

This review documents a factual account of my experience with Lake City Toyota Service & Parts regarding a brake line repair. On the evening prior to service, my vehicle was towed to Lake City Toyota after a brake line rupture. The failure had already been identified by Mavis Tire in Live Oak, where the vehicle was placed on a lift and the damaged brake line was clearly diagnosed. Due to part availability, Mavis recommended towing the vehicle to Lake City Toyota. I scheduled service in advance with Erica, who confirmed a 7:00 AM appointment, advised that the required part could be obtained the following morning, and provided an initial estimate of approximately $800 ($102.48 parts, ~$683 labor plus tax). Prior to towing, a Mavis head mechanic directly spoke with Lake City Toyota’s parts department, repeatedly and clearly describing the failed component. Written documentation describing the damaged part was also provided to assist in correct identification. The vehicle was delivered the night before with keys deposited in the overnight drop box. At 7:12 AM, I received a text message stating that I would receive a video inspection shortly. No inspection video was ever provided. Between 9:13 AM and 9:35 AM, I attempted to obtain a status update via text and phone call. No proactive communication occurred. Upon arrival at the dealership at approximately 10:30 AM, I was informed that a staff member had only recently departed to retrieve parts — despite the vehicle being scheduled for service at 7:00 AM. When I inquired whether the vehicle had been brought into the shop, I was informed by the service manager that it had only been visually reviewed in the parking lot. Nevertheless, a staff member had already been dispatched to retrieve parts. At approximately 11:15 AM, a technician first physically inspected the vehicle in the service bay and confirmed the same damaged brake line previously identified by Mavis. At that time, I was informed that incorrect parts had been ordered based on Lake City Toyota’s internal interpretation, without first confirming the diagnosis through inspection. Following this delayed inspection, a revised estimate was issued totaling $1,368.11 ($269 parts, $953.74 labor plus tax), representing a significant increase from the original quoted amount. Given the vehicle’s inoperable and unsafe condition, and my need to travel approximately 1,000 miles, I authorized the repair under protest. Shortly thereafter, I was summoned to the service manager’s office, where both a service advisor and service manager directed accusatory statements toward me regarding the incorrect parts order. During this discussion, the service manager acknowledged that the vehicle should have been placed on a lift prior to ordering parts. It was then disclosed that this meeting was prompted by a one-star review submitted by my wife, and the interaction appeared intended to pressure us into removing the review. I declined. I subsequently requested a meeting with the General Manager, Bob Shows, at approximately 1:45 PM. Mr. Shows was professional, receptive, and appropriately addressed the situation. Following his involvement, the correct part was received around 2:00 PM and the repair was completed at approximately 3:30 PM (1.25–.5 hours labor). Absent documentation supporting an additional 2.5–.75 hours of labor attributable exclusively to brake line removal, preparation, or ancillary procedures outside the installation window, the billed labor total of $953.74 appears inconsistent with the work performed. Timeline Summary: Scheduled service time: 7:00 AM Actual inspection and start of repair: 11:15 AM Repair completion: 3:30 PM Original estimate: ~$800 Final charge: $1,368.11 While I appreciate the professionalism demonstrated by Bob Shows, the handling of this repair by the service department reflects significant procedural failures, inaccurate quoting, lack of timely inspection, and inappropriate customer interactions. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Lake City Toyota Service & Parts.

My experience with Lake City Toyota Service and Parts went from frustrating to outright unacceptable when a Service Department manager attempted to intimidate and bully me into taking down an honest review instead of addressing the issues that caused it. Let that sink in. Rather than fixing their broken communication, poor service, or lack of accountability, management chose to apply pressure and intimidation—an absolutely unprofessional move that speaks volumes about the culture of this dealership. If this is how they treat customers after the money is spent, imagine how little they care once your vehicle is behind the service bay doors. The service department itself was a mess: missed calls, vague explanations, shifting stories, and zero ownership of mistakes. I had to chase updates on my own vehicle, only to be met with defensiveness and attitude. No transparency. No urgency. No respect for my time. But the real line was crossed when management tried to strong-arm me over a review instead of doing the one thing reviews exist for: listening and improving. That behavior alone tells me everything I need to know about how this place is run. A dealership confident in its service doesn’t bully customers. A professional manager doesn’t threaten or pressure someone for telling the truth. And a business that values its reputation earns it—it doesn’t coerce it. I will never return, and I strongly encourage anyone considering Lake City Toyota to think twice. There are plenty of Toyota service departments that operate with integrity, professionalism, and basic human decency. This is not one of them.

Had 4 tires replaced but they left a screw loose in my suspension discovered by another mechanic. Have their work checked

We were on a road trip from Tampa to Georgia when our 4Runner broke down just outside of Lake City. I called the dealership and got connected with Matthew Rodriguez, who was super friendly and helpful right from the start. I told him our 4Runner was being towed in, and he walked me through exactly what to expect. He and the team got us taken care of quickly and back on the road before we knew it. If you need anything done to your Toyota, seriously give this place a try, they took great care of me and my wife.

I will never go here again they give me you an appointment & don’t get to you until 2 to 3 hours later. Customer service sucks every Toyota repair shop I have been to they come out to greet you. I have been wasting money coming here every 3,000 miles for an oil change when it’s every 10,000 mile for oil change & 5,000 miles for tire rotation!! If you are Woman they will tell you things wrong with your car that’s not!!!! I was told I needed brake pads & I just got them 2 weeks prior. I now go the Valdosta Toyota because I hate dishonesty

.. to the rescue! Nick and Chris, thank you for your professionalism and expertise! The battery on my '13 prius c died- what can I say? I got cold and inadvertently left the engine running all night... I'm a South Florida girl... (all true). Parker at Fast Hook towing came first to pick me and my car up in Lee, FL, (an hour away). As soon as I got there, Nick came out to greet me warmly, took my info, and proceeded to take good care of me. When I was all through, I left and came back bc the energy monitor looked "wrong"- no worries, Chris got in the car and took pictures on the monitor airing me of its proper function. Now them, the dealership I go to in S FL (Palm B Co.), is huge and has all this nice space with a coffee machine, kiddos room, and putting green among other really useless things to keep customers happy while waiting and waiting... what they don't have aside from these supermen, is someone who actually SHOWS you what's happening with your car, explaining as they go (and although I'm hard of hearing and, Chris, you talk kinda fast- you rock!)... I really wish my guys here would put in that kind of effort!! ... and so, I have my videos to show my home dealership. My rescuers- The Knights in Toyota armor! Thank you... Sincerely!

Service department staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. I had two Toyota Highlanders in at the same time and they took excellent care of them. Love the service videos to help me understand things I can do to improve my ride.

Service was excellent. They were knowledgeable, helpful and patient. They answered all my questions fully and kindly. They also offered options for service and payment that I didn’t know to ask about. I’d highly recommend!

Very professional service personnel! I received a video of the complete start to finish on my 4-Runner. When finished I received a call from Chad, letting me know my Four was ready! They had it vacuumed and washed, and my Four Runner was ready for pickup! Chad asked if I needed a ride, but I already had a ride planned. Thank you for a great experience at I-75 Toyota! I'll be back for sure!

This is by far the best place for getting my car serviced. You might pay alittle more, but it is well worth it!!!! Raquel is by far the best service advisor I have ever encountered. She explains everything going on with your vehicle. And has very good relations with her customers. Thanks so much Raquel ☺️

Been very happy with the last two services. The staff is friendly but professional. They are good at keeping me informed and seeing how I'm doing while I wait.

Chad is a great service rep. Very professional and caring. Appreciated the info and level of knowledge. Sadly the cost for maintenance, repairs and parts were way too expensive. Even the diagnostics was $200+, which sadly extended warranty did not cover it. I would suggest doing research online to look for parts and doing some of the service yourself.

Recently had an oil change at I-75 Toyota. I was greeted quickly by Service Advisor Chad Turner. I was told the service time would be around 1 hour. Was finished and out the door in 40 minutes. Chad kept me informed of the process and advised of needed and recommended services without pressuring me to commit to more work during the visit. He was friendly and professional. As always, the customer service waiting area was clean and comfortable. Excellent service experience.

5000 mile service for our 2024 Camry. Easy to get an appointment. Got in and out on time. When we purchased this car in December our sales team promised us that we would get excellent service when maintenance was needed. A promise kept! Great job I75 Toyota.

I am amazed at the service I got at I-75 Toyota in Lake City. I recently bought a used Toyota from a private seller. So I decided to take it to the dealer for an oil change. Ashley was so patient and kind to me, especially since I haven’t been to a dealership in many years. Also, the place is so clean. The waiting room is laid out in such a way that you can either sit in an area so you can watch TV or there are other areas that you can sit and quietly read or even work. The snack bar takes up a whole wall, though I didn’t go over there. The bathroom was so clean and beautifully decorated. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I love the video inspection of my car. Ashly printed out a list of things that needed to be done, but was not pushy about it. I will be taking my car back there for whatever it needs.

We were on a road trip when our car unexpectedly broke down (all lights on the instrument panel turned on and the car was shaking hard) in north central Florida at 345p on a Saturday. Fearing that most places would be closed, i called up this dealership that was 20 miles away to see if they could take us in to see what was going on. I spoke to service advisor Erica and explained our situation. It was already nearly four, and they closed at five, but made an appt for me. We backtracked and made it there by 430 avoiding highways. We were promptly seen, checked in by Erica, who listened to the issues, and got our car seen by the technician. Quincy came out within fifteen minutes to explain what had happened (buckled belt in rear tire), gave us a solution and some options. We chose to replace the tires, balance, rotate, all that stuff, and were out of there by 515p! We’re currently on the road and have been driving for nearly an hour and it’s smoother than when we left home! Erica and Quincy and the team at this dealership are awesome. Thank you for salvaging our day!

I’ve got a great team looking out for me,… Ashley & Quincy. I’ve been diligently informed as to the conditions of which to be aware without “salesman pressure” of a service rep or tech to do it before it’s actually needed. I appreciate that,… it’s just pure professionalism on the part of each. I traded an older Tacoma for the current one and did so with predecessor Rountree-Moore. I’ll drive this one another 100,000 miles and come see you then for another. PS: the shuttle service is also great,… thank you for that as well!

Excellent experience with I75 Toyota in Lake City. Raquel was my point of contact, a very thorough and timely individual. Although my car was delivered there by wrecker service, there was no emergency, as we have another family vehicle. They got on the job immediately and send me a video to review where the mechanic, Anthony?, showed and explained the issues needing attention. Well done team I75 Toyota!

Nikki in service was great. She was pleasant and very helpful. I did have an issue with sales giving me wrong info when I bought my car and only one fob, which I was still waiting to be mailed to me as I was told by sales associate when I bought my car…. Luckily I brought it up to Nikki who told me they had keys just had to be picked up there and programmed to car. Also prior to my service appointment I had spoke to someone in parts in January about touch up paint to pickup when I had service in February…well my touch up paint was either lost or given to someone else and none in stock, but parts is going to make it right and mail to me. So even though a few mess ups at least they are going to make it right. Thanks.

I-75 Toyota Tacoma owner. I have leased and had service completed on my 2021 and a 2023 Toyota Tacoma at this facility. The service department at i-75 Toyota does a wonderful job, and I have never had an issue with getting my vehicle in there on time. Their service is expeditious and thorough, and I really do appreciate and enjoy the video shared with me that the service department captures of my vehicle explaining how the vehicle looks, and what if any issues are noticed. I would highly recommend that anybody in the area that needs service on their vehicle visit i-75 Toyota ?. The people in the service department are very friendly and accommodating, and the waiting area is comfortable and convenient.

Chad did a fantastic job, as usual. He is knowledgeable, careful, considerate, and thorough. We greatly appreciate him! I believe it was Andrew who did the mechanical work. The video presentation was superb and helpful. What a great team. We trust them!

Last night I went in to see if I could get my oil changed. It was pretty late and my Service Advisor, Erica, was just ready to leave for the day. Thankfully she stayed about 45 minutes later to help me. She was very pleasant and helpful as always. I appreciate her ability to be personal and professional even when it’s late in the day. Since the new owners have come it has been so much more of a pleasure than it ever was. I now feel confident to recommend I75 Toyota to my friends.

I took our truck in for the 10k service and delivery of the second key which was not given to us at the time of purchase due to a shortage. When we made the appt, we were told it would be a couple of hours so we made plans to drop it off. Chad was super helpful and knowledgeable. He went far above our expectations and had the work completed in the promised time. We would go here again for future service.

Fantastic! I cannot say enough good things. They resolved and repaired damage that was done by another dealership, damage that could have been deadly. So Thank you! Very helpful, very detailed, and Chad Turner walked me through the entire process and took care of everything. I definitely recommend them and will be returning to them for my service needs.
