There are very few people in this world like Polo. I was on a several hour drive to see family. I was stranded in Lake City when my car's transmission wouldn't shift when trying to leave a gas station to get back on the interstate. Unfortunately, it was a Sunday evening, but Polo met me first thing Monday morning. He dropped what he had going to work on my car. He did reasonable low-level repairs in an attempt to get me on the road. He ran around town to get needed parts. Unfortunately, in the end, the needed repairs would be too expensive for the value of the vehicle. Polo helped me sell it and personally drove me to a car rental place. You couldn't ask for better service.

My jeep Cherokee broke down over Thanksgiving weekend while we were traveling to Georgia. Polo was very honest and professional throughout the process. He was able to find a great price on an engine and put it in for us the next week. He went beyond expectations to assist us and work within our time frame

Our car broke down on our way home from vacation. It was Labor Day, so almost everything in town was closed. We got a tow to this shop. Polo, the shop owner, took a look at our car and told us exactly what needed to be done. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to get the part that day due to the holiday. Both auto rental shops in town were closed, so we had to wait several hours for a ride to come pick us up. Polo opened his office to us and made us as comfortable as possible. He even surprised us by bringing us something to eat! He had the car fixed the next day, and was very accommodating with our arrangements to come back and pick up our vehicle. He charged a very reasonable rate for the repair. I can't speak highly enough of Polo and his shop and what a blessing they were to us when we were in a bad situation. I highly recommend Lake City Auto Repair for their expertise and professionalism!

Fair, friendly and fun. They saved my sorry self in the middle of a not so fun road trip. (not so great giving directions tho- bwahahaha)

Not disclosing another major problem with a customers vehicle is ignorance at its finest!

They broke my car door, and when we called and tried to talk with them. They hung up in my boyfriend's face.

Owner went above and beyond to get me out same day after power steering pump went out. Had to replace it plus a pulley a belt and hose. Price was definitely fair and he took the time for a couple of minor fixes at no charge. My vehicle found a new repair home!

The alternator went out on our minivan while driving back home to Iowa from our family vacation. It was after hours on a Friday, yet Polo agreed to stay late and fix it so we weren't stranded until shops opened back up on Monday. He was friendly, fast, efficient and charged us a great price. He even shook our boys' hands and talked to them. He gave them a great example of what it means to be kind and helpful. Thank you, Polo!!

I went to this place to have my Mercedes-Benz C350 worked on and Polo did an excellent job. I am going back to him for more work.
