Kurt at the service writers desk is awesome! He is very professional and funny! He really made the burden and frustration of my truck issues a lot lighter! Keep that man around because he is an absolute gem! Also the mechanic who worked on my truck. I believe his name was Chris. Even though it took a couple of visits to fix my issue. He worked diligently to get it repaired! There was little to no wait time when I went in. Other mechanics would've probably given up but he hung in there. Until he got the issue resolved. It's a older poorly maintained truck so he did his best. The same truck put me down a week later. My company finally put me in a different unit. Thank you guys for your professionalism, expertise and service experience!
Even when they're busier than a one-legged waitress everyone there is still friendly and courteous and they take time to explain things to you it's just a joy to take my truck.
My husband hasn’t had any problems solved with this place it’s been a long journey of bringing his truck in keeping it for weeks no communication on the progress it’s really frustrating having to go back and forth with these people about when to expect to get his truck it has cost us so much money because we aren’t working my husband company is a one man small business just starting out but had accident thinking bringing it to a dealership like MACK wouldn’t be any problem our insurance already paid them over thirty thousand dollars for repairs but we still have problems with them fixing things this second time around now going into our third week no truck and nobody seems to care I hate dealing with a company who doesn’t value their customers I would not recommend this company to anyone I’m just sick and tired of people and their personal attitudes on the job I wish the owner of this company contact me enough is enough
?Friends and I stopped? at the truck?? center as we were traveling to and from Georgia to look at some townhouses? the facility is extremely clean and wel? lit parking lot plenty of parking, Clean safe bathrooms and there were even two state troopers?♂️?♀️ parked on site made it feel even safer,???
Zero stars, Was told no Diego that it was first come, first serve, and oh, it's no big deal. we'll get you first thing in the morning. Paid for a wrecker to tow it there and find out. Oh, it'll be a few days before we can look at it.
I was in Jacksonville to begin with where there are dozens and dozens of mechanics, I could've saved the wrecker cost and stayed put.
After a few hours, I talked to the "A" manager and granted he was polite and understanding. However, he wasn't the manager of the shop, apparently, so he couldn't do much. None the less it's going to be a week at best, maybe.
I would recommend anyone who needs repairs done not talk to the service people that answer the phone, you'll likely be told wrong.

I don't think I could praise this service center any more than I'm about to. These guys were totally awesome. I tore the country due in Suzuki demos and displays and I was on my way to a gig and my truck just started losing power. Called Volvo uptime since I have extended warranty etc. they said the closest place was Nextran in lake City Florida. So I said put in a work order I'm heading there. Pulled into the site and went to get checked in, I was fully expecting to be sitting there for a day day and a half. One of the service center guys went and checed the truck in, he was totally cool, I went to my trailer to get something out of my trailer and noticed my truck was already in the service bay. My total time there was two and a half hours and they had a pull the valve cover delete a few solenoids on my fuel rail put a new wiring harness on my fuel rail aka injectors I believe, took it for a 40-minute test drive came back and I was good to go. Literally the best experience I've ever had with a service center. Made it to my Suzuki demo gig right on time!!!!
Arrived at Service when doors opened. Staff exceptionally courteous and professional! Had a Data link cable short. Having worked electronics tracing these issues is a ghost hunt. In the bay and out before my 10 hour reset completed. Chris is a honorary member now of Ghostbusters!! His commitment to search and identify the issue was outstanding. As well was his conveying found issues to this driver! Chris humble but deserving praise allowed the knuckle bump of gratitude from this Highway runner!

Poor knowledge as well, they spent 4 days and $1500 for a diagnosis on truck loosing power and they did not found anything. A road service guy found in 5 minutes that the turbo actuator was bad.
They also replaced my batteries for 700 bucks. 6 months later the "exide" batteries they put on are dead and no one wants to become responsible for the warranty.
Avoid this place at all cost
New review - things haven't improved since my last visit. Brought in a Volvo for a different company(at the new company's request) Had more than one issue. Brought it in Monday afternoon, it was done and I had it back in my driveway just after lunch on Wednesday. Not as big of a repair as the last time, but more items on the list to fix...
update, ignore the New review. Had the windshield wiper motor replaced (among other things)...went to wash the dust and dirt off the windshield this afternoon before hooking to my empty trailer...and you can hear the wiper motor run...but the wipers don't move.... un-freeking believable. Reached up from the ground and spun the nut holding the wiper linkage to the new motor off with 2 fingers of my left hand. What else did they forget to tighten up?
1st visit many years ago - I said avoid this place at all cost. 2 weeks for an mDrive transmission swap, and they had the transmission IN STOCK. Then it sat all day waiting for a test drive. If my truck broke down in front of their building, I would request that my truck be towed far far away. If I could give 0 stars I would...but hey, it's a Mack, there is a reason garbage trucks use Mack chassis for their trash trucks, if they break down, they can just push them into the pile with the rest of the garbage.
This is by far one of the best Volvo dealership and I recommend them, their staff and service are good . I took my truck there for service. They did what it was needed to be done and got me back on the road asap.
This people really work-hard to get you out in the road; I had a DEF SYSTEM problem that they fixed in 08/28/2020; they replaced the whole system ; oxygen sensor and wiring harnesses . Until this date no more check engine light malfunctions; and the truck is working like new.
I personally highly recommend this shop for any mechanical repairs.
The service desk; the technicians and parts department extremely friendly and pretty competitive pricing on labor and parts.
On 11/13/2020 I got a Deer Hit in Wisconsin; and I took my truck into the Body Shop of this location and get my truck fixed right on time ; the Body Sop Manager Mr Harold Bundy and Mr Mike Stratford make sure I was taking care properly; the Technician Mr.Pedro Cordero and the head painter Mr.Gary Honakir; did an amazing job.
Honestly this people and the rest of the crew make feel right at home.

Highly recomend this shop. Very fast service, diagnostics on state of the art level. Communication, professionalism, curtesy - everything is exellent 10 stars! We live in Sarasota, but will use this shop from now on.
Another shop that cant tell the truth to save they're life. First it was going to be a week then 10 days then oh we need another 2 to 3 weeks to get to you. All just to keep you quite bull s***. Will be avoiding this place at all cost.
Forgive me for I don’t know the service managers name this morning but he had my truck hooked up to diagnostics before the wrecker could disconnect it! In & out with repairs less than 4 hours! Group of guys behind the window not so friendly tho.... thank you to the mechanics & I didn’t have to spend the weekend here thank God.... 10/04/19
Took them a month to get our truck back and when we got it back we noticed there is grease stains on the inside of the cab and a cup holder broken!!! Very unorganized and find another place to to business with.... A very big disappointment. I am noticing they threw stuff togather and panels tore up
Every person that I encountered, that was an employee had as n attitude. They dont get in a hurry about anything. There was 1 person, it was the guy that corrected problem on my truck. All the others must have been going through that monthly deal .
Excellent service from the parts counter, and their prices are considerably lower than other dealers. It has been a pleasure doing business with these guys. I can't speak for the service department, but I hope they would meet the standard set by the parts department. I definitely recommend this place if you need Mack or Volvo parts.
