Did a online pickup for oil and a filter. The guy seemed irritated because he asked when I placed it which was hours ago, and it said it was ready 1.5 hours ago. He then just put my 5 items on the counter and didn’t say anything. When I asked for a bag he handed me a crumpled bag and made me put my items in. Horrible service. Go to autozone, I go there occasionally for my other vehicles oil and they’re super friendly and helpful.

Came in earlier today because my running lights were out. Bought some bulbs for only $24 and Buddy replaced them in the parking lot. Only waited about 10 minutes because the staff were working on two cars before mine

I came in with battery issues and a different store had told me it was my starter. Johnny did a thorough investigation and was able to fix my battery and recheck and Explained why the starter code would've happened with the lower battery. He took time energy and effort to help and it was so appreciative.

Came in to dump oil and Nick was the associate that assisted me and made sure I had anything and everything for my next oil change. Asked if I knew of all specials for oil changes and gave great recommendations for other car care options. Amazing and positive personality....Go To Associate!

I came with a problem... dead battery, a guy had to jump me. Nick was so helpful... he tested my battery and confirmed that it is bad and then recommended a battery based on my vehicle, needs a budget. I bought the Diehard premium and he replaced it for me... free of charge in like 5 min. He was super careful with my truck and very considerate.

Had to get car battery replaced and hood hydraulics replaced. Edgar was very knowledgable and installed both and took much care as if it was his own car. Gave helpful tips on how to maintain my car and battery. Staff in general at this location are very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be going here from now on.

Edgar helped me tonight with his knowledge of my headlights not working. I wasn't able to see while driving at night because my headlights went out. He showed me all the possibilities and said try these bulbs first and make sure you use gloves before putting them in. His knowledge of what to do and how to was very helpful and put my fear at ease. I am so grateful, appreciative and extremely happy that the outcome was a success. Thank you Edgar for being my hero when I needed you. God bless you🥰

I called the store to see if they had a replacement rear window wiper in stock for a car. The staff told me they didn't even have an option in the system. I easily found a proper choice on Amazon. In case the store cares to fix this discrepency, the car is a 2021 Kia Soul. I do appreciate the staff's effort to look that up.

Had issues with a battery that I bought from them a short while ago. The associate and manager were able to remedy the problem for which I'm appreciative for. Great staff and thanks to Buddy for all the help.

I had to stop here on 08/22/2024 after my car was leaking engine coolant! As I was driving to pick up dinner it began to severely jerk as if I were just learning to drive a manual! LOL What a WONDERFUL encounter to have been led to meet Edgar! From the time he saw me (as he was sweeping the floor prepping for closing) until the moment I left, he was such a welcomed help to me! He gave me recommendations to allow me to make it home safely and he went above and beyond to execute adding the necessary temporary fixes I needed. He did all of this while explaining each step to me 15 minutes before the store closed. I gained some knowledge about what possibly may be the issue, which I told Edgar I would bring up during my car repair appointment in a couple of days. Edgar is definitely someone I would ask about anything pertaining to cars, because he showed such enthusiasm and passion to be of assistance! If he ever opens a car maintenance and mechanic shop, I'd be a regular! I will recommend this location for his assistance alone! You're a gem, Edgar! Thirty years ago, I was referred to an honest mechanic. I have used this mechanic for these last 30 years because I know that he knows his profession and he will tell you the truth even when it is bad news concerning my repairs. I have referred many friends and co-workers to this mechanic because of his honesty. I say that to show why I go to this Advance Auto Parts. There are several auto parts store closer to my house but I go to this one because of the excellent service. Last night I drove up to the store and Buddy was working. Buddy is like my mechanic mentioned above. He is honest, shares his knowledge to all of his customers. I tell my friends and co-workers, if you see Buddy working, you know that he is going to give you the proper parts, and give you positive suggestions on how to make the repair work. He treats all customers with respect, will make you laugh, and you will leave with confidence on the repair that you are about to do.

I seldom write reviews. However the service I received on May 7 from this particular Advanced Auto was exceptional, I felt I must express my gratitude to Edgar and his supervisor, Buddy. I brought my car in to check and possibly purchased a battery. My car had failed to start the week before. I wanted to make sure that it is holding charge and a new one was not warranted. After testing my battery for its charge, Edgar also tested my alternator and starter to ensure they were in good order. He explained the entire process thoroughly. He could have easily sold me a new battery, but felt that a quick charge maybe sufficient. He removed the battery for a 30-35 minutes in store charge. He cleaned the battery, connectors and the entire area before replacing the battery back in my car. Since I planned on driving my car for an extensive trip. He also show me how to check all the fluids in my engine to ensure I have a safe trip. He spent close to 2 hours (minus the charge time) working with me and my vehicle. His time is greatly appreciated. Buddy, his supervisor was also very friendly and offered help as well. If ever I have issues with any of my vehicles I know exactly where to take them for service first. Keep up all excellent work Edgar and Buddy!! I’ll be back! 👍

My experience today was truly amazing. Getting assistance from Edgar, Buddy, and Denis with their customer service expertise was a team effort. They were patient and even taught me some maintenance tips which could save me money in the near future. They’re also big supporter of military service members and I recommend other active duty service members to reach out for assistance as well. Their team is the true example of what customer service is supposed to be like.

CoCo and Buddy, 2 managers at the Princess Anne Road Advance Auto location, showed incredible customer service during my visit at their store and I will always come back as a loyal customer. Most pleasant experience I have ever had in 43 years.

I know advanced auto parts is good but recently I had a bad experience . I was looking for one of service and I called prior to see if they can provide me the same. They confirmed me it can be done over phone and even reaching out to store, staff said can be done and waiting after sometime, manager came back and said it can’t be done. If you can’t provide this service they would have told me in phone upfront or during first interaction with staff in store. When manager was talking to me, I did said I came because you provided me confirmation over phone and there is no courtesy Sorry! from him and mentioned it can’t be done. I totally understand that some services can’t be provided but communication has to be clear and it shouldn’t be like this. Treat your customer like treating yourself in a nice way and be clear in communication. Even something happens and customer came all way to store, try to treat in a proper way and provide correct information. Am going to avoid advanced auto parts for sure in the future due to above mentioned incident. Posting review so that it can be avoided in future by Advanced auto parts team.

Had to replace my battery this morning and Dennis was incredibly helpful! Had me in and out within 5 minutes. There was another gentleman there assisting as well that I did not get his name but he was very helpful as well. Thanks guys!

Staff is friendly enough. Some are more helpful than others. Buddy is usually helpful, Dennis on the other hand is not worth even talking to. Overall not a horrible experience (I've had worse elsewhere). Prices are comparable to most auto parts stores.

My battery died when I was leaving work the other day. I managed to jump-start my car to get home. I knew the best solution was to drive directly to the Advance Auto near my house on my way home. Once I arrived, Buddy was available to test my alternator and battery. (The alternator was good, and the battery was bad.) Buddy installed my battery and took extra time to clean the terminals and even treated them to prevent/slow the corrosion from occurring again. I should also mention... It was a hot afternoon about 96° outside. Buddy was professional, courteous, and efficient in completing the battery installation. The installation was fairly quick, and they disposed of the battery core. (Note: They do wiper blade installation, too) I will definitely return. Even without the Speed Perks rewards buck email I received for my purchase. This is why I continue to choose Advance Auto and would recommend them to anyone.

I am a 74 yo widow who has very little knowledge about cars. I love this store. Had windshield wipers checked and replaced. Filled anti freeze and windshield wiper fluid with purchase. Amanda was very nice and helpful but this is usually true of the employees. I recommend Advance Auto Parts.

Given poor customer service by the store manager and sales rep. They were pretending as if they didn't price match. Even their own website had the item for a lesser price and they didn't want to honor advance auto price listing. I could've place the order online and picked it up in store 2hrs later but since I was already in the store I was trying to purchase it for what advance auto website had it for, and the two crooks which included the store manager tried to act like they never heard of their own price matching policy. Once I read and showed them their own policy the manager easily adjusted price. Why hassle woman and customers in the first place just be honest and fair to eliminate escalating issues and ripping off customers.

Very helpful staff. They have everything you need or can order it to help you out. Military friendly and they care about their neighbors. James helped me with prepping my car for long term storage and offered advice upon return to keep my car in top condition. Always appreciate people that go above and beyond. That is what makes repeat customers.

Disappointed. As a long time loyal customer, I'd never given a second thought to the quality of the parts I've purchased. I TRUSTED they were SAFE...until my last visit. We have 5 vehicles in the family, so I visit and purchase often. I bought parts online and went in to pick them up. The associate pulled my parts, but then began to make negative remarks about the items. His comments have me questioning the QUALITY and safety of the "new" parts they offer. They've lost a good customer.
