I will be honest, I never do this and Karen out but it is warrented. I placed an order online, and had a sale associate call me the next day to confirm the order. As odd as that was I asked about expedited shipping and they said they didn't offer that. I needed a battery by the end of the week and this order would take six days. I called back to cancel the order and the sales rep acted confused and transfered me to the manager. The manager, I think his name was Larry or something, proceeded to tell me I couldn't cancel, I would have to pick up and make the return in store. He had a condescending tone asking why I wanted to cancel, and when I asked what is the difference of canceling and making a return it to get a refund. I ended up canceling and getting a refund without making a return but it was asbthey say "pulling teeth." Maybe its just me but seems like an unprofessional manner of conducting buisness.
Batteries Plus Always has what I need and rarely is there a wait to checkout & head out. Employees are obviously trained to know their job. Been buying all types of car, bike & fob batteries for years & will continue to trust Batteries Plus.
The heavy-set young man in the store on 12/13/25 lied to my face by saying that only his manager, who was not in the store, could read the special code on the X2 battery when the young woman associate and I were trying to find the battery dates so that I could verify the age, and then test the two $500 batteries that I bought for my business. I made the mistake of believing him and figured I'd call back Monday as I was in a hurry. After I drove 1.5 hours back home, I easily discovered the battery was L-4, which is November 2024. He insulted me on two levels, one lying to my face, and two, assuming that I was too stupid/lazy to look it up later as I logged the batteries into my inventory. Fool me once....bye.

My visit began with attempting to replace under-counter lighting to match with others in the kitchen. It was far more comfortable Mo located than expected with multiple trips and calls to get it right which did occur.

Brought in battery one month out of warranty and failed. Employee would not do anything about it . You would think you company would help me out again it was one month out of warranty.
By location may change your experience. They had the batteries I needed in stock. They followed a warranty process I expected and replaced my battery. I put them on charge over night as they were only 80% charged. They offered to charge for me.
From the start to finish Larry, Makayla and Ralph were the consummate professionals. Very sharp, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Will come back and highly recommend!
I have an old camera that belonged to my late mother and the battery had died. I thought I had lost the picture. BIG thank you to Tiffany! She was able to find a lithium battery charger, and within the hour, I had the picture! She was knowledgeable, kind, and very empathic.
It would be great if the Sunday November 17 personnel would just sell me the batteries I asked for instead of giving me this story about Reeses law and how they can't sell me a watch battery. :(
Ordering online from Battery Plus was very easy. I was notified within minutes that my batteries were ready for pickup. The sales clerk was friendly and efficient. I would definitely order again from Battery Plus.
Used pay-pal for on-line purchase. Staff would not process refund for core charge because I did not have card to swipe. Stuck with two large - dead 12 V. batteries.
Overall a good experience getting car battery replaced. Price was competitive and with a 4 year replacement warranty. Most other sellers gave a 3 year warranty.
I needed to get my iPhone screen replaced and was able to make an appointment within 30 minutes. I dropped off my phone and was told it would take an hour. I was surprised to hear from them in 20 minutes letting me know my phone was ready. I would recommend Battery Plus to anyone. They have great friendly and fast customer service!
Bought a battery had it installed and it did not have enough charge to turn over the lawn mower. Brought battery back after having to buy another one since they were close. And all they will give is store credit after employee wanted to argue with me in front of other employees and customers. Contacted customer service and they said they would get in touch with the owners and call me back next thing I know the same employees comes to tell me they're calling the cops for me to leave the public parking lot while I am trying g to get ahold of the customer service again
Their warranty system is flawed. I bought a new car battery in March, and it was completely drained last week for no apparent reason. They charged it up and said it was a good battery still even though good batteries dont just completely drain. Meanwhile I'm out $200 because I had to buy a new battery so I could get to work while they ran their tests.
Truly amazing service. Clean, well organized, and the most friendly and knowledgeable staff! Really saved our vacation by fixing the battery casing in Mom's mobility scooter. If I was local, I wouldn't go anywhere else for battery or bulb needs. If I ever have a need in the VA Beach area, I will ABSOLUTELY visit Batteries Plus Bulbs. And no - I have no ties to the company at all. My service and experience was really that good. :)
Very Disappointed, this is a place I’ve had phones repaired at for the past 4 years. Aprox 6 repairs. I went in on Saturday because I had my phone’s battery replaced there a few months ago. Their warranty is 6 months. The nice gentleman ordered it said come back Monday. I dropped my phone off for the requested 2 hours and came back to be told the technician refuses to fix it. I asked to speak to the tech and was met with pompous attitude by said tech. His reasoning for refusing to fix it was because I charge it too much!!!!!!! I replied I charge it often because the battery dies instantly. At this point the other gentleman sensed my frustration and had proceeded to replace battery. The head tech replied with well we won’t be fixing it again. Last I checked a warranty is a warranty. I would be happy to come back in and have a face to face with the owner. I think it’s a shame when employees give their place of work such a bad rep. Hopefully this does not fall on deaf ears.
Went here just to replace the battery on our key fob and they went the extra mile and helped us with replacing one of the key fobs that we lost, all at an amazing cost!
We didn’t know they did that here and they paid great attention to our needs and informed us of the different services they offered.
They were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional! I intend to come back here to take care of any issues they can take care of!

I like to deal with local business but still have the convince of modern tech (email orders). Team is always professional, has my order ready, and right. I have nothing to complain about service or product wise. Keep it up and you have my business.
The good news was I got a good battery, for less than expected, and it was in stock. Customer service was satisfactory however, the new battery wasn't fully installed. It was placed back into the the compartment on top of the mounting brackets. I got home to find a loose battery held in place only by gravity and the two poorly connected leads which could've been damaged over time as the loose battery shifted around while driving. Luckily I had a few tools and was able to correctly install it at home. Overall, I recommend this place for batteries but not maintenance.

I have visited twice recently. I needed a battery for my moped, and while their website couldn't match the brand, the clerk was able to find the exact battery I needed in minutes, and they had it in stock and fully charged. It has been working great for several weeks.
So when I needed a new battery for my phone, I knew where to go. Again, they had the right battery in stock despite my phone being from 3 generations ago, and had one already charged.
The fact they open at 8 am is just the icing on the cake, as the easiest time for my to stop there is between 8 and 9.

I went out of my way to find a store that could program my key fob for my vehicle and found Batteries Plus Bulbs. I emailed the store manager, Derek Lewis on 5/7 for store #220 located on Virginia Beach Blvd to check the pricing of this service. I was told $60 and also advised the following directly from Derek: "Your car requires a factory pin code in order to bypass the security system. We can retrieve that code but need you to here to do so. Documents needed are registration and drivers i.d. to whom the vehicle belongs to." I went to the store today 5/9 for this service to be done only to be told by the store associate that they cannot retrieve the code because their program that enables them to obtain the codes expired. I mentioned that I had been emailing the site manager about it and the store associate stated the store doesn't email... Really???? This was 20 minutes of my day wasted. How do you as a store manager not know this information about the store you're "managing"? Also, the store associate suggested going to the dealership for the cherry on top. Duh! I know they can do this service for me but of course you have to have an appointment! I was willing to give $60 to Batteries Plus Bulbs for this service though. First and last time ever going to this place!
The crew here is GREAT!!!!!!!! Had my IPHONE 6 Plus fixed in under two hours for the best price hands down. My 8 Plus was cracked took it to Sprint in which they said it couldnt be repaired pay 275 (insurance) then Apple charged 179.00 these guys fixed my phone with no complaints problems or concerns at a fair price in under two hours. Hands down the best repair services in Virginia Beach area. Customer Service on point.
I had a very good experience with replacing a lost car key fob. I ordered it on line and received a 10% discount off a price much more reasonable than what the car dealer was going to charge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It took a few tries with the initial order getting damaged in transit and the 1st key cut not working. However, staff worked hard to get very quick turnaround with replacements and to get it cut just right. I will definitely return for another key fob here if needed.
Wow. Just wow. This was my first experience with a batteries plus bulbs store and it was amazing. I placed an online order this evening (12/1) for a car battery and called to find out about installation. The lady I spoke with (God I wish I could remember her name!) was so pleasant. She asked us about the vehicle and was hoping to find another source for it not starting since it was only a 2017. Sadly it was in fact the battery and after standing in the rain to do a check on the battery she proceeded to do the install for us. In the rain. And this was all right around closing time. I hated being that customer for her, but my husband is in the Navy and had duty in the morning and needed his car working asap. This lovely lady went above and beyond customer service and I'm so so thankful for her patience and kindness. If I could give her specifically a higher rating than 5 stars I would!

Went in to Virginia Beach BLVD location to price a car battery. The price was reasonable, but what impressed me was the knowledge and professionalism of the staff. I only went in to price a battery, but Patrick's knowledge and professionalism convinced me to give Battery Plus a try. I was in and out of the store in 15 minutes with a new car battery that was professionally installed. Battery Plus even uses a memory saver while your battery is being installed so you don't lose all your car settings. Wow! I didn't expect that...Very impressive service!! Thanks Patrick, you did a great job!!
I needed some quick help during a break and they went above and beyond to assist. I wasn't aware they physically replace car batteries for you with purchase, as part of their service. My set up was not exactly the easiest, but Patrick happily took it on, and with the quickness at that. A pleasure dealing with Patrick specifically, and the rest seemed like a friendly bunch of folks too. Highly recommended!
