I have a 2018 Ford Mustang GT with lot of work done to it. No one in my surrounding area could get this car aligned went to numerous shops to get it done. Was told I had to spend a ton of money to get it to where we need to be. I called LIVAuto and yeah, it’s 2 1/2 hours away from my house but boy am I happy I made the trip. I may have spent more than I was planning to, but it was still a lot less than it would’ve been to buy fabricated parts to get my vehicle aligned perfectly. Georgio and Damian Got me right and now my car is tight and straight. That was also the first time ever that I got to go on a test drive to make sure everything is good. Thanks again. Hope I don’t have to see you guys again but if anything happens I will make the trip to see them.

The guys at LivAuto are the GO-TO. They get things done, educate you as best as possible and make sure your vehicle is A1 when it rolls out. My new alignment helped my ride comfortability so much it feels like a new car!

The shop works on all cars but I have a modified vehicle and most of the area can't help with that,livauto has a great staff and does great work,had tires mounted and balanced and recently had brakes and rotors put on,they are willing to work with you even if your bringing aftermarket parts for them to install,very happy with this shop.

Let me first say this was the best experience i've ever had at any mechanic. Full engine replacement and had zero issues!! These fellas know exactly what they're doing and communicate very well! I will be coming back for sure. Hopefully not soon ha ha ha ! Highly recommend this place!

I brought my K swapped MR-S to Livauto to have an alignment and Dyno tuning performed on it. I'm very happy I went with them. They kept me updated and informed throughout the day, and the work performed was done to a high standard. I will definitely be taking my vehicles here in the years to come!

They have had my car for almost 8 years for an engine build. 1992 mr2 turbo. Long story short they blew it up and has been dodging my calls and has done nothing to help me get my car back and give me my money back. Stay away. They do not do good work and has ruined my car. Now I have to take them to court. 17,000.00 in cash was given to them and they have totaled my mint condition car. They are selling for 20 grand They also knew that my ttops were leaking and left it outside so they interior smells rotten. And they placed all their tools on top of the paint while they worked on it. Come to find out, they used my money to build his girlfriend car that also had an mr2 and had her car built and done in less than 6 months. All I got were excuses. Now they ignore me. STAY AWAY!!!!! They will do crappy work then charge you for it

This shop was able to get my car up and running without a hassle. Their prices were reasonable and the people were pretty cool. I’m glad I was able to get my car ready for the weekend.

I took in my mazdaspeed3 for some work under my carmax warranty, and they were great to work with! they kept me updated, and tried to get my car back to me as quickly as they could, even when carmax was causing some delays.

Brittany the receptionist is super sweet and the mechanics did their job ! as a first time costumer, not only will this be my go-to shop , but i’ll also be recommending it to my family ! <3

I met the team at their old shop in 2018, they were the only knowledge base shop for my vehicross. Fast forward, to 2023, need my engine replaced (dealer recommended) in my 2010 ridgeline but James and the crew, recheck my rigdeline , replace the timing belt and toll me the truth...job well done

I recently came in to the shop to have my vehicle dyno tested. I was told that it wouldn't take long to put it on after one of the guys came back from a test drive. Completely understandable, I was told at most an hour before it's thrown on the dyno. Well I waited and talked to my buddy there in the meantime, well about 3 hours later they finally pulled the original car off the dyno and started to do mine. The process and friendliness was great but the wait time was a little horrendous for 10 minutes of work. Will still come to have services done but I hope the wait time gets better.

You know they’ve always been my go to performance shop. They have always helped me with whatever I needed done. They are really good with community with their customers if anything comes up. Highly recommend 10/10

I came to LIVauto for a transmission flush but also had my oil pan replaced as well. I was very happy with the service. I liked that i was treated with an attitude of respect and professionalism and also because my car was finished by the end of the day. I will definitely keep LIVauto under consideration for future repairs and services. Thanks so much.

Do not take your vehicle here! They do not know what they are doing. All they do is patch work. They will also input the information incorrectly in their system so if you go back they will let you know they weren’t the ones who did it and ask you to pay AGAIN in order to fix it. They are also very unprofessional and rude. The staff will speak to you as they please and nothing comes of it because the owner is participating.

Super happy customer here. So I have a 2002 Honda S2000. I ended up buying a differential that was from a newer car and they modified the differential so that it would fit in my car and it works amazing and was able to get my car back the next day!!!! Also they helped me replace my electric power steering module free of charge and I now have power steering again. The part cost me 200 but IM FINALLY BACK BABY

Initially loved the shop, turned into a huge mess. I gave them my 350z, and specified when it needed to be done by. Multiple times. Cant stress that enough. I said I needed it done in about a five week timeframe. I was told everything would take three weeks to complete. Cool. Nope. I ended up picking my car up the day before I needed it. Brandy had to come in on a Saturday morning to give me my keys. In the entire five weeks, there was an insane lack of communication. "oh we will send you pictures" "Oh we will call you" here and there. Never once got any photos or phone calls. I always had to call and ask how things were going. Meanwhile, National Speed up in Richmond is sending my friend photos every hour, every step of the way giving him peace of mind and helping him understand the process I was completely left in the dark. Not to mention i'm 99% sure they blocked my phone number at one point, so i used my girlfriends phone and miraculously it worked! So, physically going to the shop and reminding them, i have an event coming up i need the car just wasn't enough. When I picked up my car, they weren't able to do the initial tune I was told i'd have, paint marker all over the car, and with a brand new clutch about to make a drive to Michigan I was very let down. But, I pushed that aside as people make mistakes. So i decided ON THE SPOT to give them another chance. I needed some small things done to my 98 240sx. Biggest being engine mounts. I picked up the Z to go on leave, and left the 240sx. By the time I came back two weeks later, still no word. Had some parts issue come into the mix where they ordered the wrong part, I already paid the invoice but weren't able to issue a refund. Only "store credit". But considering any shop owner can fluctuate the amount of money and "time" that goes into a vehicle, I highly believe that money was just straight up taken from me. So, I call again later to ask about my 240 and was told its ready to be picked up. How convenient. At this point ive literally forgot that i own the car, and called out of the blue and my car is ready? I pick it up, and theres black marks all over my car. Like someone has been throwing tires at it. Whether it is a 98 240sx, or a 2018 R35, nobody's car should be treated like that, so I was highly upset. I got called back because they "forgot to put in the engine mounts". What?!?!? After going BACK and telling them about the mysterious marks, they offered me $500 off of a new paint job. The worst paint job i've ever seen in my entire life. My TE37's are COVERED in primer. My dad rattle canned his Porsche 944 and had better results. I didn't want to go that route and have it properly done but here we are. Paint all over the windows, headlights, tail lights, and hand prints on black plastic on the car. Insane. I texted pictures to brandy hoping for any type of resolution. Maybe even for just the wheels. "I told James". Nothing since, and honestly don't expect anything. Ive given this shop over $10,000 of my money, and I have been left severely disappointed. Twice. Now I feel shame to go to cars and coffee, but ill be at every one for sure, might as well. Recommend National Speed. They're also opening a shop in Norfolk here soon.

This shop is downright amazing. They do great quality work and have an amazing staff on hand. I've been having issues with my car lately and I called around and visited a few shops in the area with not many could help and a few refused to help me due my setup. They had openings for me and were able to accommodate me and my schedule which was much appreciated. They provide much more services than I expected. They do exhausts, alignments, window tint, mounting and balancing tires, tunes, custom fab work. They are truly a one stop shop and I look forward to getting more work done from them in the near future. They definitely earned my business and I'll be referring my friends here for sure.

I went to this shop to have my snorkel lights swapped out of my grill for my 2021 Dodge Charger. The place was amazing, price was great, and the customer service was incredible. Jivan did a fascinating job working on my car, it was cool to get to know both Brandy and James as well. Not only did I get my car service I end up with new information for decals, vinyls, as well as ceramics coating. I really appreciate the above and beyond treatment. I can not thank them enough! I even left out with anniversary presents for the wife! Really a one stop shop!

Wanted to get eibach lift springs installed for my vehicle. Jan and the team at this location got the job done. Installed springs and alignment. Good communication and good quality of work. Whenever I want some thing done to my vehicle, this is the place I go to.

My first time here because my other mechanic was closed for the week and my State Inspection was almost a month overdue. This please has a great reputation for working on performance cars so, I decided to trust them with my pride and joy, an ‘01 C5 Corvette. Jann was super-thorough, did exemplary work, and took really good care of her while he was doing his best to sort out a stubborn stocking headlamp cover issue. He replaced inner and outer tire rod ends (one was close to going out), put a great new set of Falken Tires on her with an alignment, replaced a turn signal light, and one of the driving lights that went out. Also gave her an oil change since it was about due for one. The point is, Jann and his crew went above and beyond. The receptionist was very courteous and really nice. This is now where my Joy Car will go from now on for any issues. LivAutomotive Performance has earned my business as well as my respect.

Highly satisfied with the service here, from the receptionists to the mechanics. I came here to get some aero parts put on and everything was taken care of quick and professionally. I appreciate the mechanics walking me through and asking for my input before completely installing the parts. I look forward to coming back for other auto services and I recommend you take your car here as well!

Brought my car in for a simple intake swap. I brought my own part in for them to do. I would of done the job myself, but am moving to hawaii so all of my tools and jacks have been shipped. The job should of been 45 minutes at most for someone who has never done it before or has little experience. I specifically put on the request sheet to also flash the car on the access port to stage 1 plus 93. First the job was 280 dollars for 45 minutes of work, which is insanely expensive. Secondly they did not flash the accessport after installing the intake. Now it wouldn't necessarily hurt the car since it wasn't pushed hard in any way with them getting it out of the shop, but anyone who understands tunes would of definitely flashed the car before even moving it. They only got two stars due to the fact that the intake seems to be installed correctly ( I hope so for such a crazy price ).

Great Professional work done here! from something as simple as getting your car serviced or drastic as installing a engine. This is the place to get your work done on your high performance JDM car. Check out James and his crew those guys are real cool and know there stuff

Don't try to schedule anything with them. Called the day before to verify my appointment was still good to go. Was told they didn't have room for me on a lift. I guess it's first come first serve here. Zero communication as well. Good luck.

Literally cannot fix a single problem without causing more. My wife and I had aftermarket Lamborghini door hinges installed by them onto our 2017 Camaro SS, and PAID $1,000 FOR IT (only because nobody else would do this procedure)!! The first time we picked it up, one of the running lights were out and badge wasn’t lighting up. We took it back and left it overnight to be picked up the next day. (1.5 hour drive away driving two vehicles there and back each time, really frustrating) picked it up with an airbag light on the dash. Was told by them that ‘the Chevy dealer will clear it since we don’t have a scanner new enough for this car’ Chevy said it automatically clears all error codes and lights automatically, and even reset it just to be SURE. Nothing changed, so we brought it back AGAIN. Picked it up the next day one more time, to now not be able to adjust rear view mirrors or roll down the passenger window... we are fed up with this shop and have had to call and schedule all of this and drive over 300 miles total back and forth for errors that THEY CAUSED PUTTING THE CAR BACK TOGETHER. It’s garbage work and I can’t believe we paid that amount and got what we got. For $1,000 I was expecting minor issues that could be fixed with ONE TRIP back to the shop AT MOST. But this will be the 4th time to this shop and at this point we might just pay for a REAL auto repair shop to fix this. This is a nearly-brand-new car and now has more issues than would have had 50,000 miles down the road. This is absurd and unprofessional. The techs don’t communicate with the customers, only the front desk, which means you never get to find out what’s being done to the car and thoroughly understand what is going on. Do not come here. Unless you have a cheap car you don’t care much about. I also told them to call me back when the tech ‘comes back inside’ and never received a call. They’re closed now so I’m stuck with these issues overnight and probably will resort to fixing it myself. Which seems like what I should’ve done the first time. As a aircraft mechanic I could’ve done a better job than these dumb you-know-what’s who can’t seem to work on anything from this country. “Goodbye $$$$ hello more problems” should be their real slogan

Ordered a full k20 swap for my MR2 and was told I needed to pay 60% upfront which totaled $2,800. After waiting months and countless back and forth emails with the owner I received the motor mounts that looked like a high school students shop project. Invest a few minutes researching different MR2 forums and you will find this is a common occurrence among other victims of the same scam that trusted thousands of their hard earned dollars to this shady shop. I give them one star only because there isn’t an option for zero. Do your research in the forums beforehand (which should be the case regardless) and save yourself the anguish, you’ll be glad you did. Liv, Your website states "At Livauto we do everything passionately, putting 100% effort into our work. We stand behind our products, as they are crafted at their finest." What I received (and countless others received) was scrap metal with flaking spray paint, the motor mounts didn't even have bushings. After countless back and forth emails, as you stated in your response, it was clear to me that you were not interested in providing a quality service. I still have the poor excuse for motor mounts you sent me, it's not too late to redeem yourself if you're truly serious. Besides, your work is unmistakable, it's not like you wouldn't recognize it, after all it says LIVauto all over it. As for your attempt to disparage my reviews "all over the internet," I posted my experience twice, once here and once on Yelp, I didn't even try to hide my identity by changing up the post, I literally copied and pasted and I see that you’ve adopted the same technique. Every other complaint you saw were different people. I know, I was surprised to see all your disgruntled customers too.

Told me that there was something wrong with my radiator and valve cover. They “fixed it” then when I took it to a place who actually cares about their customers and actually know what they’re doing (after being ignored at liv when I came back after they obviously didn’t properly fix my car) I was told the car was too messed up to fix. Instead of having and kind of value, they charged us 500 dollars knowing it wasn’t worth it. Do not go here, do not trust them. They have no morals and only care about taking your money.
