Under the new ownership, this shop is turned around a hundred and eighty degrees. Their service is timely and performed very professionally. There are prices of reasonable and accompanied by friendly service. The management and employees make you feel at home. For complete vehicle care, I highly recommend the shop
They are so helpful and friendly. My car was completely broken down not turning on & the original quote was higher than I could afford so I only asked for the most expensive thing. They were able to fix everything that was wrong & give me an incredible discount for way less than I expected. I truly appreciate the people working here & I would definitely go to them again if I need my car looked at. Car now runs beautifully and I dont have any worries about it anymore.
Good folks. Efficient and friendly. Provide frequent service reminders. Since I do some of the routine items myself and keep a log of maintenance performed their reminders are helpful.
Cape Henry Exxons team of friendly mechanics are a trustworthy and reliable business. I know that my car needs will be taken of quickly and well, as they have been in many of my service appointments in the past.
Mike that works up there is very unprofessional and rude for no reason. You can’t ask a simple question without him getting an attitude. They also try to scam you to put low quality tires on your vehicle and then charge you for premium tires. Then when you get a state inspection they try to say everything under the sun is wrong with your vehicle to try a squeeze money out of you. Do not recommend going here and I know multiple people that have encountered the same problems especially with Mike.
Great shop! This place is my go-to for inspections and routine repairs. Friendly staff, thorough work. They give you a heads-up on recommended maintenance without high pressure upsells. Bonus: I can usually grab breakfast at Bay Local next door and my car is ready by the time I’m finishing.

They worked hard to find the issue with my vehicle. It was mis-firing. The mechanic called me to tell me the issue was not resolved with the first repair they did and that they would continue to find the issue. And they did!
Although I live in a very nice neighborhood, I woke up to three of my tires being slashed. Cape, Henry Exxon had me up and running before I even missed my next appointment. Thank you.
Arrived at 0745 for a state inspection. Several others were in line ahead of me. They did get my car in pretty quickly. Unfortunately my vehicle needed more work than anticipated. Mike patiently explained what was needed to pass inspection and also suggested some needed work I was unaware of. All work was completed in just a few hours. The final bill was as quoted. As painless as it can be!
Great communication from Mike and his guys. I called and explained my problem and he was able to get me back on the road in no time at a super low price. My new car guy. I have already sent a friend to their shop and he is pleased as well. Quality work at a fair price.
Jim and his team do an excellent job. The quality of service and the level of customers service will exceed all expectations. We have been using them for all our vehicles for many years. With 7 kids and 3 generations of family here we have a lot of cars and Cape Henry Exxon usually has us back on the road within a day regardless of the issue and at a very reasonable price.
Great place and great people! Dropped my Honda off for inspection. The next morning I had a list of required and suggested tasks available. I picked what I needed and in 30 minutes paid my bill and was again in my now inspected car with new windshield wipers!! Great service. Larry Valentine
Would NEVER recommend these guys. They failed my state inspection because of ball joints then tried to charge me 1100$ to fix it. I took my vehicle to 3 different shops, and each of those shops said that there was nothing wrong with my vehicle. I have tried to do business with them twice and and each time there is someone there with a piss poor attitude. Save your time and money and go to somewhere else, somewhere that isn't going to try and take your money on something you don't need or screw you over. 12/10 do not recommend
Mike and the crew did a great job on my 1991 Dodge Stealth once we had finally located the correct part. Then they tuned her up. And she is running great!!!
We're really pleased with the service and repairs we've been getting at Cape Henry Exxon! Mike has been doing an excellent job of maintaining our 2012 Transit Connect and our 2003 Mini Cooper. This time, the compressor on the MINI's air conditioner had a leak and had to be replaced. After Mike found the freon was low, he kept us informed, added the freon, established there was a leak and where, told us it needed a new compressor and the price. The price was fair, the work was done in a timely manner and the communication and service outstanding. Stephen, who ensures the paperwork is all in order when we drop the car off, is always very cordial and professional. We are very pleased to have Cape Henry Exxon in our neighborhood!
Great neighborhood service station for gas, inspections and oil changes. Mike the manager nice guy to talk to and always gets you in and out. Had tires done as well and it was right about what you pay at the discount tire places. Mechanics will chat with you as well especially if you bring in a pizza at lunch time while dripping your truck off :)
