I went to get a replacement tire. Although I told the guy what I needed he insisted on telling me what he thought was best. Seeing the potential that he might actually be right I gave him my tire and left. Came back in the agreed hour and my tire hadn't been looked at all. They were busy. I agreed to come back for the tire the next day, and as it would be he could not fix my tire because it needed to be replaced, and he did not have the size I needed to replace it. I did experience good customer service and the people weren't rude or unprofessional. But I wasn't listened to, and ended up wasting my time. At the end of it all they referred me to another tire shop that got the job done.
My father took my tire to Brian because it had a slow leak causing us to have to add air every couple of days. Other places suggested just buying a new tire, but Brian found the leak and repaired it with no problem. Thank you so much for your knowledge and expertise! I appreciate you!
Brian has been straight up with me every time over the years. I have bought tires from him and had some repairs done to all my trucks at one time or another. It is a small shop with a big heart.<br>An honest guy!
Awesome place. I almost didn’t make it in fact I may have been a min or two after 5(closing time) but the guy(Bear)could see I was on complete flat and no hope of making it anywhere else so he went ahead and did replaced mounted air up and on the road they were super reasonably priced and friendly I would refer them to any one in need and I’ll be returning with my boyfriends car to have some mechanical work done!!!!
Brian and Greg are extremely dishonest people<br>I took my car in to get the cooling fan replaced and when I drove it out of the shop half of the hoses were not connected and it was leaking coolant. I brought it back to them and they claimed that i broke it as soon as I drove it away and Brian was very nervous when I confronted him about it<br>This is one of the worst shops if not the worst shop in memphis<br>I recommend people to not even think of this man as an option
Great customer service! Unable to arrange to have tires put on during normal business hours and they worked with me to help make a college student’s car safe again! I don’t think the kid realized the dangerous condition his tires were in. Thank you Ellendale tires! Highly recommended by me…. If that has any weight in your tire shopping:)
Brian and the guys are just awesome!! They are so knowledgeable about the cars and Brian is so HONEST!! I can't say enough good things about this place!! We are second generation customers and we won't take our cars anywhere else!<br>Thank you Brian!

Brian is not only good, he’s honest. A lot of mechanics would just continue to take your money and fix what’s wrong with your vehicle but Brian actually suggested that I not put any more money in my old car. I’ve been taking my cars to him ever since.
Brian has been my mechanic for over four years. His integrity is stellar. I bought my Honda Odyssey from him and feel safe on the road. Brian is our mechanic for life.
I've used Ellendale used tire back when Tommy, Brian's Dad ran the shop. Tommy was true to his word and Brian's a chip off the block. Brian is an A1 mechanic and I trust him to do any work on my car. I will never take my car anywhere else that he's able to repair. He's a 1 man show so you nay have a weighting time before he can get you in, but that's okay by me. An honest mechanic is worth there weight in gold.
I have used Ellendale Tire and Auto Repair going back to when Tommy (Brian's Dad) was running things. I trust him with anything, if he can't fix something he will refer you to somebody who can. He often has a wait time because Brian is a one man shop, but it is always worth the wait. I send him customers all the time, they become life-long customers as well.<br><br>Highly recommended!!!
I trust Brian (the owner/mechanic) to tell me the truth about auto repairs. He will tell you what needs to be replaced/fixed and why and also tell you what can wait. He never tries to sell you on repairs you don't need but he will tell you what he recommends if he thinks there is something else you should get done at a later date and why it's important WITHOUT using confusing shop talk.<br><br>I had an alignment shop tell me that a much needed steering repair was going to be $800 and, after calling around, I found that price to be pretty much the same but never heard lower than $600. I called Brian and he told me what parts I needed and to find them online. I found them on Amazon for $150 and he installed them for $150, saving me $300-$500!<br><br>A friend of mine had a dealer quote him $1200 for A/C compressor installation. He bought the part online for $400 and Brian installed it for $200, saving him 50%!<br><br>You may find a place closer to you, more convenient, who can do it today (Brian often has a wait because it's just him), but I promise you it is worth your time (and money!) to take it to Ellendale Used Tire and Auto Repair.
