These folks are useless. My car was towed by a third party tow company. Upon attempting to recover my car, nobody would tell me where the address of the towing company was. No resolution at all other than "You'll have to call back". No way to locate this tow company.

Not helpful at all. Car was repossessed on New Year’s Eve for everything straightened out with finance company only to find out that the car had been loaded up at 8:24 am and was sent to an auction 2 hours away. The auction is claiming they don’t have the car and the tow lot is claiming they don’t have the car so I just wasted $2300 on a car that can t be found. Very unprofessional and rude. Would not recommend this company to any body, including financial institutions. Now I will be reporting the car as stolen and we will see where that goes.

My car was towed and took to the granite city location. When i received my things back since i got my car, my back plate that had the sticker was missing. I called to report it and noone seems to know what happened. Its sad that a business cant have reliable trustworthy people...

Beware of scams. Got a call from their number while they were closed. Gave them 2 stars because that was their point value when I looked so I didn't skew the results.

They are some con artists. They repoed my car and when I gotten everything straightened out they say we only do appointments. Now my car is being held for 4 days, because they want more money out of people. Im gonna get in contact with the BBB.

O the repo man who towed my car told me once I get everything taken care of with my bank just come and get my car next day between 9-3. I took off work to get everything straight and called this tow company to verify my car is release and I can come get it. These jokers said yes its released but you can't pick it up today or tomorrow but maybe Monday. So instead of paying $90 for admin fees and 1 day storage, I have to schedule an appointment for Monday (4 additional days of unnecessary storage fees) and pay $165. So now I have to miss 3 days of work while my car just sits there.

I was initially concerned after reading several reviews, but my experience was very positive. Ms. Juanita was extremely helpful in assisting me with retrieving my vehicle. Upon arrival for my scheduled appointment, the wait time was minimal and the staff I encountered were professional and courteous. In my opinion, many negative experiences stem from poor communication. Approaching business matters with respect and professionalism often leads to better outcomes. My overall experience was smooth, efficient, and handled with care.

Got the release for my vehicle yesterday morning but I had to wait until today to pick it up. I got notifications all day from my onstar saying my door was open. Got my vehicle back and my armrest was ransacked. They didn’t even bother to put my stuff back in after going through it. Was missing $240 bottle of Chanel cologne. Don’t leave your belongings on their lot.

Has my heart medicine in the vehicle they refuse to let me get it and ended up in the hospital due to this. They will be hearing from my lawyer soon! Along with my medical bills!

Their website is horrible, you can't schedule an appointment online like the recording instructs you to do when you call them, you can't reach anyone by phone after you can't get anywhere with their website who then in turn tells you to call the number, and they don't call back after you'ver called the number and it repeats your number and tell you to hit the star button!!! Are you sure this isn't the IRS???

First of all they claimed not to have the vrr, which they did. We called GM Financial and they sent them another one. Upon reclaiming my vehicle there is a chip in my windshield that was not there before and they broke an item of my personal property that was in the vehicle. Honestly I get you have a job to do but someone's stuff should come back the way it left.

Tried to get my vehicle on a Friday (same day) & was told it wasn’t processed yet after spending over $100 to get there (I live over an hour away). Made an appointment that Monday morning to retrieve my belongings so I could get my wallet and pay the leanholder only for me to return and need another appointment to actually get my vehicle. So I’ll have to take off again, pay for more transportation there, and pay a $245 storage fee that grows by the day. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy

They won't assist in getting a copy of the release to you and won't assist you if you're not the bank. Most tow companies in KC including this one always have someone on standby. This company will make you wait regardless of the steps you take and the manners you use.

Wow this company is the worst from top to these bottom dwellers. Stole a watch and cash out of the vehicle, would not return items unless i signed for them first (completely illegal) and denied my claim. Suing in small claims. They have every obligation to return the personal items in a professional manner, and they were extremely rude, dismissive and hard to believe they are able to stay in business.

Wonderful company. Very polite and professional. Office staff will provide you with your personal property as soon as they can (within minutes). People need to understand this is a repo company. You didn't make your payments an your bank had the vehicle repo'ed an not this company just taking it. You need your stuff they have no issues. Trust me they don't want to store it.

Having to give up a car is an extremely difficult decision and can be a crazy process which I unfortunately learned first hand this last week. The one thing I can tell you is that Lee and Sean were insanely respectful, kind, and professional with our recovery. Obviously they don't have a say in "if" the car is recovered (and I do hope I never have to see them again lmao) but they definitely went above and beyond to make sure the process was painless and was in no way disrespectful to my family. If you find yourself in this situation, call the company, communicate any concerns, because these guys gave me the same respect that I gave them.

Trashiest place ever; you have to go to a house type window to settle up, would not remove the obstruction from the windshield that they put there, I have a hard time imagining why any reputable business would do business with this dumpster.

I called the day before to sure all documents were received and was told yes. When I got there they refused to release my vehicle. My lien holder sent all documents and even called, they still said they didn’t have them. Waited 1 1/2 hours before they finally “found” the documents. Woman was rude and very unprofessional.

I can tell you that I had the most pleasant experience with Untied Auto in trying to get my vehicle back. They were extremely nice and friendly. They not once showed any kind of attitude towards me. The guy that picked up my car was very polite, friendly, and caring about my car. After I got my release from my lender it was extremely easy. I saw lots of bad reviews and the company I dealt with was nothing like what the other reviewers said. Yes if you screwed up it’s your responsibility to fix it and they are just doing their job that they were sent out to do. Some are rude and some are not. If you just clam down and let them do their job it’s not bad.

This company is trash. After a week of waiting for my vehicle. Ive received a cancelation for for me to pick up my vehicle. The representative was very rude and did not want to help at all. I had to ask for a supervisor because of her unprofessionalism. I want to give a 0 rating but the lowest is a 1.

These people are thieves. They repossessed my husband's car this morning with all of our stuff still in it. We just moved here from Kansas 2 days ago and hadn't unpacked all of our stuff yet because we have a newborn. Her $600 crib, her bassinet, her formula, diapers, wipes, stroller and my wallet with my ssc, her ssc, my ID and our credit/debt cards are in there. I have been on hold since 9am and it's 1pm now they come at 3. They won't answer. They stole all of my stuff and there's nothing I can do?? This is ridiculous

The lengths they take to get your car towed is easy but when it comes to getting it back is a weird game they play with a lot of inconvenience no customer service and zero hospitality for their clients. So when you call they apparently don't have access to the information you need so you have to call a number they give you and that number transfers you to another location to give a confirmation number once you get at hat you call back the original number to give them the information they could've given you in the first place.

I see a lot of negative reviews so it’s only right to share positive feedback. My car was towed last night 12/28/22. After getting everything straight with my finance company I was given the number to UAR. The system automatically requested to give me a call back. I received a call back within an hour from a rep name Diana in the release department. She was very polite, knowledgeable, and overall excellent. Initially I thought this was going to be an all day process between the finance company, UAR, and the tow yard. My first call was to the finance company at 0900 and I had my car back in my possession at 1315.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. The initial situation was caused by me, but when I payed the outstanding bill on my car, and it was released by the finance company, United operated by appointment only. The earliest appointment was over a week after the car was released. I am sure they are doing that just so they can soak you for hundreds of dollars more in storage fees. I cannot believe business practices like that are legal. They run a scam, and they soak people for a lot of money. Garbage company. I would give them zero stars, but you cannot post any reviews until you give at least one star. They got another freebie.

I went here after their closing time because Google had the wrong times. I was greeted by a gentle and sympathetic worker who was about to close up. He listened to me, made several calls, and got me my car within the hour. I know many people might not have good experiences here but I did. My belongings were all accounted for, my car was in the same condition, and I was taken care of very well.

Followed me home and trapped me in my own driveway. I assume looking for previous homeowner's car. Driver stated they were looking for (previous homeowner's name) and refused to give any other info. Called the cops on him, and that's all the info I have. This is entrapment! I'm in MO, why the heck are you operating outside of TN?

They damaged my vehicle while towing it. The window was broken, the door handle was broken and the sunglasses holder was ripped out of the ceiling. I filed a claim over a week ago and today, I received a "denial" because there was lack of evidence to prove they broke it. Here's your evidence! This company is a disgrace and should be shut down.
