It's all right sometimes for here and there scrap however sometimes they won't give you interchange unless you ask for it so just double check you're a seed to make sure you get your proper change
I took copper to SA recycling. The guy working there tried to steal it by labeling the copper as “Tin” . I quickly told him to give it back to me.. Never again will I back to SA recycling. If you are a person of color do not go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I repeat don’t go there!!!!!!!
Reasonable , very fast , staff was beyond helpful . They hold copper for 5 days but I believe all of tennessee does . I will return and will recommend!!
Well I read some post before I went there and I couldn't believe it . We took aluminum cans in and everything was going fine until my husband went to get paid . They gave him $7.00 My husband raised his voice and said is that all . The man paying him said that's it . My husband told him he had over 100 pounds of cans and the man told him he had paid him for tin and nobody told him he had aluminum. Well he still didn't get paid right but the $7.00 went to $96.00 but it should of been $108.00 . It seems like they try and pay everyone for tin instead of what they have . You better watch them , I think he knew what he was doing the whole time !
Awesome experience. Wonderful people. Very helpful. Josh even helped me get a truck rear end off my trailer. Everyone was so friendly. I highly recommend coming to this place. They are the type of business that goes up and beyond to help you.
On 12 Mar 26 josh assisted me in backup my trailer in the dumping area , he assistance greatly reduce the time that I was wasting and holding up others waiting. Thank you Josh.
Great facility, instructions were very easy to follow. Josh was there wit good customer service. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get paid from scrap metal. Love this place.
From goolsby and rye appliances. Everyone is helpful and friendly. And Josh is a hard worker always busy doing something even when its not that busy there. I have seen him picking trash up around the lot, leveling gravel,etc etc.every business needs workers like him.
Friendly and helpful staff. Josh was so helpful with bringing us baskets and taking our empty bags for us because my boyfriend was the only one with gloves. Greatly appreciate him and his help.
Lack Of Phone Response. I am a fellow registered Dealer here in clarksville and had someone steal tools off my property. Tried to call here and they have my business number blocked. Unprofessional considering I am trying to help a fellow business but I guess they prefer to have thieves on their property.
If i could rate less I would. They don't pay for a whole car If you don't have the engine bolted in. Also if the car is partially stripped they don't pay you correctly either. They should pay by the weight like everyone else not screw people over. Will not recommend or be back.
DO NOT GO HERE WITH YOUR COPPER. I sent my foreman and a few guys on my crew to take off our left over scrap from the job. Thank God I sent them with the wire that still has the jacket on it first and not the expensive stuff because they had a load of mostly #12 tray cable and a mixture of other tray cables #12-#18 all together 1643 pounds. This scrap yard first reduced to 1225lbs first and they gave them #2ICW 30% which is bs to begin with tray cable has a thin jacket and is very easy to recover the copper from. My guys came back with $502.25 and then I looked at the receipt......... .41 cents per pound. I thought low ball they would give .90/lb but never in my wildest dreams guessed they would pay .41/lb. Could it be because my guess didn't speak English well and they knew they wouldn't know any better?
This was supposed to be a bonus for my guys working so hard to get this job done. I'm just floored at the greed. If you value your time and want a FAIR deal do not use this place they will rob you.
Went here for years. They have new owners now. Had truckload of misc metal. Rotors, steel, aluminum. Three sheets of tin. They rang whole load up as tin. Got me good. Will be going to Guthrie now. Guthrie put a big billboard up a street down on hwy 41A. LOL.
