Kodiak the manager at the manassas store today around 12:30 was unwilling to assist my grandmother with putting her battery in that she purchased and picked up. Per the info you all have publicly available on your website, it is advertised that any battery purchased through o’reilly auto parts can be installed by you guys as well. Kodiak is not a good fit to be a manager, he gave my grandma an excuse about how long it would take for him to help her replace her battery and when she showed him that there wasnt as much for him to do to replace the battery, he made a terrible excuse about how long it would take. Even still, my grandma, a patronizing customer offered to wait the hour he initially quoted her. After she agreed to wait he denied her assistance furthermore and made another terrible excuse about how he had too many people to help, there were 4 cars in the lot, one of them were his car so there was no way he was too busy to help. Also, right after he denied my grandma assistance he came outside to help someone else and spent time with them. Due to this experience, neither she or I will every shop at ANY oreilly auto parts stores again and we will not be recommending you all to anyone.
I drove from quite far away to the nearest O'Reilly's because I understood from their advertising that they would the lightbulb in my car's headlight. Well, they said they couldn't for my car.
Had what I needed in stock for 2018 Ford where several other parts dealers had to order it. Not good when you are already in the process of a repair if you had to wait to repair. Tha is O'Reilly

O'Reilly Auto Parts is the best! I run an automotive repair shop in Woodbridge and when it comes to price, quality, and customer service the cannot be beat. Kodiak is the manager and he knows how to run a tight ship. I use them on a daily basis and couldn't say enough good things. The other big name part stores make me feel like an inconvenience, but I know that this O'Reilly and it's staff are truly happy to help.
I called before hand, because the location is 45 min away, they affirmed me that they had the part I needed in store, the next day I decided to go, after a very long drive, I arrived just to be told they don’t have this part in stock, and never did, upon hearing that I called and got confirmation yesterday, the entire staff went silent, and did nothing. I wouldn’t trust the words of these employees or this establishment, I definently recommend autozone or advanced auto parts, as they atleast have the courtesy to tell me that their excuse for an establishment doesn’t have the parts in store…
Karen did an excellent job checking the battery and altenator in my car yesterday. She was very prompt ,polite , and courteous. Also helpful in point out a couple of other items I need to get checked
Luis and the team saved my Halloween. My alternator gave out on 95 and I coasted into the O'Reilly parking lot. The team diagnosed my problem right away and jumped me multiple times to get me to a local mechanic. I thought I'd miss trick-or-treating for my 5 kids, but Luis even gave me a ride to get home in time! They saved me hundreds of dollars in towing and uber expenses and helped save one of my favorite holidays with little kids. Professional and kind. What more do you want?!
One of the untrusted store in the US, selling one thing and charging you for another, when you return that back to the store waiting for 30 min and get nothing. To be honest i really don’t like this store and will never compare this to AutoZone
I have an older car with bayonet-type wiper arms as seen in the bottom of the photo. It is difficult to find wiper blades that fit this antique wiper arm. The J-hook wiper arm on the top of the photo is more common.
The Trico wiper blades that I had purchased from O'Reilly in Blue Springs, Missouri, were loose and not adequately wiping the rain from my windshield. When I arrived in Woodbridge, Virginia, on July 9, 2022, I stopped at the local O'Reilly to return the wiper blades and to find more suitable blades.
When I asked for a refund or exchange, the evening shift supervisor became combative and did his best to ensure that my experience will be unpleasant. He reluctantly agreed that I had a valid receipt and warranty from O'Reilly in Blue Springs, and challenged me to pick out replacement wiper blades. When I found two bayonet-mount wiper blades in the store, he insisted that he can find better blades and proceeded to open two sets of more expensive wiper blades that did not fit my wiper arms. When I successfully installed one of the bayonet wiper blades that I had selected, he belittled me for needing to read the installation instructions and insisted on installing the second blade without reading the instructions. During his installation, he managed to break one of the only two bayonet wiper blades in the store that fit my car.
When I told the shift supervisor that I'd like to drive home with the one intact wiper blade, he insisted that every exchange or refund of wiper blades had to be done in pairs. He then removed the remaining bayonet wiper blade from my car, processed my refund and left me to drive away without wiper blades at night in drizzly weather.
Another employee in the store was a young Black woman. She was professional and assisted in processing my refund. She apologized to me for the way I was being treated.
Luckily, I was able to drive across the street to Advance Auto Parts, purchase new wiper blades and make it home safely. I wish the best for the young woman at O'Reilly in Woodbridge. She is a wonderful employee and I will return to O'Reilly if she is available to assist me with my purchases.
Came into the store today (6pm). While looking for an item, an interesting conversation ensued.
“Fu*k White people.” This person, assuming the manger, was having a conversation with his girlfriend over the phone. The person making the comment and his girlfriend continued the make racial comments and started talking about buying weed.
The black lady behind the counter was professional and tried changing the conversation.
Please do better and be mindful of your surroundings.
Don't waste your time with O'Reilly! I called this location to confirm that they can install a battery in my vehicle and they acted as though I was demanding the world. After getting the runaround, I was told that they won't install a battery in my car because they consider it a, "difficult model to work on." I drive a very ordinary late model Kia and the battery is literally held in by a single bolt. I ended up going to AutoZone instead and the process there was very straightforward.
William at woodbridge location! was amazing !!! excellent customer service!!! It was pouring down rain and I really needed windshield wipers replaced however I did not know how to install them. He was happy to help me even after having to switch out the adapters for the new blades to comply with my vehicle. For free ! Will be back here for all my auto parts needs !
It should be a self-checkout line. All customers do not see parts and will not take an hour to check out. Or at least one
Representative that is for checking out other customers that do not require assistance. The prices are truly expensive and selection is not slim.
William was awesome! My jeep had misfiring spark plugs on a road trip and they fixed me up in no time. Best crew around and all the store crew was very knowledgeable and awesome as well👍
Thank you to the young man who helped my son at this store tonight!! He had lost his bolt in his front break caliber, we had stopped at another auto parts store, and they really did not act like they wanted to help us, so we found this O'Reilly Auto Parts. We are not from the area and THANKFUL FOR ALL YOUR HELP IN FIXING HIS TRUCK!!! I highly recommend anyone who needs auto parts, please go to this store!!!
