I have always gotten very good results at Koons, including service and parts. They have diagnosed problems accurately and provided excellent service in repairing them. Since I live fairly close by, their pick up/drop off service is a real time saver.

BLUF: Vehicle sat at service center for 7 hrs with ZERO work being completed even though service appointment was scheduled. Would not recommend this service center unless they improve their service management and customer communication. Scheduled appointment and brought vehicle in approx at 7 am as directed. Was told work would be more than a few hours so used shuttle service to hang out somewhere while work is performed (I don't live in Woodbridge). Called for status update but no response. Checked service status using automated system which stated expected service completion at 2pm. Arrived after 2pm to be told vehicle wouldn't be done until around 6pm. Told them that was unacceptable and asked for work progress. Found out vehicle had not even been worked on yet, so asked for vehicle to be returned to me and left. Do better Koons.

Unhelpful. Borderline rude. Still not sure if he was slow or messing with me. I walked up and said "how's it going" he said "great, what brings you in." I told him I wanted to make an appointment for some recall work. He then paused and said "how you doing?" It threw me off, since we'd just done the small talk bit, I told him fine. He got my details and ran my car and said there were no recalls. I explained I was coming from another garage that said a repair I was trying to get done was under recall. Then the service rep wanted the name of my mechanic instead of addressing the problem. Told me I had no outstanding recalls again. I was surprised, since I had spoken to a woman from Koons calling to tell me I had a recall. I had complained that the last time I was in for a recall, they recalled the fix for the recall within 6 months. He said "I guess you need to tell her to put it on your oasis the next time she calls." He printed out a report that said I had no outstanding recalls. Normal service centers, at this point, would begin discussing getting the repair done normally. This guy couldn't wait to shuffle me off his desk. I guess he needed to trim his immaculately sculpted beard to more closely resemble a shovel. Shovelbeard. That will be his name in my head from now on. Shovelbeard at Koons. I called Ourisman up in Manassas when I got home. Very friendly. Explained everything I needed to know. I do not actually have an active recall. This should have been a simple bit of education that turned into a car repair instead of the weird back and forth clearly indicating Shovelbeard had more important tasks to attend to than helping customers at his customer service station.

My service agent did a wonderful with communication and willingness to assist me with my situation. I’m very disappointed with Ford basically forcing me to pay for repairs on an existing issue with my transmission. Ford extended warranty department declined to approve repairs because they stated it was a preexisting problem. Used car sales put a car on the lot with a $3800 problem. I was charged $1800, that was my portion to pay for a preexisting problem. I should’ve paid anything, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I took my vehicle to replace all fuel injectors. This is a major task. Everyone did great job from primary diagnostic testing to final repair. Nickia worked with me to get my vehicle serviced. She gave well clear details about the repair. She got the parts on time. I got my vehicle back fixed and on time. Nickia kept updating me by sending me text and informing me about the status. Great job everyone. I will definitely come back

Nice to see some familiar faces. Had a transmission concern and Kevin and his team listened to the issues I was having and were able to find a cost effective fix when I was expecting the worst case! Took my truck in on a busy holiday Monday and they had it diagnosed, serviced and back to me in 2 1/2 days.

I arrived at my scheduled time for maintenance service. From check-in to check- out, we experienced excellent top notch customer service from Sachin and his team that made our experience pleasant. James is the best customer service representative/service advisor at Koons Ford. This is the very first time I’ve been in constant communication receiving updates about my vehicle versus having to call or even visit the dealership with the hopes that someone provides information. James was not only informing on the status but he did do so in a very caring and customer service oriented way. From now on I am only requesting James as my customer service advisor for all services at Koons Ford. Keep up the good work.

Andrew was amazing. He was patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate. As a disabled veteran with a traumatic brain injury & PTSD , I struggle to communicate & my need to understand - he took the time to explain what was going on with my vehicle, how they were going to fix it & explained what they did after it was done, & what to potentially anticipate in the future. I had my van towed to Koons terrified I was going to be left out of the loop, made to feel small/stupid, and then slapped with an insane bill. I left feeling confident in the work that was done & safe for future travels.

I was disappointed when I arrived at my 5 30 appointment the day prior and was told the mechanics went home at 5pm. Also when I arrived for new appointment the next day I walked in and no one addressed me asked if I needed assistance and tried not to make eye contact for at least 5 minutes. Terry (I think that news his name) heard me mumble man! As he was walking back into the office and asked if I had been helped. He checked my name and stated I was his client. There was an issue with the print out, but I eventually got one. l wasn’t given an idea of what services were completed and the status of the things inspected. Just keys and. Go.

Very professional and polite. Explained everything. Nice facilities. Got a great in-house rental - easy process. Major transmission work but expertly done - my 2018 feels and drives like brand new! Was thinking Toyota for my next car but will now consider Ford because of this experience.

I was having powertrain issues with my 2020 Ford Expedition. All of the local shops were booked out several weeks, but Koons Ford was able to get me in same day, conduct the diagnostic, and let me know the problem within 24hrs. Alberto Jimenez was my service coordinator and I could not have asked for better service. He was always prompt with responses and never tried to push extra service on us. Provided us with the facts, professional recommendations and always pointed us in the best direction. He even went above and beyond to ensure we were placed in a rental that facilitated the needs of our handicapped daughter - top notch service across the board! And all for a reasonable price. It’s no secret that I have had many different service managers at Koons Ford in Woodbridge. But, my last experience was one of the best. Helbert was the careful service manager that got my F150’s transmission back in working order and back on the road in record time. I truly appreciate his efforts and his commitment to status updates and communication along the way.

I’m in the service department quite fluently because I have (2) different Ford vehicles a personal (1) and (1) provided for me through my company. She shows care and concern equally for both. Kevin was so sweet and just so good at just make me feel relaxed checking in on me and got my car working better. I put in the parts that I needed and fixing the elite parts so thank you kevin so much. I I highly would recommend coons Woodbridge Ford dealership for any work that needs to be done on your car and they have a very comfortable waiting room and the other gentleman who helped me at the beginning was also And Rebeka, who got this appointment was very nice. I love this dealership. I was treated so so nice and my car is running better today thank goodness.

Aimee is an above and beyond service advisor who kept me in the loop with constant updates and a speedy response time and was able to answer all my questions. i had taken in my car for service and she made the appointment process easy and quick took no more than 5 minutes and didn’t miss a beat when i asked other questions regarding my vehicle! overall she is efficient and easy to work with and would recommend her to anyone looking for quickness and convenience.

I appreciated that my appointment time for our RV was kept and the wait time for an oil change was reasonable. Would have loved the attendants to tell me my inspection was due that month so I could have killed two birds with one stone. Regardless the texts giving me status updates was appreciated. Koons of Woodbridge gave us by far, the Best car buying experience we have ever had. The entire process was smooth and seamless. They were very straightforward with Car pricing, were very reasonable, and did not play silly games that many other car dealerships like to play. We knew exactly what we wanted coming in and they made sure that we got it. The Expedition Max is a beautiful luxurious ride! As a first time Ford owner, they have left me wanting a Ford for my next vehicle. I will certainly be back and will be referring friends and family looking to buy a reliable vehicle.
