The VPS team has been wonderful, and their communication is always on point. They are responsive and professional.

Visitor parking at Forest Park (Prince William County) is enforced by a towing company using photo documentation to track overnight stays. My vehicle was towed for exceeding the two-night limit. Since then, I’ve observed that enforcement does not appear consistent across all vehicles, and I am currently seeking clarification and documentation from the HOA/management regarding how the policy is applied. I recommend that anyone parking in visitor spaces carefully review posted signage and confirm enforcement practices in advance.

We’ve had a great experience with VPS towing. The team has been incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive to all of our needs. Communication has been clear, response times are quick, and they truly go above and beyond to provide excellent service.

Towed truck when it was parked for one night only at the visitor parking lot in my apartment complex. Waited hours before finally getting it back and charged $300 for less than a night stay at impound. Unreliable and scammers

Stay smart and protect your money. Tow companies count on people being too stressed to question them — don’t let them play you. Three in the morning, 5’3 115 pounds soaking wet little black girl trying to get her car having to go back-and-forth with two grown men after paying them $280. Be careful and be safe. as a young black woman if your car gets towed here I would call the police before showing up. It’s not a safe place very sketchy.

Just by looking at the reviews of others I can tell that the owner , manager, or workers in this towing company are so rude and not willing to change their attitude. They don’t give a shit about you they take your money and act aggressive.

Called last week to tow my Honda. They were very nice to get me a quote, but then I just Called and now they switched up the story and said they can’t. This review would have been different if they would have been honest from the beginning. What a waste of time.

There's never anyone here they tow cars then go home in get in the bed this is suppose to be open 24hrs two times I came here and had to wait for them to come from home to get my car common sense should have them to believe if you tow cars in the middle of the night working ppl are probably going to be looking for their car that am

Utterly disgusted by the attitude of whomever manages this facility. They claim they go around checking for cars that have been parked in spaces for more than a couple of nights and tow away. FALSE, I have seen cars parked in spaces for more then the nights I was told by this women and yet the cars who have over stayed their parking in the visitors spaces are in tact. Scammers.

Predatory towing company in the pockets of local officials. They swear they can't see the remaining time on parking meters or in the apartment complex paid parking, but you will get towed within 60 seconds of expiration. The owner will talk over you on the phone and call you a liar or an idiot, you will not receive any customer service. VPS damaged our vehicle after towing it three times in one month. If your car is taken by this company you need to get legal representation immediately. Look up towing laws, they will not provide you with the documentation required for them to complete the tow, they claim they do not have dash cam footage, and do not have anything besides a receipt they will provide you. Do not leave this VPS's towing lot without taking videos and photos of your car. Doing so is what will likely award us victory in court, because you can see and hear the damage done by their tow trucks.

Nothing but legal theft. If youre disabled and cant park correctly, even by a tiny bit, youll get towed by these people. The pricing is outrageous as well, who in this economy has 230$??? No one. Only get 2 stars for the receptionist being nice and agreeing with my grievances.

My car was towed and I went to claim my car the attendant was out of the office in a sketchy looking car vaping and asked me to come over like a little child after my car was towed inappropriately from my own car spot. I asked her why would I approach her in that car and she stated why would she be in a dark office when there’s sun out. She was basically rude but all I needed was my car so I paid her no mind. They’re a joke and unprofessional.

My car was towed by VPS early morning for not having a sticker. I called to retrieve my vehicle they told me I could come anytime. Me and my husband showed up 15 mins later paid and drove away. Staff was actually really nice. I learned my lesson never again!

This company towed my vehicle that was parked with a permit in my Apartment. Because they illegally towed my vehicle, they had to “No charge” me when they realized their mistake. I reached out to corporate for some form of an apology for wasting time in my day and I got an extremely passive aggressive email from “Roy” who explained he would tow my vehicle again. Stay away from this company!

VPS is by far the best towing company I've worked with as a Property Manager. They are reliable and always willing to do what's best for the community and our residents. Highly recommend!

Respond to my emails! There’s no other way to contact anyone here at this hole in wall tow truck company. This place damaged the transfer case in my car. The woman at the tow yard said that all of the warning lights would go away after driving the car but my transfer case has internal damage because they dragged it instead of putting it on dollys. The dealer said the transfer case is damaged

Despite the unfortunate situation of me getting my car towed, the two men driving the towtruck were very kind and so was the man over the phone. My car was left undamaged, and I was able to pick it up less than an hour from when it was towed. Hopefully I am not a returning customer.

Shady business practices. A relative parked overnight at the apartment complex that I live in. They parked in the VISITOR parking and PAID thru the online pay service. Towing company claims they entered the plate number wrong by one digit so towed it anyway even though the parking was paid in full. $200 towing fee for parking that was paid for. The lady at the tow company (supposedly owner) extremely rude and claimed it didn't matter that the parking was paid. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

It was a bad experience that my car got towed, but I must thank the lady I dealt with today (7/18/24). She has been helpful to me since I contacted her in the morning. I went to pick my car up in the evening. I informed her of my arrival time. She was waiting for me outside, and it didn't even take 10 minutes for me to retrieve the car. I hope someone will recognize her great customer service. After all, there are good people even when you experience unexpected situations.

Was inappropriately towed. The space was not available for purchase of parking. Once arrived was informed that I had to wait 10 minutes for my vehicle due to a shift change; Which in fact took longer. Customer service was horrible upon arrival. Was informed it cost $230 for my vehicle to be released. Was then informed that I will have to take my issue up with someone else. Poor company!

Shady shady shady ! Towed car and when called said can’t retrieve car because there was no one on the shift . Had to wait 12 hrs to get the vehicle. Don’t know if it’s even legal to do that . Charged $200, took a picture of my credit card . Said it is for dispute purposes. Not sure if they are PCR compliant to keep pic of credit card on phone . Made us wait in a dark alley with no lights till 11.15 pm before he decided to magically appear from inside and was rude and behaved like he had nothing to do with the company. He was just an employee. Unbelievable. Had a baseball bat next to the desk . I don’t know who he needed protection from. I was intimidated by a bunch of things. The car had couple of huge scratches and I just wanted to get the car and leave. Very shady is an understatement

VPS Towing is a business that needs to be eradicated by the Better Business Bureau due to their inability to conduct their operations in a responsible manner. Their business model is truly a reprehensible one. This is represented by their inability to tow vehicles in a safe manner, completely disregarding the type and model of the vehicle, towing vehicles at hours were an emergency or medical necessity could occur disregarding life and health. Moreover, avoiding responsibility when they inflict damage on property. I will ensure VPS towing is accountable for in a court law for the damages on my vehicle. It is a shame that the City of Woodbridge, Prince William County and the State of Virginia allow this company to continue their irresponsable operation. This shame is extended to every single Housing manager conducting business with VPS Towing.

Zero stars if I could. Posting this for good measure. Please read the VA laws on towing fees. The TOWING fees are regulated and can be set by locality, but their other fees aren't. Do not let them lie and say they are. The info below is correct as of 9/17/23, and you should view their website to make sure it all lines up. I got charged an extra $10 for nothing listed on their site or below and their paperwork says they towed my car on a FRIDAY. Shouldn't have been charged for that either as it's neither listed below nor on their site. Second, the professionalism is nonexistent... getting into a personal vehicle to drive back to the gate is ridiculous. Driving in that vehicle with children and a dog in the car is disgusting and ridiculous. ___________ § 46.2-1233.1. Limitation on charges for towing and storage of certain vehicles. - No hookup and initial towing fee of any passenger car shall exceed $150. For towing a vehicle between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. or on any Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, an additional fee of no more than $30 per instance may be charged; however, in no event shall more than two such fees be charged for towing any such vehicle. No charge shall be made for storage and safekeeping for a period of 24 hours or less. Except for fees or charges imposed by this section or a local ordinance adopted pursuant to § 46.2-1233, no other fees or charges shall be imposed during the first 24-hour period. - (Expires July 1, 2024) In addition to the fees authorized pursuant to this section, towing and recovery operators are authorized to charge a fuel surcharge fee of no more than $20 for each vehicle towed or removed from private property without the consent of its owner. § 46.2-1233. Localities may regulate towing fees. - Localities in Planning District 8 and Planning District 16 shall establish by ordinance (i) a hookup and initial towing fee of no less than $135 and no more than the maximum charges provided in § 46.2-1233.1 and (ii) for towing a vehicle between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. or on any Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, an additional fee of no less than $25 and no more than the maximum charges provided in § 46.2-1233.1 per instance; however, such ordinance shall also provide that in no event shall more than two such additional fees be charged for towing any vehicle.
