Easy online process of scheduling our new tire installation for a Thursday night at 5pm. Dwayne at the Glen Burnie location is awesome, nice, and helpful! Him and his coworker were able to get the old tires removed and new tires installed in an hour! My husband and I were SO impressed! 10/10 service!
Do not go here they says they have all these different size tires in stock and available today. Literally waited outside for them to open for 30 minutes for them just to tell me they literally have none of these tires in stock.
DO NOT COME HERE!!! Didn’t honor military discount, didn’t fix my issues, oil change took 2 hours. Marvin was taking personal calls the whole time and was disrespectful when asked what was taking so long. The old man doing the oil change moved so slow, way to old or to lazy or something. Will never return
Perfect experience. I ordered tires online and made an appointment. My car was taken back immediately and new tires were installed in 45 minutes. Staff were friendly and didn't try to upsell. I paid exactly the price that was stated online (which was lower than most other shops).
Made an appointment for an inspection, walked in to nobody at the desk to tell me what was expected (waited 10 minutes) Drove around to the garage to see two guys on a smoke break and two guys working. The guys got off their break and I went back inside where I was still ignored. I'll go somewhere else for my inspection.
Too much to explain after having my time wasted for 2 and a half hours...but saw workers drinking beer on the job?...which would explain why they didn't see the other nail in the tire which was marked in both spots? with bright yellow chalk...told me it didn't need to be patched but I do need new tires.asap.. Tires were fine just the nails were in it. Didn't charge me just said it was fine but it's wasnt...wanted the nail pulled and tire patched.
Just got tired of the headache and went to buy two new tires for the back from somewhere else. I wish I would have saw the reviews BEFORE going here cause the service sucked and very dangerous. Just a waste of time.
Horrible service when I walked in no one said anything then told me it a 5 hours wait and that I need appointment so I asked for appointment then he gonna say no same day appointment. Pep boys is a horrible place to get service done
Uninformative, dismissive, and uncaring. Had my car dropped off the previous night after a breakdown, left the keys and waited to hear from them. All I heard was that the codes indicated an issue beyond their skills to repair and that I needed to take it to the dealership. I got there to pick it up, asked for the printout of the codes and was told "the ticket is already closed so I can't do that." Won't be returning to this location.
I went in looking for a set of tires. Luckily, they had tires to fit my vehicle in stock and commenced work immediately. I was able to observe the technician perform the work while waiting in the waiting room. Work was completed quickly, for a reasonable price and I was on my way. Very satisfied with the tires and the work done

I dropped my truck off at 10am for an oil change, by 2pm I hadn’t heard anything so I called. He said give me 40 minutes. 3pm I show up…they never even got the oil change done. Marvin just lied to my face & said “he’s pulling it back in now because they put too much oil in it & he needs to take some out” WHAT!? I’ve been waiting FOR HOURS & then they LIE to my face & I know it’s because I’m a girl. They pull my truck back while I’m sitting here & now they’re performing the oil change….I am literally watching them do the oil change AFTER he says it was already done because I said “give me my keys, I’m going somewhere else” why couldn’t you just be honest & say “we weren’t able to get to your car yet, I’m so sorry” I’m supposed to get all the tires rotated also & the PSI checked, that didn’t happen, they rushed through the job because I showed up here after they did NOTHING when they had the car for 5 hours.
Just not friendly. It felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. I also booked an appointment online and that really didn’t matter because they didn’t hold to that at all. The tires are fine. I selected a quality brand. But the communication and quality of service was lacking. Would not recommend.
Guy Duane was awesome he gave me a good price on two tires the economy ones they had in stock I bought them over the counter being I had a friend to mount n balance them for really really cheap 30 bucks to be exact but definitely recommend them for service seem to have some honest hard working employees there ??
Dwayne was a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond to communicate, provide pricing and the turn around time was fast. I left there thinking I will definitely be returning.
I had called this location earlier in the mornings and talked with someone who encouraged me to bring my car in to see what they could do.
I arrive about 40mins later and (Melvin/Marvin) some man who I wished I paid attention to enough to get his actual name but I was checked out because his responses to my questions were down right rude. One worded answers with no sign of showing any interest into learning what was wrong, who I talked to earlier or what I was even asking for help with. Not a good first impression. Learn to talk to customers better especially when they haven’t warranted any treatment other than kindness
I purchased my tires on line and scheduled my installation service on line. The customer representative and staff communicated with me on dropping my vehicle off. Very professional and explained when my vehicle would be ready for pickup. I also received text message alerts from start to finish. Also my vehicle was ready earlier than expected. The representative was very friendly and courteous. I had a great experience and will continue to visit this location.
I have always been able to easily schedule service. Everyone from check-in to checkout helped get my car (synthetic oil change) using the Manager’s special deal road ready.
Made an appointment with them. Showed up early to said appointment. They refused to see me, after hiding in the back for 15+ minutes they only appeared when they heard the phone ring. They claimed that the reason was all the mechanics had gone home for the day and told me to come back tomorrow. So they went home despite the fact that I made an appointment with them? And wasted my time instead of just not wasting a customer’s time? Make it make sense.
Oh and also the receptionist needs to be someone else with a friendlier, hospitable personality if they want to keep getting business
We had a tire blowout on a used car we purchased from Bob Bell Ford. Bob did not supply us with the wheel lock. We took it to Goodyear. Goodyear wanted to charge us over $200 and didn’t guarantee anything to get the wheel lock off we were gonna tow it to Bob Bell, but Bob Bell was gonna charge us over $300 to get the wheel lock of. I spoke with Marvin. They charged me $70 to get the wheel lock off, but the tires were so much cheaper and the service was great.
Went in for a tire change and they ruined my suspension by not know what they were doing. Service people referred me to bmw for a diagnosis because he did not know what he was doing. BMW needed more than a basic diagnostic which he agreed they would cover. Now I have a claim and an inspector went out to bmw for them a week ago but I get no response or communication about my claim. From the person handling my claim. Service person admitted to my self and the bmw service advisor that he did not know what he was doing and even asked the proper way to turning off the suspension before raising the vehicle. The lady handling my claim has said to me that the tech said it was not his fault and they never agreed or recommended anything. This has been ongoing since April 2nd. And my car is sitting at bmw since. This terrible business practice.
Fantastic experience. After crappy customer service with Walmart who never answer the phone and made it impossible to cancel an online tire order.
Went to Pep boys at 5pm on a Saturday night. Good advice and service from Kobe . Custom tires arrived today Monday and installed by noon.
Update: 2/7/25- took in today for wheel swap for my Tacoma . Fast service as usual. Very professional with honest recommendations.

One star is too high for this place. I took my car here, as trusted, to get 2 brand new tires. To realize the next day after almost getting into an accident my tires fell off, turned opposite of the steering wheel & it was visible that a tool was left on my car. I called them immediately and they asked me did someone try to steal my tires or did I do anything with the tires, which was an insult. My car had to be towed back to the shop, unfortunately to let them correct the issue. I reached out to corporate, they fixed the error by the next business day & never apologized for their mistake. I could have got into a major accident, my life was at jeopardy due to their negligence & I had to cancel work due to this inconvenience. Corporate never called me back, I had to reach out days later for an update on my case # and they offered me a free oil change for my tire issue. Not only are the mechanics unqualified to perform the services offered. The entire company is irresponsible and lacks customer service. If you appreciate your life this shop or company is not a place you want to work on your vehicle!
I recently had my car serviced, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dwayne and the team did an amazing job with the tire balancing and rotation. My car feels smoother than ever on the road, and the service was quick and efficient. I highly recommend them for their professionalism and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back for any future services.
Set up an appointment using the Pep Boys online scheduling tool and it was super easy. Gave me multipool time slots that were in 30 minute intervals. VERY EASY TO USE

I first am grateful to the Pepboys Mechanic by the name of Skyler. Long hair soft spoken male who assisted me installing my battery today during his lunch break. To explain; I woke up this morning to find I could not start my Ford Transit Connect cargo van. So I jumped started it and zoomed to Pepboys. I went to service to buy a new battery and have them install it, which is a free service. Service agent at front desk informed me it would take 4 hours before they could get to it. I could not wait as I had to be in DC in 2 hours today for a contracted event. I bought the battery and went to install it myself. How hard could it be, right! When I found the old battery I about pooped a brick. It was tucked away under the dash. It was very difficult to reach. Skyler saw me and walked out with a 10mm socket in hand and assisted me. He taught me how to remove the airfilter unit to access battery for removal. Once the terminals were removed and the security bracket was removed the side wall could be moved out of the way to slide out battery. Damn you Ford! He did most of the work and got me on my way. He also inspected new battery and found it to be faulty as it was corroded around terminals and told me to exchange it before installing it. Again, thank you Skyler and Merry Christmas! You saved me contract today.
