Buying a GMC? See Nate, the guy is just a great guy to deal with. He bent over backwards to help me through the process. He showed me several trucks in all varieties multiple times so that I could make the best Decision for me. He wasn’t pushy, he actually knows more about the vehicles than me which is apparently hard to do. I’m not super knowledgeable but a lot of these sales people don’t know crap about vehicles they are selling. Thanks for everything Nate! Truly appreciate the way you operate.

Scheduled dealer appointment was for replacement of key fobs and oil change. Buick dealers good at normal services like oil changes but no coordination between service department, parts department and after waiting two weeks to get a time they didn't order parts. Two days in shop for an oil change was enough and took my car back as they had no key fobs. Service Dept blames customer for not buying parts in advance too. Regretfully dont recommend Burton Buick for anything requiring special parts even as simple as key fobs

My car repair was quick, waiting room was nice, and they washed my car! I appreciate the integrity and service. They always take good care of me and my Buick. Highly recommend.

In search of my next vehicle, I visited five other "big-named" Maryland dealerships before connecting with IG Burton of Glen Burnie. Over the course of a month, I experienced some of the worst customer service—sales gimmicks, pressure tactics, and unnecessary games—which made an already stressful process even more exhausting. This was my fifth vehicle purchase, but my first SUV and my first time shopping for a Buick/GMC. Everything changed once I spoke with Sales Manager Joe Beach. From our very first phone call, I felt completely heard. He treated me with respect, provided fast and efficient information about the vehicle I was interested in, and followed up both verbally and via email within 10 minutes. Most importantly, there was no haggling or pressure throughout the process. Because of the unique exterior color, my vehicle was being transferred from another dealership, communication was key—and IG Burton exceeded expectations. I received consistent updates throughout the transfer and even received a follow-up email from Bob Purdue at 11:30 PM. The team ensured my bank’s requirements were met and worked around my availability to make final paperwork seamless. The finance experience was just as exceptional. Tyler and Melissa from the Finance Team were wonderful—professional, clear, and respectful during the signing process. To top it off, Bob followed up via text the day after my “drive-off” day (which was a Sunday) to thank me again for my patience and business. I have shared nothing but glowing feedback about my experience with IG Burton of Glen Burnie with my colleagues, family, and friends. The entire team, led by Charles Burton, turned a long and frustrating car-buying journey into one that was truly worth the wait. They made me feel like more than just a sale—I felt like part of a dealership family that genuinely cared about meeting my needs. Thank you again to the IG Burton team. Leaving a review on the Sales side as well. Recently purchased my 2020 Yukon XL here and really enjoyed working with Nate Schafer in the Sales Department. He provided me all the info on the vehicle I was interested in via phone and electronic media in a very efficient and helpful manner before I made up the drive from the Washington DC area to Glen Burnie to see the GMC in person. There was a minor service issue on the vehicle, but I really wanted to take delivery that day. Nate coordinated with the Service Department, and an appointment was set up to return. Nate and his management team, headed up by General Manager Joe Beach, made sure that the excellent experience I had on the date of delivery continued. Brennan was the service advisor, and I was really impressed with the professionalism all around and have decided to continue to have my vehicle serviced here, driving past several other GMC dealers to do so (I literally could walk from home to one of them!). Basically, I’ve dealt with both sales and service here and all I can say is that I am beyond impressed!

Sandy in services was extremely helpful when my check engine light came on, and helped me file a claim with insurance. He kept me informed, and gave good recommendations. I would come back

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with David Stevenson at I.G. Burton deserves every bit of praise I can give. From the very first conversation to driving off the lot in my new truck, David delivered exceptional customer service at every step. His responsiveness, professionalism, and clear communication were on a level I honestly did not expect from a dealership. He set the bar incredibly high. David is one of those rare salespeople who is genuinely committed to the customer. He kept me informed, answered every question quickly and clearly, and made the entire process smooth, transparent, and stress free. It is obvious he takes pride in what he does, and it shows in the way he treats people. And the truck is fantastic. I am beyond happy with it. The whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. If you are considering a vehicle from I.G. Burton, do yourself a favor and ask for David. I highly recommend both the dealership and David specifically. You will not find better service anywhere.

Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, especially toward women. Everyone was nice while they wanted our money, but once they did not get their way, their attitude completely changed, including all the way up to the General Manager. The most concerning part is that they do not seem to understand their own contracts and have continued to harass us after the fact over terms that are clearly stated in writing. This experience was frustrating, and unacceptable. I strongly recommend thinking twice before doing business here. Professionalism and integrity are clearly lacking.

Chris Collins went above and beyond at I.G. Burton GMC to make sure I had a good buying experience. I went there to buy a GMC Canyon but ended up buying a Certified Pre-owned GMC Sierra 1500 2.7L Turbomax 4x4. Chris worked with me every step of the way, kept me up to date on new inventory postings, and helped me into a vehicle that fit my budget. I do not recommend IG Burton service. They are not honoring the service warranty that I purchased. I purchased 15 oil changes when I originally bought my vehicle. The dealership was since bought out. The new ownership will not honor the service warrant I purchased. So no I’m on the hook for 6 oil changes.

Kevin is excellent at giving great service. Always will bring our truck to him. Dropped it off with no notice (and apologized). He had it back and complete in 3 days for our Christmas trip to Florida!

The service staff was polite, courteous and professional as always! Didn’t have to wait long, it was great! We drive an hour to come to them even though there’s a closer dealership because of how good they are.

Took our 2024 gmc Yukon in for service after it started making a chirping noise. My father in law said it was likely the belt and pulley, which it was. I was charged 280 for a diagnosis, and then received a call that quoted me 2500 worth of work and maintenance. 700 for the belt and pulley, and the rest was maintenance that NEEDED to be done immediately. My father in law told me the price for the repair was a rip off. I called a local shop who said they could repair it for 400 on the expensive end. I also handed them the list of maintenance that I was told I NEEDED.. he checked everything, and was told only 2/7 maintenance items needed to be done. The others all looked perfectly fine and aren’t normally done until 80-100k miles. I am absolutely DISGUSTED with this service department. 80k for a truck that has parts going bad that shouldn’t be until 80k miles and they’re STILL trying steal money. And their explanation for the part going bad early was there’s no explanation, that they had two brand new trucks with less than 10k miles on it and need new engines… call me crazy, but it seems like maybe GMC has low quality cars for high prices

I highly recommend IG Burton GMC. I had to have my truck towed to the dealer with no appointment. They initially said it may take a few days to get it looked at but called back and said they would get it in the next day. Brennan in the Service Department kept me updated and it was completed the next day. Amazing service and follow up.

These guys are great. I won’t take my cars anywhere else. It’s like finding a great doctor. They have my confidence and gratitude.

Very impressed with the dealership overall ie general appearance and friendliness of the staff, especially our salesman David Stevenson. He was very informative, patient, and personable. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we purchased for forthright in his responses to any question we posed. The financial officer handled the loan efficiently and professionally coving all aspects of the transaction.

They went above and beyond for my first time buying experience. They pulled strings all over to get me on the road. These people care . We dropped the vehicle off late Sunday evening without an appointment. The vehicle was repaired and picked up Tuesday evening. Our service advisor, Brennan did a great job of keeping us informed. We will definitely be returning for future service

This was my first time having my car serviced here as I followed one of their newest employees, Brennan, there from another dealer. Brennan's been my guy for a long time now, so it was a no brainer. As far as the service, I can't complain about it at all, it was done in a timely manner. The staff there are nice. The waiting area (customer lounge) is nice and clean with a child room in there. Vending machines in another room. They even have a nice big TV there that doesn't show dealer infomercials all day ?

Hi I would like to thank Dave Stevenson for being the best salesman I have ever dealt with. He went over and beyond to help me feel comfortable in my 2024 Tesla Model Y and every question that I had he answered and if he didn’t have the answer he researched it. David was amazing and helped my husband and I get in and out. I love my new car. I forget the name of our finance guy but he was awesome too. They were both very personable and I never felt like I was being pushed into buying a car. This dealership definitely knows the definition of customer service!! Chris Collins is the best salesman I’ve ever worked with and I’ve bought at least 10 cars!! His attention to detail and ensuring that I got the exact car that I wanted was above and beyond. Chris was super responsive and made the entire experience seamless and stress free. The sales manager, Mac, was also wonderful. He explained everything about the leasing process and I never felt like I was rushed, pressured or misinformed. From the start, Chris and Mac were honest and transparent, so there were no last minute surprises! As a woman, it was so refreshing to be treated with courtesy and respect. The salesman Barry was great, the car is beautiful but I have buyers remorse, nothing wrong with the car, I dislike the color and should have thought more about this purchase. I called the morning after, I purchased the car, less than 14hrs, to see if I could return it and was told, I could not . It's IG Burtons policy to not to accept returns.
