I had an appointment but did most of it myself and only needed a breaker put in which would be paid by the manufacturer. It is a 15 minute job. They said I still needed to drop it off so I said I didn't want to drive back and fourth and get a ride for 15 minutes of work. She just hung up on me. I called back and said did you want my name to cancel or just rudely hang up. She I guess had my name by caller ID and said I was rude. So I said I'd keep that in mind and hung up. I have owned a business and I don't care what you think of customers but you suck up your fragile ego and say, "sorry we cannot help". I have been to professional RV repair around the country and good shops have better project management. It is time consumers stand up and boycott horribly ran shops with poor customer service.

UNACCEPTABLE AND DEEPLY UPSETTING EXPERIENCE We stored our Airstream Interstate (van) at Jim Donnie’s RV for the winter while traveling across the U.S. and into Canada. On the owner’s recommendation, we paid extra for their “engine start” service to protect our batteries and trusted they would care for our vehicle responsibly. When we picked up our van and got back on the road, I noticed my dishes wouldn’t push all the way to the back of the cupboard. Reaching inside, I found a paper bag containing a jar half full of cannabis and a pipe. It was immediately clear that someone had been inside and using our RV for personal purposes while it was in their possession. We were not only angry — we were shaken. If I hadn’t discovered the bag before crossing into Canada, where cannabis is illegal, we could have faced arrest and had our RV confiscated. That is an unthinkable situation to be put in because of someone else’s negligence and violation of trust. The jar label traced back to a cannabis shop in the same town as Jim Donnie’s RV, leaving little question about where it came from. We sent several detailed emails to the owner and manager, including photos of what we found. Not once did they respond — not an apology, not an explanation, not even acknowledgment. To add insult to injury, we were also charged more than the quoted price for the de-winterizing service. That silence speaks volumes. It showed complete disregard for customer safety, responsibility, and basic integrity. We will never use or recommend Jim Donnie’s RV to anyone. If you value your property and peace of mind, look elsewhere. What happened to us was inexcusable

Jim helped me figure out the parts I needed and how to approach an important repair. Everything was well priced. I would recommend him and will definitely be going back.

ONE STOP SHOP FOR ALLLLL YOUR trailer needs I had just recently got into the outdoorsy part of life Bought a diesel truck then later ended up buying jet skis and was time to get jet skis and trailer all registered and in my name so I thought let me just go to the MVA and get the trailer done first, unbeknownst to me i had 0 clue trailers had to be inspected before registration so i thought no worries let me just go get it done real quick …i was promptly shown to be very mistaken because its as if no one in the area knew how to do a trailer inspection I kid you not i went to atleast 15 different MD inspection stations and burned about two full tanks of diesel (i cried a bit inside lol) - if the shop could do inspections they couldn’t do trailer inspections - If the shop could do trailer inspections their inspection guy wasn’t there - If the shop could do trailer inspections and the inspection guy was there they didn’t know how to do jet skis trailer inspections - If they could do all that it was oh come next week Long story short BY SOULY gods grace I managed to stumble upon Jim Donnies RV Service Center I walked in and was promptly and kindly greeted to and attend to by Mr. Dave and Mr. Jack, inspection done by Mr. Donnie himself and an AMAZING full custom drop hitch WITH a step for my truck built by Mr. Bryant I was in and out of there in less than 2 hours with EVERYTHING DONE what 15 shops COULDNT do… Jim Donnies RV Service Center did it ALL in a swift and timely manner DONT go ANYWHERE ELSE from your trailer need other than Jim Donnies RV Service Center

My husband and I have been going to this place for years to get our propane tanks re-filled. They have decent prices, and they will re-fill any size tank for you while you wait. Very good customer service and friendly staff!

Outstanding service! I needed a full awning replacement on my travel trailer. After the first repair shop completely dropped the ball, I called Jim Donnie’s and they quickly had me bring it by to get measured and get an estimate. Within an hour of the measure they called me with the estimate and we set up an appointment for the install. Dropped it off for install and it was ready less than 24 hours later. Awning looks and works great. I’ll be using Jim Donnie’s for any future work for sure.

Not the friendliest staff here... We were here to get a certification on empty propane tank for rv shipping suggested by our shipping agent. It took us several hours to fully empty on the other side of the road by turning on the 'bleeder valve'. When asked where it is, they asked me to look it up myself... It costed 60 bucks to just get the certification... and will cost 10 more if you ask them to do it for you. When asked other propane suppliers about this method of emptying, they told us it's not the safest way to do so and warned us for our safety and the surrounding. Had no choice other than this so had to risk it. After all, it doesn't seem very professional. Also, they were very slow working for us - waited in the shop for less than 1 hour to get them to write the certificate when we said we are in a hurry.

We had excellent service with Jim Donnies RV Service. Jack was amazing. Our pop-up camper was damaged by a storm 2 years ago. It took extensive time and effort by the staff at Jim Donnies to work with our insurance company and the camper manufacturer to find the right parts to ensure our camper was fully repaired. Throughout the whole experience, Jack was consistently available for updates and ensured the camper was fully repaired. They are amazing!!! Thank you all at Jim Donnies for all your hard work!!!

Stopped in the morning, work was complete in less than hour. Great job by everyone involved. Back to our journey from Arizona to Maine and back to Arizona. Thank you Jim Donnie’s

Very honest, friendly, and professional staff. I thought I needed to replace a part on my rv and instead of agreeing and taking my money they were honest and educated me on what I had. Two thumbs up to them.

Every employee I encounter was professional and down right helpful. They spelled everything out and called to let me know just what they found I was able to drop my trailer off the day before my appointment, at my convenience. Win win

A little pricey, But got me in and completed in 3 days when most RV repair shops are quoting months. Knowledgeable. This shop has been around forever and is know to be very reputable.

The staff I dealt with were nice and the store was pretty well stocked. Make sure to research the prices before buying as we noticed some seriously overpriced items. If you want anything done to your RV be aware they will make you come in and pay a non-refundable $150 deposit and then gouge you on the quote for work so even if you choose not to do the work they get paid.

I am new RV owner and these guys have been nothing but great!! Gave a lot of information that I needed. Had a small problem with my hitch and Jack took a short lunch to look at my problem. As with every other RV service place, they are just as busy and you need to make an appointment but they are willing to work the problem out as best they can. They make you feel like family.

I visited JD’s for some very hard to find items they looked in there books and made phone calls for half an hour and found them! They really went out of there way for a small item so if they put that much effort into an item that wasn’t that much of a reward for them this shows the level of commitment to their customers. I will give them my future business.

Jim Donnies goes above and beyond. Our RV toilet broke on our vacation. My husband went it to buy a part to fix it. After borrowing a ton of tools my husband gave up. A repair person offered to finish the job. I am so grateful that many hours from home we found these incredible people.

Definitely do not recommend this place. We called for an appointment and were told to bring it in the following Saturday. When we showed it, they had no recollection of our appointment or who would have told us to bring it in. During that call we were quoted $300 for the Warranty Forever inspection and winterizing. They told us they would keep it anyway and do the inspection. Much to our surprise when picking it up, we were charged $750 for the inspection and winterizing, never even being contacted about this huge discrepancy in price. After contacting many other companies in the area for pricing on the Warranty Forever inspection, the average price in the area is $200, not the $560 we were charged for the inspection alone. Will definitely not be back, or recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent service. The team inspected (MD) my Rockwood 2016 Pop up in 48 hours during their busiest month in Sep-Oct. Terrific customer care.

I travel alone and I want my trailer to be well maintained. These guys are thorough, they know what they are doing. When they recommend work, they always give me options. They have found issues that could have been a disaster if left uncorrected. They took the time to teach me to winterize and dewinterize so I don't always need to come in. This last visit they tightened what was loose, lubricated things that were too tight, sealed, inspected, and did everything to keep me on the road as a happy camper. I've been using them for trailer maintenance and repairs for 10 years and I'm 100% satisfied.

Nice people to work with. Honest and fair. I needed to purchase a replacement latch for a 20 year old Winnebago motorhome. The old latch was no longer serviceable. The elder statesman of the store probably spent 1/2 hour with me trying to locate a suitable replacement. We found a replacement that was close to the old one. They said to bring it back if it didn't fit or work properly. The replacement latch was only $7 or $8. Sure enough, it didn't operate as intended. We returned the latch and gave us our money back and a great smile. They invited us to come back if we needed parts or service or advice. These folks were great to work with and they were genuinely helpful. I highly recommend them Signed, CG, Severna Park, MD.

We use to reccomend them but will not ever again after our experience this summer. They did not communicate with us...they had it for 4 months, from the end of June to Nov 2020... they took unauthorized short cuts....the final cost exceeded their quote by quite a bit.....and their work was slipshod at best. Have spent the last 6 weeks and over $1000 fixing what they either didn't fix or issues they helped to create. When we called they were defensive...argumentative and unpleasant saying..."well things just break".

Just stopped in to see the store and ask questions about a new (to me) pop-up camper I bought. They were very helpful and answered all the questions I had and offered tips. Another customer stopped in and asked about something, but they didn't have it and directed the gentleman to another store nearby that did carry what he wanted. I was impressed and definitely will be going back.

The experience with Jim Donnie's (JD) went from "sugar to $hit". My wife and I took our newly purchased camper van to this business to get some much needed work done. As we dropped it off on 5/18/2020, we described the issues we had, the biggest one being major leaks when trying to get water into the rv at both connection types. The work load was expected to last for a couple of days and when we called on 5/21/2020 to follow up, they mentioned that the leaks were fixed and that they were waiting for parts to fix other problems mentioned. Since we planned a memorial weekend getaway, we agreed that we will pick up the rv, pay for the entire service ticket in advance and bring it back for completion upon our return. During our trip, we realized that the major leaks were not addressed in full, and that JD seemingly only looked at the city water connection and associated leaks. We brought it back in on 5/26/2020, again detailing the major leaks, and after 1st saying that they fixed it, they stated that service was only done in regards to the city water connection, contrary to our expectations. They promised to fix it along with the other pending services that we prepaid for. Later that day, JD called and described to us that in trying to access our electrical shore connection, they broke the panel cover, however the mechanic said it was dry rotted and minimal force was used to get it open, which shattered the cover. This is where the whole experience went way left!Things to note: when we dropped off the rv the 1st time, there was a small screw in place to keep the panel cover shut, which they removed quick easily and forgot to return in place, so we replaced it before going on our trip. We also knew that this panel cover, though old, was NOT dry rotted and in order to get it open without accessing the screw, you'd have to apply alot of force to do so. The mechanic then said that we would be responsible for the cost of replacing the panel cover, even quoting us a price of $92. We adamantly refused to pay for this replacement, and the mechanic began a verbal confrontation about who's fault it was and who's financial liable for the repairs. The owner then came on the phone, yelling and regurgitating the same points that the mechanic stated and said that either we pay for the repairs or they can try to put it back to how it was. Though we barely got a word in during the belligerent conversation with the owner, we agreed that they would put the panel back in place to the best of their ability. My wife and I were in shock as to the manner in which the owner spoke and was discussing his tone as the mechanic returned to the call. He overheard this and thought that my wife was talking about him and started to direct taunts towards here while I'm telling him to disregard that as we weren't discussing him. He insisted that it had to him that we were talking about and continued taunt her. I interrupted once more and stated that given the tone and flow of the entire interaction, we've decided to cease the continuation of all services and pick up our rv immediately. The mechanic started to apologize and said that he was the nicest person we'd ever met and not one to engage in opposition, which was the furthest from the truth given the conversation thus far. Within 45mins of the cessation of that conversation we arrived at JDs where we were met by the owner who barely spoke at first to let us know that our rv will be ready shortly. After 5mins he returned to the front and engaged in a yelling spat with my wife and I after we opposed him for his demeanor and tone during the phone conversation. He then threatened to call the police due to our "behavior and aggressiveness". We didnt budge and called his bluff about calling that since we knew it was another attempt of intimidation on his part. At this point his tone settled down and he rang up the bill for the services performed for that day, since as mentioned earlier we had prepaid for material and labor for everything else. We will never return to JDs again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They should have just told my wife they didn't want to replace the roof. Most places have a per sqft price. My wife tried to get a quote for our 99 Jayco and the lady yelled @ her telling her they don't give quotes over the phone. That's fine and dandy. But we have our camper covered up because it has a small leak. If they are willing to cover it up when we bring it to them then sure. But my thinking is they just didn't want to do it. That's fine. I'll take my money elsewhere...

Been dealing with the folks here for work and for our 2016 Outback camper maintenance. Came in today for a roof inspection estimate especially because the camper was leaking in yesterday’s rain and I found some water damaged trim. Keep in mind that I just showed up without an appointment as I usually get prior to bringing my camper in. Once they saw what was going on, they took me right in and did everything in their power to help me especially with the incoming rains. That’s absolutely the best service I’ve ever been given from any service provider. I will never go anywhere else now for sure!!! Thanks for taking care of me today!

I called when they first opened the friday before NewYears. I needed a Utility Trailer Inspection and they were able to take me in right away. I came in and only one thing failed which they fixed while I went to get my Tags... The staff were all friendly down to earth people, and really took care of all my needs in a fast timely fashion and the prices where affordable especially for the quick turnaround of the repair. Definitely looking forward to taking a Boat Trailer that is in need of some service and a inspection come this spring. Thanks again for everything and Happy New Year to you all!!!

You can wait 5 weeks for an appointment and then get taken advantage of. Mechanic left vehicle running while showing me how everything works. But he had installed a new battery for the "house" lights etc. Except now with this battery discounted all the inside lights and stuff still work. So my engine battery is drained. ( If he had done the walk through with engine off, using new battery, problems would have been obvious.) It took 10 minutes to show me how everything worked, but I was charged for 1/2 hour. It took 25 min for mechanic to write up final service ticket. It looks like I was charged for that time as well. My service ticket was more than $1200. I was expecting $500 and to be called for additional work. They can look you dead in the eye and "empathize". I spoke with the owner too. Nothing. They've got plenty of business, so my concerns do not matter to them.

Old school knowledgeable service I thought was dead. Everyone there was well trained and helpful. And most of all they had the part Id been looking for my whole trip. Also had my propane filled. Absolutely top quality place of business.

Walked into the store today with a picture of the plumbing fittings on the water heater on my boat. A gentlemen greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. He looked at the picture, knew exactly what brand of fittings they were. Told him what the issue was and that I believe I needed a three-way valve. He pulled the last one they had and let me buy it. All I needed to fix the boat is one valve, but would have been five out of five stars if they had two in stock, one extra just on case!
