I am describing the awesome Miakka Cemetery adjacent to the church. It's unfortunate not listed on Google maps separately so I added the pictures on here. Great history at the Cemetery.

My late grandfather, Rev. Charles H. Covey (wife Hazel), was the pastor of this church starting in the summer of 1967. I was 12 years old then and was known as Margie Freeman. I spent the entire summer living with them in the old 3-room parsonage. I knew "Mr. Jasper" Crowley as well as his brother and sister-in-law. Mr. Jasper supplied us with fresh milk every other day. Many fond memories were made that summer. I wrote this review just as a bit of history. My home is now in Port Charlotte.

This is a small community church where the Light of Christ is flourishing. This is a very welcoming church.

What a wonderfully quaint old church, they also have a great dinner on wednesdays and Saturdays, very tasty for a 5 dollar donation.
