Homer was so kind, helpful and patient. The manager Dave is so helpful. Had an issue at Clark road store, came here, they fixed it and did even better. Definitely the only Advance to go to!

Great guys at this location. Especially John. He’s an amazing employee. Always smiles & is extremely helpful when I stop by often. He’s down to earth & really takes pride in his job. Wish other locations had a John… I’ve never had an issue & will always shop here as long as he’s there.

I'm visiting the area so was happy the guys there were incredibly helpful when I needed new windshield wipers. Great service. Came in a week later with a check engine light and the gentleman working said they couldn't find their reader? That it was there last night but they couldn't find it? Told me to go to Auto Zone.

I needed a battery. They checked it out with a meter and diagnosed the issue. They had a great battery at a good price. The store manager installed it for me. I know that is what Advance Auto does, but he went above and beyond. Kudos.

These guys are top notch. My battery died in my driveway right down the street from them. It was raining, a Sunday, and almost closing time. HUGE props to Toni, who drove on over, tested the battery, drove me back to purchase a new one, and she drove back and installed the new battery. She went beyond the call of duty. Super friendly and excellent customer service!!!

Very nice and accommodating. I bought oil and a filter. I needed a clean place to dispose of my old oil. They have a used oil tank in the back. Bonus: They keep the area clean!

Bought a brand new battery here less than 4 months ago. Today I am at the dealership because my battery died on me twice this weekend. The quality and customer care of these places have gone downhill in the past few years. I can't trust or risk buying parts for my truck from these places anymore.

Needed to replace headlight bulbs while visiting from out of town. Had the H11 bulbs in stock plus loaned me the tools I needed to do the repair. They even gave me some rubber gloves to keep my fingers off of the halogen bulbs when installing. Great service and very friendly.

If I go into a business I would like to have their full attention. lady sitting behind the counter with a nose ring was on her phone when I walked up and while I was being checked out by her. And I don't mean talking on it, she was typing in it and looking on the screen social media or whatever it doesn't matter. Do your job quit ignoring customers.

I have got to say this has been the best experience I have had at ANY Advance Auto Parts store. I had went to 4 previous Advance Auto Parts stores within Sarasota and Bradenton looking for a starter with the online store showing it was "there" locally but I show up and nothing is there. Then only to be told to go to another store. I then drive to another store to be let down again and they tell me the part isn't there when I was just told from the previous store it was there. Just as I was about to give up I swing into the Bee Ridge store and I come across David at the front desk. He was already helping another customer that was already raving about how helpful he was and I was only hoping I would have the same experience. Once I was up I let David know of my experience and he immediately jumped in to help. He knew exactly what to do. He found me the exact part for my vehicle, even suggested that I get the year warranty for the part which I normally wouldn't do, but why not right?!? He was very knowledgeable and very patient with me through this whole process that I would most definitely drive here again and I live out in Myakka City. David is incredible! Thank you so much for all your help David!

I stopped in for what I thought would be a simple task. Get a license plate out of a BMW license plate holder...everything was rusted and I was lucky enough to go to the counter and meet CHET! He was incredible. He worked on this with me for over an hour while waiting on other customers so nobody would have to wait while he worked on my problem. Sounds simple, but it was a real problem. I owned a customer service company for 30 years and Advanced Auto is lucky i'm retired because I would have hired him away! People like Chet are hard to find! He went above and beyond the call of duty while taking care of others and working on problem when the line cleared. I won't go through all he had to do but I can't say enough about how he handled everything. Thanks CHET!!

Today on 7-6 around 1130ish we stopped in and the staff was the friendliest they have ever been! We own a mobile mechanic shop and it is hard to find a parts store that is willing to help the small man out. They went over and beyond today. I also seen them helping many customers in the parking lot for a personal and one on one experience. You don’t find this type of service anymore! Thank you Bee Ridge Advanced team!

Had a battery that went dead but was under warranty. They took care of it with no hassle and even installed the replacement - all I had to do was hold the umbrella. I always have a great experience here and Advance is my number one stop for any automotive needs.

Wanted to pick something up. Both doors were locked with the lights on at 6:30pm on a Thursday. There was one employee I could see stocking shelves and wouldn’t acknowledge me outside by the door. I called their number and he refused to pick up the phone. Weird. I’ll go somewhere else where people want to work.

Needed some items for an older model pick-up that I'm helping my son learn how to service. The gentlemen at the counter were so friendly and helpful. Such a contrast to most stores these days.

I recently went in for two items. I believe the person that helped me was David, an older bearded gentleman. He was trying to open a package to see if it would work for me after he brought both items to the check-out counter. While attempting to open the package, the phone rang. He said "it's probably for me" and then answered the phone. Well after about 45 seconds of chit-chat, he then proceeded to help the caller find a part and completely ignored me. What happened to "first come, first serve"? There were three other employees in the store and only one was busy with a customer. David could have told the caller he was 'helping another customer right now' and put the caller on hold and asked another employee to take the call. After about a minute or so later, another employee walked by and I caught his attention. I think he was the manager. He asked if I needed to check out, and then I followed him to another register to pay for my part. In hindsight, I should have mentioned why I was waiting on David while I was paying for the part. I don't want to get David in trouble because he seems like a really nice guy, and he was very helpful in the beginning. But David could use a refresher course in customer service. I expect better! I would never treat my customers like that. I've worked in retail for over 40 years, and I know good, or bad customer service when I see it.

Excellent service by the short guy with the beard. He was knowledgeable and strove to find parts the system reported were in the store but were not. He recommended alternatives which worked. A younger guy, not sure whether it was his boss or co-worker was not so customer friendly - he told the short guy who was serving me he was taking too much time and to go serve other customers! So rude!

Great customer service and great prices! I suggest purchasing online for potential discounts and picking up from the store. The representatives we're able to help me find the parts compatible with my car and advice on differences in each product option. Definitely gained my trust to become a returning customer

He was thoroughly knowledgeable about every aspect of our visit and even offered to install the replacement battery in our car at no cost! We can't say enough nice things about our visit today and wholeheartedly recommend others give them their business, as well!

As always, the store is well staffed. Even at a quarter till 9, right at closing time, they are friendly, helpful and have some pretty good insights. First off, it's nice that they stay open until 9, most every other business on that stretch of Bee Ridge closes well before. Also, i almost felt welcome, like they were happy to help, glad I was there, even. Their prices are competitive and there's always a deal or two if you look around. Their rewards program is a little cumbersome but worth the effort if you're there as much as we are. As is often the case, the staff makes the first impression and when price and quality are similar, the people make the difference. Advanced Discount Auto on Bee Ridge has been treating me right for a long time, thanks, neighbors.

**TIP** —> Go to Advanced Auto Parts website. Usually the pop-up when you initially get to the site or the top banner usually has an amazing coupon. I just got 25% off (maximum of $50) any products. This location has very knowledgeable staff! All the staff at this Advanced Auto Parts are amazing. Don’t judge a book by its cover please. Some employees may not look like the ‘typical’ car experts. I have to say that those employees are by far the most helpful I’ve experienced. So far EVERYONE has been very helpful even with my very specific and not normal questions. Every time I’m there, I’m greeted very welcoming. COVID-19: Advanced Auto Parts has some of the best COVID-19 procedures. They give you anti-bacterial hand sanitizer, they give you the scanner and credit card machine so you essentially do all the work and you are the only person to touch the product. I think the way they do this is brilliant and I’m confused as to why any other business does it this way. Some Experiences: First, I was shopping for a new fan assembly, electrical connections, etc. for my 2013 Camaro ZL1 which was overheating due to one of the fans not working. Advanced Auto helped with this and got me the parts I needed. Second, I drove by the GM Dealership down street and saw a beautiful Z06 Vette which had the Z07 package as well as many many other options. I fell in love with the car and ended up trading in my Camaro ZL1 for the newer Vette.... I already ordered supercharger upgrades, camshaft, full exhaust, etc. etc. which I have to buy online to be honest... Point is what I DID need ASAP is a good ‘quick detailed spray’, microfiber cloth, hose, etc. - the blue on the Vette is beautiful and I wanted it to stay clean. This Z06 Vette has more curves and edges than any car I’ve ever owned. It’s also the smallest. Which honestly makes it the hardest car to detail I’ve ever owned. The recent detailing products worked great.
