Outstanding. I was looking for a next to impossible to find base layer shirt from KLIM. I looked all over planet earth. Nobody had it - except Haps Cycle. I was introduced to Mike in parts and he found the item and was a genuinely great guy to work with. He gave me a great price and made the transaction quick and easy. A+

Never a good experience here. 1. They accidentally had my k1200 repossessed by BMW. 2. A gentleman named Mike in service/ parts never returned my call for my r1200gs fuel pump Recall. 3. They once told me a motorcycle was expensive when I asked for a price. Referring that it was out of my price range. This dealer is your typical cocky BMW motorcycle dealership. I really want to buy the new r1300 GSA but due to lack of good dealers in the area I am struggling to justify.

Hap’s is a great dealership. I have purchased two motorcycles there. The customer support, service department, and parts departments are excellent. So is the insurance department. I will purchase with Hap’s again.

I had an extremely smooth experience I didn’t realize but I was working with the sales manager and he was super professional super chill super knowledgeable just a super guy pretty much text me the entire deal and only took about 30 min to sign paperwork and get me on the road but the whole store was really relaxing just smooth great bike selection everybody was helpful knowledgeable and I can’t stress they got me out in 30min flat. Also this was my first ever motorcycle and RAY BARKER walked me through the bike made sure I was comfortable and once again did all this within 30min highly recommend the place for anyone looking to grab a bike I’m buying another bike in a few months guess where I’m going 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

Knowledgeable! Friendly! The sales guys are very attentive and took their time with me. Teaching me and answering my questions. I had a lot of questions. Lol. The parts guys at the counter were very freindly and ordering and delivery was prompt and accurate! The Technician for BMW, Zack, the kid is super quick and knowledgeable. Knows his stuff! Steve Bixler, the owner, we talked about a lot of things. Bike choices. Speed, safety, accessories, handling, comfort. The list was long. It was and is a joy to go in and just hang out and talk more and order new stuff for my BMW R1250R. Thanks Guys! God bless you!!

I got a friend named Rich. He bought a new BMW from them. They had it for 6 to 9 months for warranty work. He had to actually buy another motorcycle to ride All they like to do is stall. I don't think they know how to work on anything. That's my opinion My other friend Rick has a goldwing took it in for insurance work. He told them it was going to be $10,000 and they're going to Total the bike course. Then they went ahead and tore it all apart after he told him that charge some $250 to pick it up Course they had it for a couple weeks. The mechanic went on vacation so that's $25 a day. Storage. Laugh out loud Sure, take your bike there if you want to get ripped off I'm not taking anything there

I went to Hap's for years before moving Up North. I bought my 2009 BMW R1200RT there, had it serviced there several times, mostly recalls and warranty issues (stupid fuel strips!). Once, while waiting on the repair, the service guy left in mid-repair, turning my 2 hr wait into a 4 hr sitting in the customer lounge. Speaking of that, some effort needs made in there. The remodel was sorely needed and well done while allowing them to remain open the whole time. The lounge area is basic. Some chairs, a few magazines, a TV that might let you watch something or might not. The staff, from service to sales to ownership were always friendly and helpful, willing to chat when things were slow, let you test ride a potential purchase. I even 'test rode' a bike to retrieve my wallet once when I stupidly left it home. They even assisted me loading the bike onto the trailer when I moved. Good folks all around.

took my bike in for something that should have been under warranty. it wasn't. worse yet, they didn't fix it, the problem came back on the ride home. Then I needed new tires. during that service they told me it was cheaper if I got the tires there. I found a good deal on tires and called to see the price diff if I brought my own tires. The guy said it used to be different, but wasn't now. So today, I called to see if I needed an appointment. They told me the price was higher if I got my tires from them. A consistent story would be nice. Fixing the bike the first time would be as well... I moved here from TN where I had an awesome service shop. Maybe my expectations are too high because of that, but I'll find another shop. It won’t let me respond, so here’s an update. The fob is a symptom. It’s on almost every ride in the warmer days. A garage remote won’t work near the bike if it’s on. A car parked next to me and wouldn’t arm until I turned the bike off. I mentioned all of that for context. The problem is the bike sometimes acts as if there is no battery, just completely dead. The only way to get it to come back to life is to disconnect the battery and reconnect. I mentioned all of this. When y’all were done I was told it was because of the low voltage code. I mentioned it was prob because I had to disconnect the battery a few times to get it to work. I was told that was the issue and resetting the code should fix it. I understand needing more time or trips to troubleshoot. I not only have the factory warranty which it should be covered under, but the extended warranty that covers more than Honda does. I asked why it wasn’t covered and was told it was because I caused it by disconnecting the battery. I was out stranded and someone on Facebook told me to try it and it did. Me disconnecting the battery didn’t cause the issue. I was ok with not fixing it. I don’t understand why it wasn’t under warranty. I was going to write Honda. I get all that on the tires. When I called, he didn’t act new, he told me y’all “used to charge a different price, but don’t now. I told him I was in last summer and was told the price was different. I wanted to see the price difference to see if it would be better to buy the tire there or elsewhere with the price difference. If he were new, that’s not a good explanation he had. It’s frustrating to be given different prices like that. Had I been given correct information I probably would have got the tires there.

Absolutely LOVE this dealership. Always available and even enthusiastic to service my BMW and my Triumph. I have other bikes that unfortunately have to go to their respective dealerships for service because of warranties, but I'd much rather bring them here. And I will when the warranties on my other 5 bikes expire. Prices for service are surprisingly reasonable, staff that you can tell genuinely cares. I really feel lucky to have this dealership available to me in sarasota. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Just made a purchase from Evan and his team on a 50cc Honda crf dirt bike. I went to sarasota powersporsts and Barneys and both dealership played the typical games. Haps took care of me. They also took care of me quickly and was overall a great experience in the business office. Bought some pants and detailer spray and the ses/service guy was nice also. Thanks Haps my boy will be excited come Christmas morning.

Hap's Cycle Sales. What a great experience! This was our 1st visit with our Honda trike. Their mechanic listened to the sound, when we turned it on, took it inside immediately and diagnosed a bad spark plug. We had them change all of them and our trike is as good as new. We took it home the same day. Price wasn't bad either. They earned our business, and our word of mouth to all we know.😊👍

Very nice people and were willing to help with any questions. They didn't make me feel dumb when I asked questions and when they had to teach me things about the bike. I appreciated them not pushing me to buy something and letting me test drive the bike. Definitely would recommend.

I purchased a 2021 Honda CBR600RR. Overall the service and sales process was white glove. It started a few days before the purchase when I reached out via phone to ensure the motorcycle was still available, and has a few questions about what all Brands for gear they carry in-stock. I spoke with Steve for about 20 minutes. He was asking me questions about how I intended to ride and provided me insight on what gear he would recommend for my style and use. When I arrived to complete the purchase a few days later the same service was extended in-person, walking me through all the features of the motorcycle. I had cash in hand to purchase so the paperwork process was quick and painless. They due offer 10% off all gear/equipment for the next 6-months after purchasing with them which is great too. This family owned business made my purchase super easy, friendly, and enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back to them and would recommend anyone to work with their team. A+.

Hands down the most incredible purchasing experience i have ever had. The Haps team is a class above any other retailer or dealership. As the other reviews say the family atmosphere is first and foremost at every single point in the shopping process from online inquiries to in person showings. Steve, Alice, Sara, Ryan, Gary, Bob, and the entire staff took incredible care of us from sales, service, parts, and all the financials. I never write reviews. Ever. But I’ll make an exception for the kind folks at Hap’s. I have a Harley, and have been going to the Manatee Harley dealership for service on my bike. They do good work at Harley, but my goodness, you’ll wait FOREVER to get your bike back from them. A simple hose and a taillight took them A MONTH to fix. So imagine my delight when Hap’s had my bike in the shop the morning after I called to make an appointment, and then had her up and running in an hour, to boot. Pleasant conversation with both the owner and his daughter while I waited and there were free donuts on the counter. To top it off, I was a pain in the butt customer, honestly. I had started the repair myself, made it worse, and brought them the mess to clean up lol. They took it all in stride and still charged me half the price the Harley shop quoted. Win, win. Almost immediate service for half the cost.

Just had my first service done on my recently purchased k1600 grand America. Bob and the crew in service were awesome and easy to deal with. I will continue to drive the hour and a half for service from here on out! They saved me big $$$ on my service compared to other dealers I spoke to and the dealer where I purchased the bike. Haps just got a new customer!

Next week is my first service for the Rocket Roadster and I wanted some accessories installed. A very knowledgeable parts dept. suggested I re-think my original plan, explained why and offered an alternative that cost less money. Maybe YouTube isn't always right... just wish they were in Ft Myers...but worth the drive.

I have never had such excellent service. My bike was maintained better then anyone has ever done and I've been riding for about 4 years now. It feels like a brand new bike, thank you for the excellent service. I can see why this business has been around for 65 years.
