The best local farm store. ❤️ the vibe. ❤️ the hand written signs. ❤️ the bakery section, indulgent. ❤️ the fact the people working here all seem unusually happy.

Wow! What a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as meats and cheeses!

I was told I needed to check this place out when I moved here. It was super busy and hard to find a parking spot but it was worth it. They have tons of fruit and produce and were passing out samples as you walk around the store. Their meat prices are very competitive. They also have a deli make to order sandwhich area. There is a donut area where they make fresh donuts and yes, they are passing out samples there also. I had to try out the fresh strawberry milkshake I had seen on TikTok and it didn't disappoint. I will be back to get other items as this was more of a check it out trip.

It’s the only Detwiler Store that I was very disappointed in when getting my ice cream ? fix for the day. They have the best ice cream but the serving size here is nothing compared to all their other stores. I went out of my way to shop here and get ice cream. Won’t happen again. ?? Love Detwilers

Tremendous service. Great selection of quality products. Fruit and vegetables are fresh. It's very crowded store because everybody seems to enjoy shopping there.

Such a delightful place. We purchased Stone Crab Claws, Keylime Pie and Strawberries with pound cake! Fantastic products and prices. Can’t wait to go back!

Eat fresh for less at Detwilers. You'll find a large variety of fruits, including exotic fruits along with fresh vegetables, large variety of deli meat and cheese, fresh butcher shop and fresh seafood that are in season along with those that are out of season.

Love this place! Fresh fruit and vegetables, incredible baked goods and all the staples you need. My go-to is the acai bowl, freshly made and priced fairly. Friendly staff make shopping a joy!

The ABSOLUTE BEST meats, seafood, deli and employees in Florida. I REALLY, REALLY WISH, They would bring a store to Lakeland or even Tampa area. I'd skip publix all together ❤️. And I love publix. Okay, these were the beef ribs I bought and grilled.

Plentiful choices of fruits, vegetables, bread and meats. Knowledgeable staff are very helpful. Don't miss the ice cream after checking out. Parking can be an issue, just be patient.

Parking lot is small, be safe getting in the store. It's great, I was charged 3.99 for the 1.99 strawberries?? The free insulated bags were a nice gift.

It's a really nice store. Great produce, and meat counter. Also serves sub sandwiches made to order and has hot soup that was delicious.

I didn't go into the store. Parking is limited and there were no spaces. Signage on the building is very poor and difficult to see from the street. Building looked small and run down. Overall impression is that this store is not up to the Detwiler's standard.

1 mile from my house! AMAZING, FRESH food, fruits & veggies. Local made products and harvests. Wonderful, kind staff. Prices are amazing! Tons of organic options! Best place in town for organic, fresh meats, seafood, cheeses, fruits, veggies, baked goods, canned goods and more!! Shop smart and shop local!!! Will never go anywhere else!!!

Small market. Hard to get into, limited parking. Produce is excellent. Made to order sandwiches. Great deli. pre cut and packaged on sale deli items . Full service butcher shop. Super cute pumpkin patch in the front.

Only place I get groceries from now. Fresh sourdough bread. Tallow fried potato chips. Fresh cut steak with one cut always on sale. Farm eggs. Love this place.

This place has it all and some! Our favorite grocery store in the Tampa Tampa Bay area! Wish there was one in the Tampa area. Fresh, local ingredients every time we stop by. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s a must!

I love with this store the moment I walked in!! Awesome local farm fruit and vegetables! ???????????? Here is a machine for peeling and cutting pineapple ? Huge selection of milk. There is completely raw milk ? Offers the highest quality seafood and meat. And btw, today's catch of fish is in a wide variety. Bakery products delicious! There is the best tasting largest pretzel ever ? And an island of locally produced ice cream - very tasty! ?? Special thanks for the clean restrooms! and many many many more!

Great fun, friendly staff, fresh items and a lot of variety with budget friendly prices. Most of the items I chose supported the local farmers. The place was packed when I got there and stayed that way until I left. Was a 5 ⭐ experience ... until I got to the register and then tried to get my basket full of items to the car. I had met kind helpful workers all over the store but 3 young people watched me struggle to get my packages back into the cart, not a single offer of help when one of them fell and a customer jumped forward to help me. When I got outside a Very large delivery truck backed in and I could not get my groceries into my car or me out of the handicapped spot. I noticed the 3 young cashiers standing by me watching the truck. It was a real nightmare trying to squeeze out of the parking lot. Now things like this happen on the best of days so not a problem with that. As far as having difficulty getting help ...I will make sure to use one of the registers at the back of store or outside the back door, that way, I can still recommend this market to most visitors. I had difficulty with a cane as the aisles are crowded with stock an customers. I would keep that in mind.

We bought fresh ears of corn and they looked fresh picked. Lots of produce, seafood , and deli, along with fresh pickles and other staple items. Items not normally found in the big retail stores. Try the Birch beer (soda) Unique and tasty.

Love love love this place! This is my go to when ever I'm in the Sarasota area. Fresh food, hand made pies, right out of the water fish and spectacular service. What I like most is that although they've expanded into multiple locations, the family atmosphere is clearly still present.

Just smelling the fresh fruit and vegetables upon entering was enough to give Detwiler’s 5 stars. Oh the strawberries were as fragrant as any fresh strawberry could be without cutting them. We could almost taste the sweet tasting morsels just by passing near them. I needed assistance locating what I was looking for and I found a kind, helpful staff member who instantly led me to the location. Had I been shopping for home and not running an errand for someone else, I would have lingered longer and perhaps grabbed some Cooper cheese. Yummy. And there is more than cheeses and fresh fruit and vegetables! Deli items! Meats! Most everything you need to make a great healthy, or not, meal. Everyone around these parts is familiar with Detwiler’s and I am extremely pleased they had a location near where I was needed.

Guys, this place is a sea foodie's paradise!!! We had heard so much about this place from friends. They kept telling us to go and check it out because we would love it there and the deals are abundant.... They we're right! The staff was amazingly friendly, they even showed our boys fish heads, which our smaller boys thought we're cool! The gentleman tending the seafood section was very informative and super friendly. The establishment was very clean and kept up. Everything there, that I saw, was fresh, including the bread. If you're looking for natural peanut butter and real fruit jam, this is also the place. It reminds me of a Trader Joe's but more down to earth, and the prices here on the sales just can't be beat! I'm highly recommending this place! You have to come here and check it out for yourself! You will not be disappointed! I Normally don't give out 5 star review, but with fish so freash that it has no odor, 5 STARS!
