Bad communication with this place also bad service they took my $75 bucks for diagnostic then told me to bring it back then when I did dude act like he didn't remember me
Had a motor put in my car. Couldn’t get it started needed to communicate with the computer. Took it there all they did was Start the car. Charged me $125 for diagnostic and $750 for starting the car. The engine light stays on & it says no communication to tmc. Very dishonest people. Please do not give them your business. All they want is money, don’t care if you ride or die. But God got this 🙏🙏🙏
I had them Mount and Balance 4 tires and tpms sensors that I provided on to some aftermarket rims. The reason for this, was I wanted to keep my factory wheels, tires, sensors as a backup. Unfortunately during the install the aftermarket sensors were not compatible so they had use my factory sensors off my others wheels. which I'm fine with. To my surprise after the installation they charged me $350. Which is beyond what I was prepared to pay (tire stores typically charge $100 to mount and balance 4 tires onto rims and having to remove the old tpms to reuse maybe $75) but these guys charged me double, and to make matter worse the tire were not properly balanced, I had to come back the next day get them rebalanced. I was a long time customer before this occurrence, and have always liked Diaz, Not sure what's going with this place but they lost a customer because of this incident.
A mistake was made on my tires came in at 430 they close at 6 they told me to bring it tomm even though I drove all the way from tampa looks like they care more about taking care of the money coming in then fixing what they did wrong safe to say I won't be coming back
This is the worst place to get your repairs, they price gauge and say it’s something when it’s not or they “fix” something and then in a week or two the problem persists and you have to go in and pay for something else that they say is causing the issue. They dont take accountability for errors made on their end and they have horrible customer service skills. Take your money elsewhere!
I’ve been a loyal customer of Diaz for years, trusting him with my car because I believed he was honest and trustworthy. Unfortunately, my recent experience was nothing short of disappointing.
I brought my car in for repairs and noticed outrageous price gouging on the receipt. For example, I was charged a diagnostic fee, even though the issue had to be identified as part of the repair process. When I confronted Diaz about these charges, he couldn't even look me in the eye. Suddenly, there was a "language barrier," and he claimed he didn’t understand me.
The most shocking part? He charged me $1,000 to replace my alternator. I called two certified mechanics afterward, and both quoted me nearly half that price for the same repair. I trusted this man with my business for years, and this is how he repaid that trust.

I went in for a Diagnostic, in 25 minutes they straight up told me I needed a whole new motor on a car I drove there. He immediately gave me a price and that was it. After I left this place 3-4 other mechanics told me that this was insane based on what the issue on my car was. Had a second mechanic do a diagnostic. Tells me right away that my motor is good. He changed a $80 relay. My car needed nothing more. It's running perfectly with the "motor that needed to be replaced" The mechanic that fixed my car says they have history and only care about $$ and screwing people up.
My alternator was going out. I called about 5 other repair shops in the area, and they either couldn't do it or didn't answer. Only one other was able, but it would be after the weekend. The woman that answered said they could do it that day, and I'd have it back within an hour. Also, the price was significantly cheaper than the other shop. So I stupidly tried to make it there since it was close. It was about 1 pm and My car completely died in the middle of the the Memorial and 98 intersection. I called them, after I rolled my car out of the way, and she said he would tow me for a fee. He showed up in 10 minutes and loaded it with ease. I waited about an hour for the repairs and it works fine now. There is a year warranty on the parts and 6 months for the labor. Thanks for all the help!
This place is horrible they change my spark plugs and coils an burnt one of ignition coil and didn't tell me and they did not put all four of the of the courts on and when I went back to AutoZone AutoZone show me and said why they only change three and did not put the other ones on and I specifically asked the mechanic why did you blow my coil and why didn't you put all four on and he tried to say I bought it like that but once I showed him the video of said no I did not I record everything I bought so anyone does the work on my car can see that no parts was damaged but they are known to take your money make you come back cuz they get no services because everybody speaks bad of them even auto parts stores know that they are really bad so now I got to drive way to Tampa and have a guy to do it for cheap cuz he charged me $125 to change out my stuff and I had the parts and the guy said he shouldn't even charge that high but I just wanted to leave this bad review because they are horrible nasty services and everything and the lady knew to keep me coming back that's why she asked can I go inside she asked me can I go inside of the building when I sit and always watch them do the work and I was like why do I need to go outside I'm not going nowhere just so they can mess up my car to make me come back
First time getting work done at this shop good place and the people were good had a good additude.did a computerized wheel alignment and all the wheels are aligned recommend coming here if ur in the north part of Lakeland Florida
This is my trusted mechanic I truly appreciate this auto shop they are reliable they provide towing if needed. Father and Son's fixed my vehicle the same day and it wasn't really expensive. I'm definitely not going to any other auto auto shop.
Don’t waste your time they did an alignment on my truck with bad ball joints when my tires wore out on the inside and the belts were showing also their faults I brought the truck back 45 days later after the alignment and they told me my ball joints were bad to replace them and bring it back so I replaced them. I brought the truck back today and they were going to charge me $90 to redo the alignment that they align with bad bold ball joints I been a loyal customer to them at least own up to the mistake just care about money not the safety of drivers
This place is terrible. I definitely don’t recommend it. They do anything without ask end charge you. Plus they do bad work to you car and make you back.
Never take your car to these people. I went for a oil change and messed up my engine. I have knocking sound and my car won’t accelerate over 40. And it’s overheating. Plus the customer is the worst. The lady at the desk has bad attitude. I had to call the police on them. If you’re not Latino or white don’t look to have good service.
Was really good place now things have change up they tried to charge me for something I didn't need . I figure it out still a good place but over price everything
The family are very professional, friendly and personable! The workers are very knowledgeable about anything to do with mechanics! The prices are very reasonable and the work they do is excellent and most of all they are very honest! I also like that they are Christ based!!! I went for the first time and I was impressed with the service customer which you do not see anymore!!
The people here are great. I always take my car there because they do good work. I have a 2006 Ford taurus that needed a fuel pump and they got me in same day, All around great place.
Very bad at diagnostics. They suggest you fix parts that do not need to be fixed. They charge 80$ just to run a diagnostic test and in my case charged me 400$ just for me to drive home and realize my car still has the exact same problem. I bring the car back to them and they want another 300 to fix the same problem I brought the car in to begin with smh. Literally charged me 400$ for nothing and took no responsibility in wasting my money and time. Receipts mean nothing they don’t care how much you send with them. They over charge for parts and labor. Make sure you only need a simple small fix if you bring your car to them. They also broke the motor mounts on my car and wanted to overcharge me to fix it. They tried to include labor twice over knowing they had already taken the car apart for the job they were already doing smh. They even want 100$ for an oil change. I’ll never spend money with this company again. Maybe it was just a bad experience for me but this was my experience with them smh big 👎🏻
By far the best in town. They did a job for me for $125 that Pep Boys quoted $489 and most others in town quoted $300+. As a stranded traveler from out of state they were a Godsend.
They had got my vehicle running, over $500 dollars. Afterwards rpms was acting up and vehicle was jerking. Took it back, to get fixed; paid over$500 again. Took it back because I was stuck in traffic over 3 hours because of a accident and vehicle started acting up again. This time over $700 was estimated price for fixing it. Diagnosis was supposedly on the first time but I didn't get a print out of what was good and what was bad. Only gave me a paper of what was fixed with a price and what was suggested. Couldn't rely on quality of work and reliability of great customer service.
Very unprofessional is to say the less. Me and my boyfriend brought our Vehicle to get our rims taken off and replaced with the original tires. Ran into a lil issue and was told that giving it almost closing time he will keep the truck and give us a call the next day and give us our options and pricing. Well he gets a call 9am saying it’s done and when he gets there nothing is done not even the tires was switched out, what we came to the shop for was done. And charged us $187 and told us he doesn’t want the job. The owners was completely out of line and rude and responds she was rude because my boyfriend was rude to her but who wouldn’t be upset if you got to pay for something that wasn’t done??? I Wouldn’t spent another dollar in the dump. Waste of time and money
Bad customer service. Charged me for a oil changed and tune up when there was a updated sticker from Lakeland Ford from recent oil changed. When I went back to discuss why I was charged for oil changed when I did not request one and sticker cleared showed I did not need one. He tried to cover it up and say that tune up is included with oil changed which is not the true and not what we discussed. Refused to resolve issue did not even apologize for the issue. I should have known not to continue to let him work on my car when he started to replace my back brakes when I had came in to have front brakes replaced. I had to run outside and tell him it’s the front brakes not the rear. Do not let these people work on your vehicle.
I have to say this place is awesome I usually do all my mechanics myself. With my job across the street I don’t have very much time to fix anything I came in a while ago with an emergency on my Jeep Wrangler the oil filter housing was cracked leaking oil everywhere and I had a busy day at work these guys fixed it in no time flat, tonight they replaced my upper ball joints and wheel bearing assemblies and did the alignment, I have to say they are the best shop that I have delt with in a long time they are honest and willing to show you what’s wrong!!! I definitely will keep using them for any and all issues with my Jeep !!! They are far cheaper than the dealership and the quality of work is beyond anyone’s expectations!!!! I highly recommend them to anyone that needs they car or truck worked on !!!!!
