This was the closest AAA repair shop to my car when the engine light went on recently. Laurie, the repair shop representative, was working late and was so understanding and friendly that she relieved my frustration about needing repairs and a ride home. It was already dark, and Laurie accompanied me to the sidewalk in front of the store so I could flag down the friend who was coming to pick me up. Although this shop is very busy (a good sign!), they care about their patrons and treat them courteously. My repair was delayed a day because the warehouse sent a defective part. It was frustrating, but better than having another breakdown. In sum, Joyce does high quality work with friendly service at reasonable prices. AAA members get a 10% discount on part of the cost. I recommend them. I'm adding that I was so pleased with their service when my car was towed that I took it back several weeks later for front brakes, which I knew I needed. They ordered parts the day I made an appointment, completed the job in less time than estimated and for less than estimated. I'm even happier now than I was for my first experience. Sally and Brandon took care of me. I appreciate their diligence and recommend Joyce for auto repair. Appointments are highly recommended since they are always busy.

They fixed our son’s AC, brake switch, changed tires, oil changes, and kept his car safe for traveling back and forth between college and home. They were patient enough to wait on parts after installing a part that was not correct. Even made a gasket could not find the part. Pulled the radiator and had it checked out free of charge. Plus no charge for pulling and installing the correct part the second time. Took awhile, but they did a great job. Saved me 500 dollars to boot made my day.

This was my first time visiting Joyce. Right off the bat the front desk staff was warm and friendly. Marc was the gentleman who helped me and did a great job. It was a Monday morning and they were very busy, but despite that my oil change inspection was done in a timely manner. Needless to say, I'll be back.

Took my vehicle here for a front brake job. Charged me $688 for front brakes. Two months later, they were almost worn down. Took it by there and showed it to them and they agreed and said they were still under warranty no problem bring it back and we’ll take care of it. I called and let them know I was bringing it in on my only day off of the week and that if I dropped it off the night before, could they possibly get it done in the morning so I could have it back early. They said sure no problem. I’ll order the parts the day before so we can get that done for you they said. It gets to be almost 3 o’clock in the afternoon and I don’t hear from them so I call them and they tell me there’s nothing wrong with the brakes after initially telling me that they could see they were worn down. So at this point, I’ve wasted an entire day because they’ve done nothing. Now they’re going to put pads on it and tell me give them 30 minutes. It took them about 30 minutes to do it. And originally they charged me $688.for a 30 minute job I know it only took 30 minutes because I sat there and watched them. A couple of days later, I noticed that the centerpieces to my rims were not on the front two tires. I called and told a gentleman there what had happened and he told me he would get right back to me and never did. Two more days past so I called back and told them that I was missing the two pieces and that they were over $100 a piece because I’ve already replaced one.They tell me that they spoke to the person that did my brakes and he said that he tried his best to put those on, but could not get them on tightly and that it was a poor design. No offer to buy me two more. All they have to do is go to a junkyard and get them, but they didn’t even offer that. Just said it was a bad design and I guess it’s my problem if I want to have them replaced to the tune of about $250. These people are straight up clowns.

We were having problems with a shimmy in the tires that we had just replaced at another shop . Apparently the other shop did not balance the tires, did not check the air pressure and was not able to do an alignment on the vehicle. Well JOYCE automotive could and did do it all. We call in the morning and we were able to have the entire service done by early afternoon. While waiting we observed many customers coming in and on the phone. Everyone that works at JOYCE was professional and caring. Especially Lisa and Lori and service tech Antione. Thank you for helping visitors in a bind. We took our Highlander to Joyce after getting an estimate from Toyota for $1800 just for labor for the issue we were having. Having been to Joyce before and very happy with their service, we felt comfortable leaving our car in good hands. My experience was not good at all. I have been doing business with Joyce Automotive for a while now for a major reason, that reason is you guys offered monthly payment plans which made you stand out from every other mechanic. You no longer offer that, taking away affordable automotive repair. Instead replacing it with a program called easy pay that I’m sure most people cannot qualify for. That’s the first problem the second problem was a woman from the back office came to the front and reprimanded a new employee in front of customers stating what she did was not professional….what is unprofessional is you coming to the front and telling her what she did was wrong not only in front of customers but also in front of other employees. I am very disappointed in my experience with Joyce Automotive and will no longer continue doing business.

I took my Alfa Romeo Stelvio to Joyce Automotive. It was my first time dealing with this automotive repair shop. They were very helpful and professional. I knew they were top notch and serious about customer service when I entered the office and encountered 3 receptionist. Sally, Brandon, and Marc treated me very well, took care of my vehicle and it didn't break my bank account. They have 21 Bays (each with its own lift, ) and multiple mechanics on duty to make sure you get Speedy,Quality, and professional service. During a recent visit to Sam's Club on Highway 98 in Lakeland, my vehicle experienced mechanical difficulties. On Jan 13,2025 I broke down on i4 at about 7:30 pm. I have Geico road service and Joyce auto service towed me to their garage with a tow truck. I left my car there to be serviced rather than having it towed home. I just want to say both tow truck drivers were very curious and polite and helpful. I wish I remembered their names. After waiting 2 weeks to get my car back I want to again thank Joyce for giving me a ride to their garage to get my car. I highly recommend Joyce auto towing and repair

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The only people there worthy are Brandon and Laurie! Go at your own risk to this business! I’ve been meaning to give my feed back for a couple of weeks. Let’s start talking price. The price is comparable to the bigger car repair shops but not with any kind of amenities. If they were cheaper it might not be a problem but if you charge like say Lakeland Toyota but don’t offer the same I feel like I should have taken it to them. Also this place is not the place if you want a fast turnaround time. Please don’t think you will be there for anything less than all day. Please avoid the disgusting man that they have at front who you can smell before you see. They hire people who don’t know what they are doing. They are learning at my expense??? The girl at the counter knew nothing and her mediocre excuse was she is new! Then conveniently the Asian girl can talk about her hair to my parents but had to google stuff when it came to telling them about their car! Even then I cant understand why the man (who I can only assume is the manager) is so disrespectful to the team. Honestly someone should tell the owner of the horrible way he is treating his employees. I met the owner a couple years ago and I know he would never let anyone degrade his employees the way he does and specifically IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. This is just not the company to support anymore.

After 2 failed attempts from AAA to tow my vehicle, saying the vehicle was a 'recovery' and after 3.5 hours of sitting on the side of the road, sun setting, in an area I'm unfamiliar with, I was told to tow it myself, that AAA wouldnt touch my vehicle in the condition it was in, and it wasnt even in a collision, just made a u turn with my 2009 chevy impala. Engine cradle pops off, engine on the ground with my axle. Needless to say, I called Joyce Automotive for assistance with their flatbed Towing service. At 630 pm, having a 24 hour service is AMAZING. Live people answering the phone too. Fast forward to the next morning I received a call, which I missed, and also received a text message and email with a quote. I called back and spoke with Mark, my first of MULTIPLE phone calls. He was kind, understanding, soft spoken, reliable, knowledgeable, HELPFUL among everything. I may have missed every single phone call he ever made in an attempt to reach me, but he never wavered from being this kind of person on the other end of the line, and for that, i am incredibly thankful. The job was HUGE. $6k was the 1st quote. Bye bye car? Right? WRONG. Mark and his fellow technicians in the MULTIPLE garages they have did a phenomenal job getting me safely back on the road for SIGNIFICANTLY less. Is there still work to be done? Yeah, absolutely. Do I trust and put faith that Joyce Automotive is fair, reasonable, explains everything they're gonna do to your vehicle, have pictures to show you, let you approve or deny any job they're gonna do, are highly knowledgeable, won't try to nickle and dime you into poverty, and even have payments plans that can help pay over time for the work they're about to do because you feel so overwhelmed and anxious? Would i let them do the work? ABSOLUTELY. Thank you, to everyone there who either had to be confused by how this damaged happened, worked on my vehicle, got me safely back on the road, spent countless times on the phone trying to get a hold of me, just everyone there. Our car quit while on vacation in the area. We had car towed to Joyce based on AAA rating and reviews. It was determined that the alternator had failed. They immediately started ordering parts to repair the car. We called our regular repair facility back home, who had replaced the alternator recently. We discovered that there was a nationwide parts and labor warranty on the alternator. Sally spent a lot of time on the phone with the warranty company to get the work authorized. She also got one of the other employees to take us back to where we were staying, so we didn't have to sit in the waiting area all day. It was not a company "shuttle" car, but her own personal vehicle. Thank you to Joyce Automotive for getting us back on the road the same day, and for the personal caring service displayed by Sally and the other staff.

While traveling in our RV, my check engine light came on notifying me of problems with my catalytic converter. I contacted Joyce’s automotive and they were friendly, polite and professional, and I was able to get an appointment immediately the following morning within several hours I was able to have my truck Diagnosed and the issues resolved and I was back on the road. Joyce has made my 2011 Subaru Outback much safer and easy to drive. The backup camera is on the rear view mirror. When it went bad, vision in the rear view was obliterated. Joyce managed to find a replacement (they're no longer made) and it made driving and backing up so much easier. Ditto the fix for the tank for the windshield washer. It stopped holding fluid and Joyce's trouble shooting saved that as well. A much-needed brake job and oil change fixed me up. I got regular updates on the progress of the repairs and the price I paid was literally 1/4 of what my usual place (the Subaru dealer) would have charged. Joyce has a new and very satisfied customer in me.
