We took our vehicle to Maurice's for repairs following an accident. Couldn't be happier with the work they did and the communication provided regarding the repair status and expected completion. Highly recommend Maurice's for repair work.

Maurice's Auto Body does absolutely amazing work. But DO NOT allow Kevin to be the one who handles your work and claim. His communication is horrible. He goes weeks without communicating then always has an excuse as to why. My truck was damaged and the repairs were being paid for by the valet company who damaged it. He gave me a quote and they accepted the quote. They made payment in full directly to Maurice's. Kevin ordered small OEM fender flares for my truck instead of the aftermarket larger flares I have on my truck. He had no excuse as to why he did this. I gave him the info for the correct flares. He texted me and gave me the new price. He never bothered to send the price or collect the payment for the additional money from the company who was paying for the repair. I finally picked my truck up today and had to pay the additional money out of pocket. His excuse was that he didn't have any information on who was paying. Even though they communicated with him directly and paid the initial amount directly. All in all, the payment was made and parts supposed to be ordered on Sept. 8th and I just got my truck back completed on Nov. 6th. Two Months! And when you complain no one bothers to address you at all. They just sit there with a blank stare on their face. No calling a manager. Nothing. As good of work as they do, I would never recommend them if you have to have Kevin handle your claim. Get someone else, or go somewhere else instead. EDIT... I wanted to take a moment and tell everyone that the owner contacted me and made everything right. THANK YOU!

Went in for a quote, everyone was professional and upbeat. Kevin helped me and was quick but attentive, very nice place!

Geico had them as a body shop for an accident. I will never use them again. Desiree p definitely doesn't care about anyone but herself. Dropped off my veh the 24th. Told it will be done the 31st. Got updates thru out by a text. Desiree called me the 29 and told me everything going great done by the 31st. I call the 31st cause I got a text saying everything is set for pick up layer that day. I call and confirm. I get told by Desiree yep everything good they should be calling u no later than 230 pm. 2 pm comes no call 230 comes no call I start calling. I go up there to find out they are closed early for new years. Ok fine call next day they are closed.... fine.... call today Desiree then proceeds to tell me the bumper that came in was damaged and they had to order a new one and it still hasn't come in.... no courtesy call saying they going to have my vehicle for another 5 days no I'm sorry I got told well she just order the parts and can't controll if they come in damaged.... but she can actually do her job and call her customer and let them know there was a problem. Do not recommend I wouldn't bring my car here ever again if my life depended on it added pic of damage it was a simple bumper replacement

Maurice's Auto Body did an outstanding repair to my vehicle. Their customer service is fantastic. If ever I need a body shop, Maurice's will be my first choice.

Maurice’s repaired a minor dent/gouge on my truck. The work was perfect, quick and came in under the estimate! Highly recommend.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at Maurice’s Auto Body Shop. Following an accident, I entrusted my vehicle to their team with the expectation that the necessary repairs would be completed thoroughly and correctly. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. Although the shop repeatedly assured me that the vehicle had been fully repaired, I was forced to return multiple times due to recurring issues. The check engine light — along with various other dashboard warnings — continued to illuminate shortly after each supposed “completion” of service. Each visit resulted in little more than temporary fixes and vague explanations, leaving me without confidence in their workmanship or diagnostic capabilities. The ongoing inconvenience, additional time without a reliable vehicle, and lack of consistent quality control were unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Maurice’s Auto Body Shop to anyone seeking competent or trustworthy repair services.

Not happy with the communication. I have to keep calling to get the info of my vehicle. I was suppose to get a call last Thursday on my car parts and I am still waiting. I filled out a form to call me back. Still waiting

Brought my 2012 Jeep Wrangler in to simply install a passenger side marker light. Quite frankly I was expecting to be upset with a high estimate for the seemingly simple task at hand. They fixed it complimentary. Wow. I wasn't expecting that! This place is the best! If I or anyone I know needs body work, this is where I highly recommend! Customer service +++ Also, if you require an estimate...ask for Kevin McLeish. Kevin is polite, professional, & extremely knowledgeable!

I was so annoyed that my car got impounded due to someone else's trouble and I had to drive from GA to Fl to get my car. I tried to make it on time before they closed to avoid another fee for it sitting there but couldn't. Demetrius worked with me to get my car. I was relieved to have his help.

dropped my wife's car off this morning and got a response back within an hour. quick and reliable, great peeps here for the community. if you have any issues with your car, bring it here. they will treat you right!

Super service, had a fender bender on a Tuesday-car back the next Thursday. They were commutative, prompt and professional. I would highly recommend if you're in the unfortunate need of auto repair.

My decision to have my vehicle repaired at Maurice Auto Body Shop was the best decision I ever made! The paint match was perfect, without having to fully paint my vehicle. The staff were extremely nice and friendly. All concerns I had were addressed immediately! Thanks!!

They went above and beyond and took such great care of me and my car. Everyone was kind and I was updated regularly. Will take my car back there if I ever need work done in the future!

Take almost 2 month for fix my car i ask for estimated for a back accident to be repaired at the same time never get back nothing i ask for fix a door that was on the accident they don’t do it and later come with a estimate for more than $1000 for a dent in a door after more than a month with the car they return my car with a lot of scratches car leakinf water from the windshield replacement but they said dont worry is under warranty you can bring the car anytime like i have more time to lose with them without a car plus car leaking water and a lot of dirty inside the answer is just bring the car back i can take care of them after loss time they want me to loss more time with my complaints because they can take care of them on time

Outstanding, I would highly recommend this body shop. Very impressive. Staff was very professional and helpful and courteous.I am very Glad I dealt with this shop. When I need any kind of this work done again I will definitely do business with them again. My opinion, Best shop in Polk county 😜.

Awesome place! A friend of mine recommended this body shop. I was very impressed when I first walked into the facility , it’s nice and clean very inviting. Customer service and staff were nice and professional.What blew me away was the outstanding , excellent and perfect body work that they did on my car. The manager was very courteous and welcoming. I did not know I couldn’t wait for my vehicle. The manager was so nice , he had a worker to take me home. I highly recommend this place!! You will never regret it. Thank you for a job well done!!!

Been there two times and don't have a complaint about either one. They did a great job and when my vehicle came back it was nice and clean. I would not have a problem with taking my vehicle to them again because they are great at what they do and they are so friendly and willing to help in any way possible.

I took my car to Maurice’s for work after an auto accident that I was rear-ended in and the liable driver’s insurance worked with the shop. The entire process was made very easy from start to finish, I was informed the entire time and my car was returned within a week. When I got my car back it looked better than before I bought it, it was VERY clean - inside and out as well as tires shined! I could not be happier and will definitely be back if I ever (unfortunately) need a body shop again!

Had Maurice’s repair my car from previous accident through my insurance company. I appreciate how hard they worked and also the quality of repairs. Nick assisted in minor issue I had post repair and made sure that it was handled! I dealt with Sharon a majority of the time and she was amazing. Thanks Maurice’s!

I've known Maurice since I was a young man. I've always known him to be honest and hard working. I just had my car towed to his auto repair branch of his thriving business. It didn't surprise me that Maurice's tow truck driver, Jay, is cut from the same cloth. He was courteous and hard working. Thanks for sending such a great young man Maurice. He made what could have been an anxious experience a pleasure. Keep up the hard work Jay!!!

This company was recommended by the auto insurance company of the person who hit me. Was told repairs would be done in 3 weeks. The accident happened Aug16 Maurice got my car Aug 20th. I got my car back Oct 29th. I was told my car was ready on Oct 18th but when I went to pick up my completed vehicle I noticed my front bumper was cracked down the middle and my right rear tire was leaning in a 40° angle. Also my car had writing all over it and was not cleaned. I brought it to the Owners attention and he agreed more things needed to be addressed. Which he did get fixed and I got my car back finally fixed 2 weeks later. So far I only had to return next day due to tire pressure sensors were not hooked up on rear tires. I've also had to take my car to have the tires re balanced bc the rear tires were not properly balanced. So because I did finally get my car back cleaned and FIXED I'm giving 2 stars. But I do not recommend this company for major vehicle repairs. Small repairs yes but not full car repairs. Pictures are from accident. I was side swiped out on Hwy 60 on Aug 16th 2024.

What a great place to go for auto body repair work. I was referred there by my insurance company and I am so glad I used them. Everyone I worked with was so pleasant, including the owner who came out when I didn’t understand one of the line items on the repair sheet. He was so friendly, the lady helping at the front desk, the estimator, they were also so friendly and patient helping me navigate this process after someone hit me. They all made this so easy. After I began to tell people what it happened and where I took my car, I heard so many positive compliments about Maurices. The quality of work was outstanding! I’m so pleased with their repairs and paint. I would recommend them.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff, waiting for repairs to my truck to be made and will post an update on the outcome. Now I've got my truck back. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! We first met with Nick the owner and he seemed very nice and we felt confident that his shop would do a good job. We checked his reviews on Google and all seemed fine. 2 weeks they had our truck for fairly minor repairs to the driver side door and fender. When we were contacted that we could pick up our truck, OMG! IT WAS HORRIBLE! We noticed many things right off and Chris our rep told us to bring it back that following Monday to get the stuff fixed. The paint didn't match, there was over spray EVERYWHERE! There were parts in the back of our truck that we literally picked up and handed to Chris and asked if he needed those - THEY WEREN'T EVEN OUR PARTS! There was trash inside our truck, there were bubbles and creases all over the vinyl trim pieces, they didn't replace parts they charged our insurance for and they didn't paint some new parts. While we had it over the weekend, we found even more things... They literally took a grinder to the paint inside our door under the door panel and grinded the new paint off. There were many chips of paint gone where they hit into it with things. We decided to take our truck to another repair shop to get it repaired correctly and we got approval from our insurance to do so as there was no reason to take it back to Maurices if their work was like this there was no hope! When we arrived at the new shop they couldn't believe their eyes either! The horrible work Maurices did was nothing short of unbelievable! How can a shop that has been in business for so long do such horrible work? I MEAN HORRIBLE! As if they put a group of kids on our truck and said do your best! Once the new shop did their inspection, they found that Maurices had not blended the paint which was obvious, they had also not put the bolts back into the bumper brackets and it was just shoved into place. They couldn't believe that our bumper had not fell off! Then they found that our driver side headlight had been chipped away on the top while they tried to pry bar the fender in place. Our fender was jammed up into our hood and our door had a horrible air leak. We are not hard to please people and the new shop has done a great job fixing our truck. For Maurices to do such a horrible job on our truck is again... unbelievable! Truly unbelievable for ANY body shop to do this kind of work! They did not even reach out to us to apologize or try to make anything right. Our insurance rep is charging them for the repairs that the other shop had to do to make our truck right again. BEWARE OF MAURICES PAINT AND BODY SHOP IN LAKELAND FL!!!!!!!!!!! They are shaddy and do not do quality work... not even beginner work! Its was flat out HORRIBLE work! From Maurice's: We are very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your repairs, you do have a full lifetime warranty at our shop but we understand you did not feel comfortable bringing back to us for whatever reason. To Maurice's: YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING! A lifetime warranty with you???? I had to take my truck to another shop that had to literally UNDO everything you did, then start from scratch along with having to repair other stuff that you all damaged! AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY IS CHARGING YOU FOR THE REPAIRS SO PAY UP! You will NEVER have my business or anyone I know ever again! I'm not the only one you all have screwed!!!!! People are talking! ! You need to be OUT OF BUSINESS! Your work is unbelievably horrible! You are the absolute worst body and paint shop I have ever dealt with in my 50 years of life! You are sooo bad that other shops are shaking their heads at you and your horrible work! They cant believe what you did to our truck! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE OF MAURICE'S PAINT AND BODY SHOP IN LAKELAND!

I trusted that they would provide a quality repair because they have been around a long time and they are a State Farm recommended vendor... I hope that has changed after I showed State Farm the poor quality work that they said was acceptable. When I picked up my car the paint on various parts of the car were several shades different. They told me that plastic bumpers show paint differently than metal. I told them, yes but it matched before and was nowhere near this different. The car was still dirty but somehow painted. See pictures. The gaps were poorly adjusted and the hood stuck up. The manager told me it looked fine to him. Then I noticed a new dent in the door jam by the front fender and they denied that as well. They told me that I had to come watch hours of their security cameras to show when they damaged it. I told State Farm they could figure it out or make another claim and lose all of my business. Fortunately I had photos before. After arguing, they kept my car another extended period and returned it washed and with the dent removed but no other changes to their poor paint work. I took the car to another shop to have them measure the color difference and that shop turned out to be another State Farm shop. They worked with an adjuster who agreed another $1800 of repairs were needed, and they let me know that Maurices "glued parts together rather than replace them"! Their paint is peeling already. I promised Maurices management that they would find this story on the internet. All I wanted was indemnification... the internet is forever, and so is my bad paint job. I will tell my friends to stay away from this shop.

Speaking as a repeat customer over several years, Maurice's Auto Body is the only business I trust to perform quality work on my camaro. Nick (and the rest of the team) are always professional, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and timely with their assessments and work. My car is always returned to me cleaner than the condition I leave it in, and they keep me happy by knowing just how to exceed my already high standards and expectations. They stand by thier work, and it's refreshing to work with a business that treats you like family. Can't thank them enough!
