Steven helped me out BIG time this afternoon. My car broke down on a Sunday afternoon 90 miles from home. He showed me the very best customer service. He showed me so much kindness and understanding at a very stressful time. He quickly got me an estimate. Both trucks were busy but one had an eta of about 90 minutes. He knew that I had a long drive home and had his nephew Jay/Jason come, take my payment, and secured my car to wait for the flatbed truck so I could get home. Both Steven and Jay were so kind and helpful. I truly appreciate everything that they did for me. Thank you gentlemen.
Stephen answered Sunday Easter morning right before he went to church with his family and had me set up early Monday morning to get the company diesel in the shop. Extremely grateful for him answering his phone and staying professional about everything!

I can’t say enough about Steve, the owner of City Limits of Lakeland Towing. When I was stranded at 2 AM, I called multiple towing companies—most didn’t even answer, and the ones that did told me to just leave my car at a 7-Eleven until morning. That wasn’t an option for me.
Then I called Steve, and he actually picked up! Not only did he come out to help me when nobody else would, but he also went out of his way to give me a ride home, which he absolutely didn’t have to do. That’s just the kind of guy he is—kind, caring, and truly dedicated to helping people.
And here’s something really special: Steve wasn’t just a tow truck driver that night—he was a genuine, down-to-earth guy who made a lasting impression. As we talked, he spoke about his family with so much love and pride. He shared how amazing his wife Donna is and how much she means to him. He also bragged about his children and even had me look up his son on Instagram to see him racing cars! It was an honor getting to know him, and it was clear that his family is his greatest joy.
Believe it or not, I was Steve’s very last tow in Florida! He’s officially closing up shop and moving up north, and my call was the final one he took before closing up shop. I feel incredibly lucky that he was the one who answered when I needed help that night.
Steve, you broke the mold for what I expected from a tow truck driver. A true mensch and an all-around great guy. If you ever need a tow in New York—find Steve!

So one of the worst things to have to do is get a vehicle towed. Very few good experiences with tow companies until now. How refreshing it was to find a company that actually cared. Made sure my vehicle was taken care of and that I was ok. While loading the vehicle we talked about family like we had known each other for years. Waited 9 hours for AAA to still not show up due to high demand calls on I-4. I then called city limits and they had gotten to my car within 20 minutes right on Easter Day! Definitely came to my rescue!! Also love the fact that most of his proceeds go towards Autism Awareness! Absolutely fantastic service! Other company’s wanted to charge me $120 to tow my car 5 miles to the dealership. This company did it for $75 👏🏼! What was a sad moment (letting my old car go after six years) was quickly turned around with all the laughter and great energy radiating from the owner! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tow in the area. Great guy, and some great service! 10/10!
It’s almost 3 am and we have been saved yet again by Steve! I had his number stored safe In My phone for over 3 years and he picked up my call of distress and was at our location in 20 minutes time. I didn't even realize that it was that early in the morning. Your reassurance was a welcomed calmness to the loaded truck dilemma. And we will most certainly distribute your contact number to our fleet for superior service.
At 5 am I gave them a call for a flat tire tow they came quick great customer service and bend they back for me so I won’t be stranded looked up a place for tires for my car which is hard to find tires for a wide body charger and made sure I was ok. Steve was great I appreciate him. Definitely if I need a towing they will be my first choice.
After calling around multiple towing services and the sheriff’s department, I found City Limits of Lakeland towing service. Steve was absolutely wonderful to talk to, his energy is unmatched. Steve and Donna arrived quickly as promised and had the vehicle hooked up even faster. I cannot say how thankful o am for their time and how quickly they worked, as well as how wonderful they were to talk to. I will be using them and recommending them for any of my towing needs.
IDK what AAA and all these Towing companies based in Pinellas County got going on with ETA's & No-Shows. Had us waiting 9 hrs w/car til we couldn't wait anymore. When aaa should've just called City Limits of Lakeland Towing Services 12 hrs ago. I highly recommend C.L.of L.T.S.. They were right on it once aaa decided to call them. Not to mention, they are an hour+ away from pick up and then another 45 to drop off. They definitely did not have to take the call, BUT, they did.. The one that was texting me was funny, apologetic when it wasn't even their fault, kept me in the loop with update and still professional.. I'm sure the driver is just as pleasing.. Update: driver was just as pleasing to deal with.. THANK YOU AGAIN, City Limits of Lakeland Towing.
