They towed me when I 1st moved here almost 3 times during the holidays. The 3rd time, I was set up & blocked in while a neighbor called them & had them come to tow me. I'm a single mom of 3 &. Disabled. So I parked in the handy cap spot to carry a Christmas tree in from my u haul pickup truck. Literally was less than 3 mins & then got back into the truck to find that the neighbor had parked her truck in front of mine blocking me in. So I sat there waiting (mind you she had 3 vehicles & this complex only allows you to have 2 max) she took the spots everyday in front of my building yet she didn't live there. She called your tow company, your tow company came & of course could not tow due to me being in the vehicle so she had no choice but to move so I could leave. She was not disabled by the way. The 1st time I was told 1 price over the phone, then went to the Old gunpowder office and was told to pay a higher price. Anyway I have a question, why do you have a phone number that is not even in service? I believe you towed our car in the middle of the night which there was literally no reason for, I parked as I was told by an officer specifically to avoid being towed. Now your the only tow company left that I haven't spoken to due to your company not having an active number of contact.

My Benz was towed 2x from my complex Duvall westside.and Informed the driver before I was a resident here but they still chose to prey on my car for the pangio parking which I set at 1213am the car was already gone on a Monday night this is crazy I pay 3k for rent and these tow drivers are off the hook I will move my car not dealing with this foolishness

My car just got towed from MY assigned parking spot. Was “offered” a discount to try and make it better. Predatory just like everyone else stated.

$175 impound fee (cash only) so you will have to make a stop at the bank. they require registration and valid DL to pick up your car also they are definitely not open 24 hours

This company assisted me when my truck was broken down. I suffered technical difficulties and when I requested a tow for my truck they scheduled a pickup time that was within reason ( 40 minutes) . When the driver and tow truck arrived the driver inquired about my vehicle's issue. After explaining to him that the belt snapped he offered to tow it to a local mechanic that was familiar with the repair needed. The mechanic performed the fix within one day and they charged a fair amount. All in all this company's support was timely, helpful and got me and my truck back on the road without any issues. I highly recommend them to anybody that's in need, they're friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.

These people are lower than scum. They THRIVE on predatory towing in low income neighborhoods. They tow without any consent from the apartment complex owners. They prey on people who can’t afford to have their car impounded. These people make me sick and I hope karma comes around.

It's never fun having your car towed, but Victor at the counter made it as painless an experience as it could be. He was kind and sympathetic and very quick and efficient to help me get my car back.

So no one likes getting their car towed but the lady/owner was the sweetest and principled person I have ever met in that situation. She actually made the process super easy and straight forward. Nothing but good things to say about this company.

Towed my car from my apartment, refused to bring it back, made me pay a 25$ fee for coming after 3pm, they have signs that say I can pay in debit but the lady says only cash, been over an hour and still no receipt, they keep a dog caged up next to the front desk, lady not wearing a mask inside. Absolute hell hole.

They tow my car for 10 minutes. the guys Was rude.he asked me if I pay cash or card, what kind of work they do, he told me if I pay cash he I’ll a charge me $100 if not 150 um very disappointed! He also refused to gave me my Receipts

When I needed my car towed to a local garage for repairs these guys did a great job! They showed up just when they said they would, and charged me a very fair price. I saw they got some bad reviews on Google, but reading them you see those are from people who didn't expect to get towed (for illegal parking or whatever), while the good reviews were from people like me who actually needed towing services!

Got towed during COVID-19 while families are being laid off and people are struggling to make ends meet, charged 150 to return my vehicle, spoke with the person over the phone and he stated I should contact my community and tell them to stop towing enforcement, come to find out my vehicle appears to have been damaged from that incident, the rear right speed sensor was ripped off its harness. Not looking for sympathy nor pity just speaking facts.

1. This company should be ashamed of itself. While towing can be a vital service, the owner of this business has decided to make PREDATORY TOWING their bread and butter. They have deals with several lower-income apartment complexes in the area and they scour the lots every night in order tow people with no money for any reason at all *just* this side of the law. The minute my registration expired, before I had a chance to put the printed temporary registration on my rear window, I wake up to a missing car and a $175 impound fee. These people are bottom feeders complicit in a system that punishes the poor. What’s ironic is that their employees make $10 an hour (as they explained to me) and are likely the very people that Drive Towing screws. Despicable. 2. We waited 45 minutes for our car today because no one was on site during business hours. I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to take a car and then offer no earthly way to retrieve it. Oh yes, it’s called hijacking.... 3. I hope the better business bureau (or the owner’s good conscience) turns things around here. 4. If the owner would like to grow a conscience today, they can start by refunding me their sky-high impound fee, plus paying for my time while I waited for an employee to show up. I would welcome their call.

These people at drive towing are criminals, they illegally toward my car from my apt due to a registration lapse that i didnt know about, without tagging it first as required by the apt lease contract and md law. I let it known to the apt, and guess what, during the show cause hearing day, they provided a picture of my car with a green tag which I never saw on the car until that day! They are criminals, they went back to my car after i got it back, before the hearing, put the green tag on it, took pictures to discredit my case, and removed it right after cooking up the fake evidence. Moral of this, please people, make sure to take pics of your car once you get to their impound lot to get your car. I plan to sue them in a court, they must provide time print from the camera the took the pictures with!

Towed my car illegally tonight in clear violation of mountgomery county law. Can’t wait to see them in court. Only way they can be taught is by filing a lawsuit. I encourage all others who have been wronged by this company to potentially join in a class action lawsuit against them.

The Saga continues... Id have to say the most un-knowledgeable tow truck company ever. Towed my 92 f350 and charged me $400 because my truck weighs more than 10,000 lbs. Sent these idiots a picture of the door sticker and it said GVWR was 10,000lbs but had no GVW listed. Took me 4 hours of phone calls to get a refund. And several google query screenshots! Talk about idiots!

My car was towed illegally infront of my home where I pay HOA fees for 2 parks directly in front of my home. I have been towed 3 times prior by them. My PARKING lanyard was visible causing them to release my car With no payment needed. When asked to provide pictures verifying this was in deed a legal Towe, the manager refuses and told me he will show me anything. Working with my HOA association to get to the bottom of this. Horrible experience

I was towed twice by this company. The first time was for expired tags, and whereas I understand I am technically in the wrong legally speaking, I believe the practice and contract that this company has with my management office is unethical. I say that because although there are rules in place, there is no grace period. I was towed on my move-in day. I was told I could park by the church and I can not (Which I learned). I've been crashing in Northern VA because I can't park at my own house. I need to transfer my tags to MD but it does not appear that the management office offers any concessions to new residents. The towing fees are ripping my life apart and I'm too afraid to live at my new house, because the only 2 nights I attempted to sleep there I was towed. How can this be OK? Even if they can find the technical legal jargon to justify it, what does it matter when there is no workaround? Where should I be parking when I need to live and drive to work? I am hoping to find security footage of my vehicle being improperly towed with a hook instead of flat-bed towed so that I can at least recoup some of the financial and emotional damage this has caused. I believe there should be a contract that warns VALID residents before they tow their vehicles, and I also believe the contract should have a 60 day stipulation for new residents, so that they can transfer title to MD even if it has been expired in the old state. The state of MD has a 60 day period for you to register and title the vehicle in your new state of residence, so that seems fair to me. I find the practices here to be terrible. They have been relatively nice, but I can't live at my new house and the 2nd night I slept there I couldn't sleep out of fear from being towed. Legal or not, it's unfair and stress-inducing. Oh, I also forgot to say that they are aggressive in that they tow every single night (which implies my management company is probably cutting themselves a slice of that fat cake). That's why I'm crashing in VA, this isn't just a melodrama :P

Person responding to the phone was rude and told me directly he does not give a S_ _T about my issue and hung up on me twice. My rating is a negative 5. My mother (she is 77 1/2) had her car towed from our visitor's parking with a valid guest registration permit number because driver confused PA (the state) with part of the license. See receipt and guest parking permit. Guess we now will need to paste guest parking registrations on the windshields as defense against inept towing companies. I am recommending our HOA cancel their contract and engage another service provider who is a) polite and service oriented and b) who will make things right when an error has been committed.

If I could give them negative stars I would they are VERY unprofessional, the dispatch Kristine is rude, they came and Towed my Vehicle from my parking spot, (I was told there is no way to prove that it was in the spot when actually there is I have a GPS tracker on my vehicle that says it was at my address as well as a camera monitor in front of my house) While I was Carrying my One year old in the house from the rain, ( because of them my son will miss his doctors appointment in the morning so I will be suing for his medical bills as well) I literally saw the driver pull off with the vehicle and he didn't stop! I had a parking pass and everything!!! I will be filing a police report for my vehicle being stolen by them and charging me which is unethical . This place needs to be shut down! I definitely plan to SUE THEM!

These people are unethical liars who claim to be opened 24 hours but are only available 8am till 5pm. They tow your car at night, don't open early enough for you to get your vehicle then by the time you leave work they are closed and you have to wait 2-4 hours for them to collect $152 and give you your vehicle. The idea is that they want you to take leave to be able to get your vehicle.

The BBB gave Drive Towing an F rating and I agree. This company is VERY unprofessional and DOES NOT know how to talk to customers. I simply called this company because I needed them to tow a car out of my reserved parking spot. The nasty young lady with Drive Towing did not even allow me to finish asking my question before telling me that she has 4 cars ahead of me...this women HUNG up on me...I wonder does she talk to all her customers like this or is it because the majority of her customers are minorities and she feels like she can get away with it!!!

this guys are thieves and, idiots, f***** !!!! I wish they get sued as a company and, losse millions of $$$$$ The manager sucks he is an arrogant rude sucking fellow. Does not know how to talk also to people. First they illegally towed my car from park side inspite of having a temp parking permit, next I wanted to make a credit card payment but they tried and said machine is not working and asked me to pay by cash. I believed them and paid later only to find that my credit card too was illegally charged $175 so in the end I payed these thieves/criminals $350 of my hard earned money and, the reality was I owed them nothing. I called them many a times their manager is himself a thief/criminal and what not he was so rude my god and lied to me saying I did not pay at all by cash and had paid only by credit card. But the thing was they charged me twice. This was completely unacceptable and they are thieves who just care for looting peple's hard earned money. On the top of that These guys did not even gave me a valid receipt so I could no way prove my bank that I paid by cash and win the claim against them. the receipt they gave me does not include any details like method of payment, etc and it was hard to prove my bank. I should have seen this properly then itself but my bad. When I called them umpteen no of times for the receipt my god that manager was so rude that he said they cannot give receipt to me again as they already gave me and, it is not their responsibility. Complete lack of Professionalism and, these guys are criminals/ thieves/ looters and what not !!!!! @Sidney.... You took a right step dude for suing these guys, Let me know if you need any help and, I will do my part for making the case stronger against them.

The person who picked up the phone was really nice and helpful. As for the driver, he was ABSOLUTELY rude. With my many attempts to be polite and respectful, he was just not suited for his line of work. I had explained the situation very carefully and thoroughly. Afterwards, He was persistent on getting the message across that he did not want to waste his gas/ time for a car that shouldn't be towed regardless of me insisting I had checked 4 times. He then asked a question that I had already answered 3 times prior. Finally, he said he could not tow the car until much later. So, the end result is that regardless of how much he REALLY didn't want to waste time/gas towing a car, he ended up wasting MY time with a question that I had informed him of in the beginning of the conversation MULTIPLE TIMES. How could someone who has to deal with people ALL the time for a living not be good at it? I understand getting a rude customer or even someone who is mad about getting their car towed as that happens all the time. As for me? I just want my reserved parking. Thank you so much for not providing the deligence or care necessary to handle the situation. Ignorant people. It's no wonder why the towing company has such low ratings. No matter how much you respond to all the bad feedback, you can never deny that basically ALL the feedback is negative. Edit- Just got another company to tow the car for me. Good game.

Towed our van from under a tree where we usually parked for the past 4+ years. Called, the lady said $300 because of the weight? At the same time, I was told by police it should be $165 plus $50 additional per day. Taking people hard earned money this way is absolutely not right, this is uncalled for and unworthy.

The f**k is this place? First off, it's not 24 hours! Thank you dumba$$ that answered the phone. Second, what kind of hood rat people did they hire to handled their phones? Simply answer the question of if the damn car is there or not. I don't need the run around. And lastly, it's literally a backyard. Not a car lot but a residential backyard. And you have to talk to someone through the side window, like a fu*king drug transaction. The hell?!

GEORGE was incredibly bombastic and RUDE to me on the phone. The guy CUSSED AT ME (after he had my car towed), then he HUNG UP ON ME while I was calm and in mid-sentence!! Can you believe it? George - you're taking people's cars from them - you need to lighten up and be nice to the community!! You took my car, yelled at me, then you joyfully took my hard earned money... You're absolutely unbelievable, George!!

They are defiantly criminals. Once they tow you they dont notify you, and the worst is that the car got towed for expired tags but they were supposed to give us a 10 day notification ahead of time but we were never notified.

I'm glad I called. A man answered the phone, gave me a price and gave me a time that someone would show up. Sure enough someone came by filled out some paperwork, paid him and he took my car to where it needed to go. Both men I dealt with were pleasant and professional. I would absolutely use them again.
