I had my car inspected at Fort Meade Auto Center. I made an appointment on their website, which was very easy to use, and it made the process very straightforward. The inspection took just under two hours (my car is ten model years old - it probably would've been faster for a newer car). My car failed the initial inspection because the windows were tinted past the legal limit in Maryland. Fort Meade Auto Center does not do tint removals, so I had that done elsewhere, and when I came back for the reinspection, I was able to get in and out in about five minutes. They entered the inspection results into an electronic system and the MVA received them pretty much immediately (I went to get my vehicle registered about half an hour after the reinspection passed, and the MVA had no issues finding the results). Overall, I was very happy with the service - the process went smoothly, the price was reasonable, and Woo (service advisor) and Morgan (inspector) were both very professional and efficient. I would recommend having your state safety inspection done here!

Staff displayed great customer service, giving excellent explanations for diagnosis and comprehensive feedback. Work was completed fast and without delay from scheduled appointment. At no time did I ever feel ripped off or upsold on additional services. Although it was my first time here, I felt like I was being taken care by an understanding and honest shop that I’ve been using for years. I will definitely come back.

Getting my car inspected at Fort Meade Auto Center was the best decision I made. From start to finish, the staff were very professional, welcoming, & understanding of my needs. Even when it was brought to my attention that a vital tool needed to perform the inspection was missing due to the negligence of my dealership, the technician politely explained the situation to me & they ensured that I was provided with the soonest date to return to complete the inspection. Overall, I give Fort Meade Auto Center a high recommendation because they really do care about their customers & it can be seen from the service they provide. They also don’t overcharge you like other shops do for similar services, which is something I appreciate. Additionally, the environment is kept well clean, which is a rarity nowadays when you go to repair shops. Fort Meade Auto Center will likely become my go to shop for my car repairs/services because my dealership has shown me that they don’t care or value me as a customer, but rather see me as an ATM machine.

Got my 2014 Ford Fiesta in for an oil change and to have some warning lights diagnosed. Everything was fixed when I picked it up for a reasonable price. Will bring it back for anything else I need.

Was looking to get a simple diagnosis for a check engine light. I was told I need to schedule an appointment for next Tuesday. Not doable for me for many reasons. Asked for assistance to get the hood open so I could check the oil. You would think if I explicitly asked the man to help me open the hood…one would think I have a reason to open it and know what I am doing. But you know in a modern society, men love to be condescending in these spaces. As I pulled the dipstick out to check it and prepare to add oil he said “You don’t want to overfill it.” Well obviously, like did you not just see me check the stick? I cancelled my appointment because I was able to get the diagnosis the same day by Lalo’s Mobile Mechanic, got the repair completed, and had the light removed.

This is the only place I will bring my car when it needs work. They are reliable and reasonable. The customer service is great.

I had my state vehicle inspection and the repairs done here. The staff are all very helpful and polite. I called and had all my questions answered thoroughly and patiently before committing to an appt. The day of my inspection: the employees again were very professional and friendly. Inspection took 2 hrs(which I was informed of at the time of making appt). If you're like me and have to wait, they have an extremely small area to sit and wait-4 chairs touching side by side and a TV overhead. There is a place to eat next door as an option to waiting there. They explained the inspection findings to me and offer 10% military/DoD discount on labor if the work is done with them. I feel they are trustworthy as the major finding was something that I was already aware of and the smaller items were shown to me. Are they the cheapest for MD? The inspection fee definitely is less than reviews I've seen for other places. For the work I had done? I did not shop around. I just went with them because I had time constraints and needed it done ASAP. They performed the work a couple of days later and there is a noticeable improvement in my ride. They also were nice enough to drop me off at work so that I could leave my car. Great customer service and I would definitely return as a customer. 4 stars only because of hours of operation and the waiting area.

Oh my God!! So…I had a flat in the middle of the night. I left a text message on the website and the next day before 8:30 am, I got a text. The gentleman at the front desk was very informative and knowledgeable. As I went to the rear window in the waiting area, the manager and his staff were working hard completing tasks and creating smiles for customers. The manager, even though busy, made me feel like I was the only customer. The individual that actually repaired my vehicle let me know that he saw some other minor issues and said he would take care of it. He did. The whole tire debacle, was not so bad once they got on the job!! I really appreciate everyone for being so professional and patient.

The mechanics were very friendly and helpful. The qouted me a fair price to service the A/C in my vehicle. Got me in and out quickly and easily with functioning A/C again!

Moving to Maryland, had to get my Inspection done for both Cars and i picked Fort Meade Auto Center. Guy at front desk was very welcoming . Dropped my first car at 9 am and picked it up by noon then i dropped my second car which i picked by 3 pm . Pretty prompt service and great prices. 2019 AUDI Q5 - 89$ (Inspection Fee) + 72$ (Needed Wipers Change) 2024 CRV Hybrid - 89$ (Inspection Fee) . No issues since only 4 month old car. I did call a bunch of places to get prices for Maryland Inspection and these guys gave me one of the best rates.

Excellent mechanic shop. I usually do my own work but I needed urgent repairs on a neglected Chrysler Town and Country that was scheduled to be shipped across the country in a few days. Thankfully this place had an opening the day before the pickup was scheduled. They worked with me to get a work order set up and they ordered all the parts in advance to be ready on the day of the repair. Repairs were completed that day. They fixed a severe oil leak from both valve cover gaskets, replaced the PCV valve, and mounted tires and programmed TPMS on my front wheels. Work was excellent.

The team is very nice and accommodating. I was able to get my car inspected and I had an issue with my tint being to dark, so the team gave me recommendations on where to go to get it removed and allowed me to bring my vehicle back to “pass” the inspection test without hesitation. Very easy to work with!
