I came by the store this morning and bought a battery and a couple bulbs from Andre. He was very helpful and had a great attitude. I will be driving out of my way to frequent this location from now on. Our local store is very disappointing in comparison. 10/10 experience! Keep up the great work Andre

I was changed $15 to replace garage remote battery. The clerk could have just sold me the battery and told me how to replace it, it’s sad how ppl do any and everything to take ppl money. People these store owners workers are savage, look up everything on YouTube before doing anything it will save you money. Just sad and ridiculous.

This location never opens on time. Twice I have sat and waited while the employee is 15 minutes late and getting themselves together and still won't open the door. Don't waste your time. Go to a different location.

I bought a battery from this store in November, and after just six months, it stopped working. When I brought it back, they refused to honor the 30-month warranty, claiming the battery was drained and not charging—exactly why you’d expect a warranty to apply. I was told a manager would follow up, but no one ever did. Very poor customer service. I definitely don’t recommend this place—take your business elsewhere.

Highly recommend this service. They were prompt, communicated easily through my email, were timely, and the price was right, AND they recycle your old battery. The staff were knowledgeable and very helpful.

Will highly highly recommend you find elsewhere to purchase batteries, place is a joke. Bought a battery from them in May 2024 which came with 24 month warranty. Fast forward to December 2024, battery was not holding charge. Go in on a Friday afternoon at 1pm place reeks of weed and workers just sitting at the windows on their phone. I get told that they can’t warranty my battery due to manager not being there (funny since you didn’t need the manager to take my money back in May). Got told to return at 5:30pm because that’s when the manager was going to be in so called at 5:32pm prior to returning to store and manager answered the to proceeds to tell me that he was leaving, luckily I live nearby and showed up before he left, the clown then said that they can’t warranty the battery due to not having voltage. Welp wouldn’t you know. If it had voltage I wouldn’t be here to begin with. Warranty system is seriously a joke and a Waste of money.

Great service and they had the exact motorcycle battery I needed for a great price. I also got an added discount by leveraging an online offer and simply picked up my order within 30 minutes of placing it. I'll definitely be shopping here going forward

I was able to buy online and get an installation appointment within the next hour. They replaced the battery in less than 15 minutes, saving me time (and saving my back - car batteries are heavy!). My vehicle takes a slightly uncommon battery; they had it in stock and it was highly rated in CR. The person I interacted with at the store was friendly, polite, and efficient. Great experience!!!

Been there about 5 times. Very inconsistent, the front desk associate is always high on something. They never have any parts to replace a key fob. I repeat do NOT waste your time or money for service there. They need to do a serious commissioning on that place. Period.

Went into the store to get an ac adapter. I brought a printout of the product I found online. The front employee was immediately rude. She went over to get the product from the shelf. I went with her. She turned around and went back to the counter, leaving me to find the battery myself Ordered and left Realized it was not the correct ac adapter. Came back to the store within an hour and a different employee Wow, also attitude Not going back

I just placed an order from one of your stores in Laurel, MD for an item listed in stock. The order was not in stock. When I called, the representative at the store was rude and pushy and was combative on basic questions. I asked some basic clarification questions such as alternative options, and was spoken down to in a condescending manner and rude tone. I was polite, not rude, nor upset the item was incorrectly listed on your website. I have never seen such a lack of professionalism.

Store is clean and tidy and well stocked. Manager and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to test my old car battery in minutes and replace it in a just a few minutes more. Why would I go anyplace else.

I suspected the battery in my car was malfunctioning so I stopped by here. Had to give the 2 gentlemen kudos for assisting me (younger guy and his older manager), they assisted me with no issue and basically told me what I needed to do. Had to give a good referral because I had a bad experience at another location the night before trying to diagnose my car.

The women working the evening shift on Sundays is just horrible. Purchased a battery at around 4:15pm. Her attitude was horrendous. Was told that the store closes at 5pm so they couldn’t install the battery I purchased. My wife went to ask if we could borrow the tool to install the battery ourselves. She said to her colleague “ you’re not going to install it are you? Very horrible customer service experience. Luckily I was able to go the Rockville store and received 10000% better service.

I placed an online order and it was available immediately for pickup. All other stores in the area were out of stock. When I picked up the online order the lady that helped me was so nice and helpful. She even gave me some tips to start getting into fishing. Amazing experience. However when returning the core the person working was talking with someone else on his earbuds the whole time complaining that he had to help customers. He was also playing on a portable game console. Totally unprofessional.

Salesperson messed up the simple core refund. Said the credit card machine process didn't work, and she couldn't do it again to make it work. Later, it turns out she entered the refund as a cash one, so yeah, the credit process wouldn't work. She didn't give me the cash, I wonder where it went. She had a rude attitude, kept trying to blame me for the process not working. When I get home with the two batteries, it turns out they gave me the wrong ones, even though I had pre-ordered a day before. 60-mile and 1-1/2 hour round trip to go back and get the right ones. Maybe that's a case where you have the correct batteries delivered to the customer rather than have him drive back to the store???

They have the item I purchased at the best price I know. You have to know how to play their game to get it though. You need to buy it online, pick it up at the store and wait until they give the best possible discount (15% discount) usually right before a holiday

Buyer Beware: does not always support warranty. I am a "shade Tree" mechanic. Not much I can do these days, but I can replace a battery. When my 2001 Wrangler was slow in starting and the fan belt squealed on startup as the new alternator worked hard to replenish the battery, I figured the battery I bought 1 year and 10 months ago must not be holding up. (My other 3-vehicles also had batteries (Duracell) from Batteries Plus Bulbs.) When I brought the battery in with my receipt, I was told a test found the battery good. I explained that I want to replace the battery. I was told they would hold it for a day and test it some more. Working under gray skies over head, I took my battery to NAPA and exchanged it. Their prices can be a little higher, but their quality is always excellent and they warranty their products; no questions asked. March 13, 2023 1:47 Called Store Manager Mike. Unfortunately, he had no knowledge about the situation. He asked to look into it and call me back. March 14, 2023 1:33 Mike called and ask what he could do. I ask for refund. He said "I can't do that" and asked if there was anything else he could do. He did not give any alternatives.

The warranty is a scam. They test batteries in a way to not have to honor the warranty. I had a trusted mechanic check everything on the car and verify it was the battery not holding a charge. Batteries plus Bulbs first took the battery overnight and all they did was charge it and said it’s good because it charges. After complaining they then said they had to keep it another day and would see if the charge held and call me. They never called and I couldn’t wait that long since we needed to use the car. Plus the store near me closed so I had to drive 25 minutes just to get to another store. Went elsewhere and got a battery and no longer have any problems. Car runs great. I had been been buying batteries for all my family cars here but will not shop here any longer.

I bought a Duracell lawn tractor battery which I informed the sales associate that there was a rebate for it, and I wanted the rebate form. He gave me a folder with the battery, but when I got home, the only item in the folder was my warranty and receipt. I looked online, and the rebate form was not available on the Batteries Plus website. UPDATE: The store manager saw my review and mailed me the rebate coupon! Now that's what I call customer service! The sales associate was friendly and courteous, and the store was neat and clean. I'll be coming back there for my next battery needs!

Had a great experience here this morning! Manager Mike, Dave and the wonderful woman who works there we're so helpful. A special needs person was also there, and they were friendly and respectful to him as well. I needed a replacement bulb for my 3D cell maglite, and they stuck with me and tried several bulbs, finally getting me LED replacement for the halogens. they have the coolest collapsible buckets with lights in the bottom.

I had a great experience at the store. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. However, website was very misleading. Search showed price of battery at $89 but at checkout it was $125. Bait and switch. I will not deal with them again!
