This company feels entitled to drive 20 miles under the speed limit on commuter highways and roads during rush hour. I will personally make sure that no city or county that I live in will ever hire them. I suggest that private parties and companies do the same. If your company is willing to hurt the common good by causing literally dozens of cars behind them to be late to where they’re going, you deserve to go out of business.
Incredibly reckless drivers of their pick up truck. Just saw one almost hit a student, didn’t stop and peeled away at Beach and Connecticut Avenue in Kensington.
This recycle company can do way better.. Their employees… Some or at least one I have seen on my street throws the bottle containers, or slides them across the road..and the cardboard large containers the same.. That is why they crack.. Now we know it’s a hard job lifting everyone’s trash but it’s a job and if you can at least treat the neighbors containers with some sort of respect then maybe you are at the wrong job…
THE GUYS WHO PICK UP THE THE RECYCLES ARE TERRIBLE, they leave my trash bin far away and not infront of my house and they toss all of the bins that’s why they are broken. They want to do everything in one minute and that’s why THEY ARE VERY CARELESS ABOUT OUR CONTAINERS.
I don’t recommend this company, BAD COSTOMER SERVICE
U ask they don’t answer lol but can drive why on cell phone , ashamed to ruin a trash company, Ashamed for unity name but thats how employees are really should have cameras on trucks so watch how they drive threw neighborhoods ? If they dont listen why should they be in company vehicles?
I wanted to take a minute to thank Unity Disposal in general and Mr. Reginald Patterson in particular for doing something completely unexpected last week. We have a house full of guests and our trash can was 3/4s full. Somehow it got missed on trash day and when I came home from work, I realized to my dismay that it had not been emptied. The next day I called Unity and a very helpful lady said it would be picked up on Friday but again when I came home from work it was still full. I left the trash can out in the hope that someone might still come to get it and lo and behold...Reginald came all the way from Baltimore to Bethesda, early on a saturday morning, and emptied our trash can! It was such a wonderful surprise and I am so grateful that Unity are a team where everyone does what they do to the best of their ability and then some -- an increasingly rare quality these days and hence that much more appreciated! Thank you so much Unity Folks!
The never picked up my trash worst company ever. Called to asked why they didn't pick you my trash and they said they didn't know and they would send someone a week pass and no one came worst company ever they don't care about the community just the money
Truck no. 1020 I would give this truck n crew 20+ stars the crew is polite well mannered they get containers dump them n return them to right owners we need more companies and their crews to be like this❤❤❤
I asked this young man that was working on the truck he took paper out of the key and threw it on the ground and I asked him can you please pick that up he looked at me and turned his head so this is a picture of the guys at work on Newberry Road in Gaithersburg I do not living in A neighborhood where trash is all over the ground this is because of this worker that works on this truck
I liked the company so much that I recommended them to a friend on an association board that was looking for a new garbage company for their community. Today I watched from the window (my son loves garbage trucks) as the recycle group knocked over my leaf disposal trash can and kicked my recycle bin spilling items out. They drove away with recyclables littering my yard and a trash can knocked over. To make matters worse I saw one of the workers pause like he considered picked the items up for a second. I am more than slightly disappointed in the Carderock Springs guys today. Maybe they were running behind in schedule today because normally they are amazing. [3 stars]
Follow-up: No issues or concerns since my posting. As everyone knows sometimes we just have off days and apparently that was one of them for my garbage crew. [5 stars]
