I Was towed today and the staff hung up the phone, very unprofessional and disrespectful when I inquired about my car.. then he clocked out returned and took the key for the tow truck that blocked me in and I had to wait for him to return …. These tow guys are like piranhas. do your job the berating of customers is not necessary!!!!
This is the works company that probably are not making any money due to the reviews I have seen. We live in a complex who has a contract with this company and I guess they need it some money because their business is not doing that great which I can see with other reviews that I've just reviewed. I called the office staff her name was Mel to get information because I am going to be suing them she was very rude cutting me off when I was talking I asked to speak to the owner and his name is sal he returned my call and he was just as rude All I wanted was pictures showing that My handicap sticker was not there. I just want everyone to be aware that this is a terrible company and a terrible location and when I picked up my car it was a terrible sight. Everyone has said that they go around looking for cars to tow, The property that we rent from use them and they contracted with them so they can do tours to verify everybody is legit. We have been living here for over 7 years and I'm pretty sure they saw our car before but didn't have the common courtesy to think Wow I know they have a handicap sticker maybe they forgot.
I recommend nobody nobody use this business terrible customer service will take advantage of people just to make money if they want to make money they should be a nice company that people would love to work with but now they do it through trying to get money through ripping people off
People please be smart I had no idea please look up information about any towing company in Connecticut you have the option of paying cash debit or credit this company lie and it won't tell you the truth do not supposed to tell you cash only and they know this they don't care so please be smart look up any information about this company or any company know you're right
Someone who works for this company tried to tow my vehicle while I was briefly parked behind my mother’s home yesterday. I own a 2019 blue Honda Civic. I wasn’t even parked in my mother’s backyard for 10 minutes and one of your workers who had attempted to tow my vehicle claimed that I needed a permit TO PARK IN MY MOTHER‘S BACKYARD between the time of 8:40pm and 8:45pm last night. This is the first time that I have ever heard of this company and the fact that the only way that I had to hear about them is for them to practically bully me BY TRYING TO TOW MY VEHICLE FOR NO REAL REASON and act as if they’re trying to do their job, is ridiculous. This company NEEDS to reimburse my mother her money back for paying to get my car back and if they can’t do it, the people who they claim they work for, which is The Villages at Park River, NEED to reimburse my mother IMMEDIATELY if they are not able to do it themselves. They owe my mother $125 upfront. This is how people get sued. The man is around 6 feet, has curly hair, looks like he is mixed with black in Spanish descent, and is fat. He was very hell-bent on taking my vehicle and I am not going for none of that. I want that man fired.

I had called the company to make a report And the person who answered it was the person that illegally tried to tow my vehicle Last night. This man asked me questions talking about “how do you know it’s illegal?”. Mind you, he would not give me his name to make a proper complaint nor a report of the matter and hung the phone up in my face. I have the phone call recorded. This is highly unprofessional and unethical, and this is proof that this man who is running the company is performing illegal actions against anyone who he feels like bullying. If there are multiple reviews, besides my own, that have said the same thing, that’s how I know that is the truth that their practices are illegal. Also, if your company opens at 8 AM and closes at 5 PM, there is no reason why you should be out here doing any type of service after hours!
Disrespectful tow drivers. My car was taken with no visible tow warning signs, which felt completely unfair. I’ll be seeking small claims liability because I have time today. They were also rude to my child’s mother. When I called to address the situation, they hung up on me. Very unprofessional experience.
Lazy, and will never come when called. They service my apartment building and when i get off work late, i almost always have to call because people are unauthorized parked. They never show up, will never answer the phone after you call once. Will claim they do not have the right vehicle and will tell you to park on the street.
Unprofessional, terrible experience, mocking and antagonizing consumers, way overpriced. Messed up my drivetrain doesn’t want to take accountability. If dealing with them be prepared to take legal action
They’ll do whatever they can to make extra money, even if your car wasn’t supposed to be towed. The staff didn’t take the time to listen and overall inconsiderate and not friendly.
Come visit Cross Country Automotive if you enjoy making other people’s lives miserable because yours do. This place SUCKS!
Dealing with Cross Country Auto was a pleasant experience. David in particular was very helpful, knowledgeable, helpful and patient. I would recommend anyone to use the setvices this business offers without any reservation whatsoever.

Legit took my car for 6 days and never reported it to the police. Wasted my money and time looking for my car. Open and towing 24/7 in different towns.
They towed the car from a public parking for 2 hours while at the hospital with my brother and charged 240. Made us wait an hour and Careless of nothing money hungry. There’s a God and believe me everything done will be paid!!
Nobody wants to go to a towing service yard, but the process of getting my car back was seamless.
But a few things stood out to me:
It couldn’t have been more than six hours since my car was towed when I called Cross country automotive.
First thing I noticed over the phone was the arbitrary prices. The receptionist first quoted a big amount for my bill, and I had to remind her that it hadn’t even been 8 hours since the car was taken.
Then she corrected the price to the right legal amount.
Also, i realized she issued two different receipts to me. The second receipt was supposed to be labor cost, but that was already accounted for on the first receipt.
Then there’s the issue of “cash only”. They only take cash.
Put these three together, and it’s not a very good picture.
Aside that, there was no damage to the towed car, so there’s some attention to detail there.
Just read my name and you know wassup at my building cross country is really towing people that are in a designated VISTOR PARKING‼‼‼ and THEY ARE VISTORS ‼‼ I . Just. Don’t . Understand. I wouldn’t even recommend this company to my worst enemy. This place is a joke , the drivers and staff are a joke . We are contractors conducting official business and we are constantly getting towed . We parked in a lot that had plenty of spaces and we weren’t even there 2 hours . Today I watched an elderly man park on the side and walk his groceries in and they came and hooked up his car and demanded 150$ to drop it . I’m working in an elderly community and parking is at least a quarter mile away so I understand parking bringing groceries . Then moving it but the man’s didn’t even have a chance to walk back out . This is borderline criminal in my opinion . Karma will get them good . Ima put that out there.
Easily the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with ( the Windsor branch) the lady at the front desk is a complete jerk , she’s rude and very off-putting. If you don’t have to deal with these people , don’t got your own sanity
would give them zero stars if i could. absolute worst people ever. they damage and break people’s cars and then run away before they get caught. they are only out for money and they leave behind cars in the middle of the building’s parking lot.
Cross Country Automotive provided fast, professional, and stress-free towing service. The driver arrived on time, was friendly, and handled everything with care. Highly recommend them for anyone in need of a reliable tow!
They towed my car at my parking lot and scratched my bumper dent my exhaust my car sounded crazy they so careless about people cars they gonna have to fix it they playing games with me rn

Got my car towed from a place of business that I was actually conducting business at. How does that work if it says that parking is only for customers. I was a customer. Definitely not happy
Call someone else because they’ll never show up or worse if you call every hour to see if they’re still coming they’ll just say “oh it’s shift change so we’ll be there in a few minutes”.
Towed my car because of stupid Hartford police. They charged me $50 extra for a as after hour fee on Sunday when my car towed a couple of hours before!!! Crooks
