I started taking on a total rebuild of a 67 pony, no idea where to start, the inner webs pointed me here, was not disappointed to say the least. Every time I come in I've either got Andy an encyclopedia of mustang knowledge, Karen and the shops dogs keepin it real or Brian making sure Andy's in check:)
With any and every little thing these cars could need an answer is available, from better strategies, better parts, how to do it and what to use the answer can be uncovered here. If you could picture a place with barbershop vibes where men a woman could go to talk shop, this place can do that. Thanks for being in my home city, you're a gem.
I cannot state strongly enough what an absolute joy it is to have American Mustang Parts be in Sacramento. To have a local, independent, classic mustang parts dealer as a local small business is invaluable to the classic mustang community.
To also have Andy and the staff there be subject matter experts and be willing to answer what is likely the most stupid questions is a huge help.
Their ability to quickly order parts if they don't have them in stock, and not having in stock is a rarity, is phenomenal.
I truly appreciate having them local and available when i need a part and don't want to wait for one of the national suppliers to ship it to me.
I have bought parts and got numerous advice from Andy. Brian has worked on my car a few times and has always done great work at a great price. Nice down to earth business.
If you have a classic mustang in the northern CA area do yourself a favor and take it to American Mustang Parts in Rancho Cordova. Brian and The American Mustang Parts family are who you want working on your car and or getting advice from. I recently had my 65 Mustang in for Electric Power steering, some new wiring, new radiator/cooling, 1 wire Alternator and a bunch of other little things to bring my car back to life. I am very happy with Brian’s work, his knowledge, attention to detail, and communication throughout the time he worked on my car. I will definitely be bringing my cars back for more upgrades. American Mustang Parts is definitely my go-to business for anything I need regarding my 1968 Mustang. The people who work there obviously love Mustangs, and are wonderful to their clientele.
Andy is super helpful and funny! Lol Always helpful. No hassle delivery and ordering for my out of town or local customers who need to order over the phone and ship to my shop.
Jack pot. A bit pricy on SOME items only but worth it thou because these are hard to find parts.
The guy knows a thing or two i got all the help i wanted and had a friendly face with it.
I've been coming here for 20+ years. Great prices for parts and the Jarwin family is always friendly and knowledgeable. They also have onsite repair, restoration and appraisal services. Join one of the local mustang clubs and you can get a discount on parts too. A+++
This family owned and operated business is the best. Andy, wife and son are honest and will provide you with excellent advice even if you don't buy something. Try to get your classic scheduled for a repair and you'll find out how much in demand American Mustang is as you'll have to wait a month or two to get their excellent repair service ... but it is worth it and they are fair with their repair prices.
