I found Beltz online as the Briggs and Stratton main website instructed me to go to a certified B&S dealer to obtain information on a B&S replacement engine. I found it odd that B&S couldn’t answer my question directly but I found the staff at Beltz to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Especially Chelsey who was very detailed, determined and patient as she worked with a B&S technician over the phone. Chelsey explained things in detail and was very courteous and responsive with good follow up and communication. I walked away with a strong sense that the folks at the service desk really care about helping people and that they really value their customers. I highly recommend Beltz for your lawn equipment needs.

I just moved and was mowerless with lawn quickly growing out of control. I was in the market for a Wright Velke and came to Beltz since they were listed as a dealer on the Wright website. I was helped by Pearson and even though they didn’t have what I was looking for in stock he was able to source one and have it delivered and assembled in a timely manner before the lawn could get over grown. The process was easy, Pearson was easy to work with and knowledgeable. I highly recommend your next purchase be from Beltz!

Beltz picked up and delivered both of my mowers…Cub Cadet rider and Honda push mower on early Spring, promising a short timeframe, but didn’t stick to that. When they delivered both mowers were still filthy…didn’t even brother pretending to spray them off or clean them. The only proof they did ANYTHING was that met sent back replaced blades from push mower. My Cub Cadet rider has not run well since. I don’t believe they even worked on it, yet my total bill was just shy of $600. I even called them the first day inquiring why the same warning light in my rider was blinking and they said to check the oil. What?!?! The said there’s no way to reset that which is untrue. I will NEVER trust them again!

Not the best experience with their maintenance shop. They charges me over $200 to replace a $12 part. Had my zero turn picked up due to it not running. I changed spark plugs and the fuel filter with no change. After they looked at it they said it would be $200 because I replaced the wrong fuel filter. I get it they did a job, but I really feel shafted when a simple phone call to tell me what was wrong before hand could have saved me a lot of money.

I will say after the 2nd time there was a problem with my new zero turn mower I should have made them take it back and find a different place to make my purchase. Now issues with my tire and my mother takes it to them to put a tube in it. Today tire is FLAT AGAIN. She calls and they say "we sealed it". No TUBE and no mower again. Another drive for my elderly mother, no mower to mow yard, and more stress for this female disable Veteran. I need to sell it and buy from someone who will service what they sell and do the job right the 1st time. This is NOT the place!!!

This was my first time here, and honestly, it was a rough experience. The parking situation is unclear—just rubble and grass—not very inviting for customers. The staff wasn’t rude, but their casual, mismatched attire felt unprofessional, though I suppose it’s a plus if they’re comfortable. The main issue: I came to get my lawnmower blade sharpened. I had tried a DIY sharpening wheel, but it didn’t work due to the blade’s curves, so I brought it to Beltz. They finished quickly, but the results were disappointing. Large sections of the edge were untouched, and when I tested the balance, it was completely off—falling to one side. This imbalance could seriously damage my mower and lawn. If they check blade balance at all, they definitely skipped mine. Luckily, I never assume people will care, so I checked myself. Unfortunately, this reinforced my belief that some things are better done on your own. I won’t be back.

My Honda snow blower was running rough and I called Beltz to see if they could fit me in for service. I spoke with Jason and he said they were 2 weeks out but that he would see if he could fit me in and he did. They picked up my snow blower, completed the work in two days and he followed up with a call saying they'd schedule delivery when they were in my area. Fortunately, a relative offered to run out with me and we picked it up today! I've purchased several mowers and a snow blower from them in the past and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Great group of employees!! Highly recommended!

This place does great work and has great customer service. They worked through some diagnostic issues to make sure my Exmark mower was running in Tip-Top shape heading into spring. Looking forward to cutting some grass!

My pushmower needed a new carburetor the parts man There at the dealership in Akron was phenomenal. I will go there again. I had found out some new information. From the parts. Department as well. They actually change the plugs in my mowers when they service them. Belts will get my business in the future

We contracted with Beltz Lawn & Garden to sell one of our mowers which was less then 1 year old. The written agreement was for 20% of the gross sale. They sold the mower to an individual who used a Yard Card for the transaction and Beltz decided to take the transaction fees out of our sale which equated to over $600 in additional fees which we found out about when we received our check from the transaction. This was quite a shock to learn after the sale. So we paid over $6000 for this mower and received $3400 less than one year later. Now either the Spartan Mower line does not hold its resale value or the Beltz sales staff is completely incompetent. None the less I do not recommend using this company for any consignment sales. This is our mistake in trusting Beltz. Hopefully you can benefit from our mis guided trust.

Without them my business would have suffered but they knew how to help me out in the bind I was in. After trying multiple places and not getting the help I needed, I bought everything here. I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to everyone at Beltz Lawn and Garden on Canton Rd. Personally this is my first time making a major purchase there, but my grandfather, father, step father, and pretty much all my uncles, and entire extended family, has been doing business with these guys for many years. I just purchased my 1st zero turn mower from them two weeks ago. I purchased the Simplicity Courier SCS (Suspension Comfort System) with the 3 blade 48” deck, and the utility cart. First off I want to give a very personal thank you to Ray, and the deliver driver (sorry I forget his name) as well as Butch, for the A-1, top notch customer service I received from all of you. I already knew how great these guys were just from all the years of my family going there, but this was my 1st zero turn, and I really wanted to get it right. I did a ton of research before making my final choice to go with Simplicity, and I couldn’t be more happier that I did. I absolutely “NAILED IT!” And Ray really sealed the deal for me after speaking with him about all the other brands. Simplicity has an awesome reputation for making great equipment, and Beltz on Canton Rd. has an awesome reputation for selling that great equipment. If your in the market for a new mower, or any other garden equipment, especially a zero turn mower, don’t be fooled by the big box store’s inventory. There is a difference! It may cost you a few extra bucks more, but there’s a reason for that, and it’s well worth it. Your much better off going to a reputable dealer, and you’ll be way happier you did. Going to a reputable dealer like Beltz is the only way to go…TRUST ME! I can’t tell you how happy I am with my new Simplicity Courier. Talk about power, a smooth ride, and a good cut. Im seriously smitten.☺️ I have dreaded cutting my yard for a long time, but now I absolutely look forward to it, and I throughly enjoy it. I can’t say enough good things about these guys and the equipment they sell. Thank you all once again, and I look forward to seeing you at my first maintenance interval. Tickled pink!! -Robert White?

I've had Beltz's service two lawn tractors regularly over about 15 years. I used to think they were honest and fair priced. My most recent "yearly" visit was not good. They didn't address why the deck was low, recommended a part to be replaced which quickly broke again after it was returned, then charged me a pickup/delivery fee again when I described that the new part wasn't the issue. I wrote them trying to resolve the issue and lack of detail on their end but I got no response. Very disappointing as I've always trusted them for so many years.

I took my snowblower to Beltz for a going over. I was having trouble starting it and a few other minor issues. They did a terrific job. The service was top notch, price was fair and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time and they communicated with me via phone to get my authorization on any work that needed done. You won’t go wrong doing business with them.

Me and my cousin took his mower into Beltz for a surging problem. We were told by the counter man that if it was a fuel problem the warranty would not cover it but insisted they would contact us once they determined if that was the case. 3 days later they called my cousin to inform him the mower was ready. No mention of cost or what was fixed if anything. I called them about 10 minutes later inquiring about what if any the cost would be. I was told no charge. $0. We went to get the mower and when the man behind the counter went to close out the work order a charge of $75.00 popped up. Now the original agreement was they would contact my cousin once it was determined whether or not the warranty would cover the repairs. They never contacted him. Now they lowered the bill to $42 and there was a couple of folks behind us so I didn't feel it was the right time to start a beef there in the shop. My cousin paid the bill and we left. The mower runs good but how we got there is the problem I have. No one contacted him in regards to cost. No one contacted him until it was done. My cousin does not have a lot of money to throw around so proceeding with draining the gas and excess oil and charging $75 with no go ahead from the customer is no way to run a business. There should have been no charge due to no contact and the fact they told me there was no charge when I called in. This was my first experience using Beltz for service. Safe to say it will be my last and I will never steer another family member to them for anything. First impressions are an important thing no matter how long you have been in business. Yeah it was only $42 but trust in a business is worth a lot more and they lost mine and my cousins going forward.

first time trying them out. needed new tires for my rototiller. older lady quoted $38 a tire will be done next day. she seemed confused as to me needing new tires or my old ones put back on . so i drop it off then next day called to pick it up. she answers and said it will be done next week, i said you told me next day. she said she will call me back. I get a call from someone else that quoted a different hire price and it would be done next week. The older lady shouldnt be answering the phones.

Researched and saved for years. Bought a 2020 Regent 42. Roller bent at 4hrs. The owner was going to charge me until I complained and they checked with Simplicity. Simplicity replaced the parts and provided shorter cables, so they were aware of a problem. After 2 weeks I got the mower back and the roller bent AGAIN at 7 hrs. The owner told me " you have owned it a month" but I will take it back and only charge you a 20% restocking fee. I paid $500 for the privilage of using thier mower 5 times (the alternative was to replace the rollers every other use). Horrible customer service. Horrible product. If you buy one, you might get stuck.

We are so blessed that we found this business. The people are the best and they do great work. We had a problem with our snowblower and they fixed it right up for us. We would recommend them to anyone. My husband and I plan to use them in the future if we need any of our equipment fixed.

I had a great experience here. Prices we reasonable and salesman was friendly and not pushy he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. I bought a great zero turn from them and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. They took me outside and had me practice on it and showed me all of the controls. Excellent experience.
