Everyone knows my reviews are straightforward and to the point. I leave reviews to bolster a customer base on a business in order for that business to grow. I tell it like it is. While building a 23 tbucket in my shop in Benson, Speedway motors sent me a front rotor set up. Right rotor wrong bearings and race. I didn't have time to remove and install the right size race and bearing setup and sent this to Napa machine shop in Raliegh. Patty , in person and myself on the phone, was helped by Josh at the machine shop side. Excellent quick and friendly service. We are in Benson. So it's a little ride to Raliegh. Josh was amazing in setting up that rotor with the right bearings I supplied. It's nice to know I can trust a machine shop to do the job right the first time. Plus, it left me to continue what I was doing at my place in Benson with no worr. Thanks, Josh, for your professional manner a a job well done

I went to buy a battery and I had to return because I bought the same battery elsewhere and it was a terrible experience with Mr. William was very rude and when I tried to explain to another employee I clearly interrupt me no education and sense of respect in any store you go and return any item and if it is within the specific time for return you don't ask so many questions and your money is returned and you get your money back and you finish the problem clearly I will never return to this store I will avoid this kind of deal Mr. William doesn't know the customer service

Stopped by to pick up a battery for my car, all their batteries starting prices were $200. The employees were great but that price was a bit extreme. The average price for this particular battery varied from $100 to $140 in other stores.

I recently started purchasing parts for my VW Eurovan based Rialta motorhome from NAPA/ Walker Auto parts. They always seem to have (unlike other stores) what I need at a good price. I especially want to thank Eric, the E. Six Forks Rd store Manager here in Raleigh, for great service today. Highly recommend!

If I could give them -1 star I would, the driversbe driving reckless and be having road rage for their stupid decisions they make while driving

Had the parts I needed at a good price. This is the only place I have ever found flux for soldering, for only like $4!

I highly recommend their machine shop. Josh and Nick in particular have been super helpful with my BMW engine projects. they take the time to understand you needs and recommend the right services. they do quality work at a reasonable price and on-time. probably most importantly, they are good at communicating everything.

Seems like the new person that tried to help me with battery cables didn't know what to look for. I just left. (6 forks location) I drove to Wilson Napa and found what I needed.

I have been cooking to this store for quite to long and I guess, I'll keep coming back. All of them are friendly and knowledgeable, provide correct information and if there is an issue they proactively work on to resolve it.

Basil, running your Wake Forest store on Saturday the 31st was extremely polite,knowledgeable and very helpful and covered the store by himself and put a battery in my car. He left the door open so he could hear the phone ring. I had placed a order online for the Six Forks Napa Store for my battery needs and that attendant there told me I had to wait until Monday and I had to have it so I will not go to Walkers in Six Forks Rd. ever again. He was Lazy and not going the extra mile to help a customer but Basil got my battery in and watched and cared for other customers. Thanks Basil you are a asset for Napa and you deserve a raise. I want to be completely clear on my experience. You can read this and think this is some one off situation because a place is short staffed… Everywhere is short staffed. If you are actively sitting in front of your counter and can’t help someone with a dead battery sitting right in front of your store then you have no point being in business. I thought I found a great deal on a battery in the area, reviews for the store looked great, but when I got here I was basically told short staffed, oh well can’t help you. If you are looking at prices and think this is a place you should bring your business, I would not based on the experience I had today. To be told at an auto parts place that offers “services” that they cannot help me with a dead car battery sitting in front of their store, it is beyond me. Glad I pay for good road side assistance from AAA. Ridiculous.

I was on a return trip home from Florida to New York with my family, after a tire shop put new tires on but missed torquing my lug nuts on my left rear wheel.long story short wheel came off ruining my lug studs and many more parts I called desperately to every auto parts store I could to get parts and to no surprise they couldn’t help whilst they may of had some of the parts but I had no way to get them.Then I called walker auto and truck parts with Frankie Moore and Tim Davis who not only found what I needed they had it in stock and the amazing part they brought me the parts and stayed till I knew they were the right ones thanks guys you really are a blessing so the next hr I spent putting it back together and we were off on the highway.

I've been dealing with this team for years from inside sales to the machine shop. Woody at parts is great, Joey in the machine shop was awesome. Josh in the machine shop is awesome. It's nice to go back time and time again and see familiar faces still there, always feel like my parts are in good hands. Side note: Can anyone help me out with my phone calls not going through to your store number anymore?

Dealt with the parts shop here several times. Good work. Front desk? Dual Legend batteries 11/29/2018. Started failing end of 12/2020. Took in for a test Feb 2021. Said I needed new. Didn't offer $1 above core for 21 month old batteries I bought at this store. I'm not spending over $400 on batteries for no warranty. Walmart does better than this. If you want repeat customers, at least do us right by the warranty.

I just haven't had the best experience here. First I brought some engine parts to get cleaned. I'm assuming you have to specify what "clean" means to these guys because when I came to pick up my "cleaned" parts, they looked the same as before. Same oxidation in the same spots and gasket material still left on the flat surfaces. I decided to give them a second try, and dropped off a cylinder head to get "cleaned." This time I specified that I wanted the rust ALL OFF the cylinder head and I wanted the valve and valve springs taken off. They were able to take the valve springs off, but the cylinder head was still rusty. I was disappointed. Two stars for being able to do simple jobs like taking the valve springs off and the valves out. But no more than two stars because they can't get my parts nice and clean when I ask them to. If you want a good job done with the cylinder head looking decent, take your parts somewhere else.

I just wanted to take a second to thank Taz, who works in the machine shop for his great service. I brought my own aluminum block Volvo engine to have the head milled and the parts cleaned for a rebuild Im doing in my home garage. The work was very good, but Taz's help and advice were invaluable. He had detailed knowledge of engines and offered his knowledge freely. Refreshing !

These guys are the main supplier for the company I work for. If it does not have to come from a dealership, then this is who we count on. They try their hardest to stay on point day in and day out. For a Professional Technician like me time is money. So their efforts make it worthwhile. Give them a try.

Customer service has been fantastic every time I have called with questions, and every time I have been in the store. This is true of every person I have dealt with. Prices and selection are good, and if there is something that is not in-stock, they can usually get it the next day. Now, this is the only place I go for auto parts and accessories.

Had a VW TDI head rebuilt. Cost $275 with new seals and stems. Took about 2 weeks, head last for 4 months then started smoking severely. Compression test showed intake valve on # 3 cylinder no compression. removed head DROPPED VALVE GUIDE! Removed head, saw 4 seals were not installed or not installed properly, due to no seal left. Very Shotty work!!! So Im redoing the head myself since an experienced machine shop cant get it right. Never will buy parts or take any parts to NAPA for work ever again.

I live in Raleigh NC I went to the local. NAPA store with two commercial batteries I purchased at another NAPA store for $274.00 in VA 10 months ago that was under warranty. They tested the batteries and said there was no good. Ok I didn't have my receipt so I asked them to pull me up in the computer. they informed me that Napa system are not connected to one another other.So i called the store in VA and they agreed to fax the receipt. Well the guys at Walker said because the warranty sticker on the battery was not on the battery they wont warranty it Now who the hell knows what a warranty sticker is on a battery. Most people know the battery purchase date.Now the battery has a date showing its ten month old and they have a receipt. but they wont warranty it, they told the other napa the had to purchase the battery in order for them to do it. just my luck that I am going up to VA tomorrow the NAPA I purchased from is going to swipe the batteries out. That they was going to put a complain in the there DC because a customer should not have to go threw that if he has proof of purchase.
