Since Liberty took over our service from Don's Trash, it has been one frustration after another. We reached an agreement in December to rectify the previous issues and paid for the next year based on 2x/week + recycling service. One month into that year, they changed the terms of that agreement, reducing it to 1x/week and changing the day of recycling. Without notification. Calling to troubleshoot went nowhere. When I cancelled, they suddenly only billed in quarters. Next stop, Better Business Bureau.

This trash has been sitting in my driveway since Tuesday and because the drivers don’t read their tablets I got missed. I am in Lexington plantation(HOA $1000)a year no Gate, 1 pool for over hundreds of families and it is run by Little and Young the worst management company in NC who is don’t help families that’s another story… plus I get a ticket because I am the only one on my street that the wall recycling company has missed. I was promised by a supervisor (female) and nothing has been done and today is Saturday I am the only house they forgot and the only house with trash outside her house in the culdesac. This isn’t the first time this is the third time i have been missed. I went away for a few days believing that the trash has been taken care of that I am in good hands and now I will get tickets because I am disable veteran of 23 years in the USAF and I was bamboozle, led astray thinking that the supervisor (female colease or cholease) i didn’t write the name down because i believed her that they will pick up my trash on that day which was a lie. Now it will be a week that my trash has sat outside my house because the driver didn’t read his tablet and the supervisor didn’t follow through.

We have Liberty garbage pickup at our house in Spring Lake, NC scheduled each Friday. However, we've gone without garbage pickup for 2 weeks, so we called and are told that we have to wait an additional day due to weather on Monday? My question was why they didn't pickup the Friday and we weren't offered a refund for the missed service. This is the 3rd time we have gone 2 weeks without our trash picked up ever since Dons Trash Service was bought by Liberty and we arent sure when or if our garbage will be picked anytime there is a disruption in normal service. I would recommend a more reliable sanitation carrier if available!

My trash company was bought out by Liberty last year. I have been with Don’s Trash for over 25 years. Since taking over, they have decided to change from 2 days a week to 1 day a week starting February. However, my price stays the same. I paid three months in advance and was not warned of the change before I paid. Additionally, I found out that those who were only paying 1 day a week will keep their lower price. I called the office to make sure this was correct. This is crazy and completely unscrupulous.

I had the sweetest interaction this morning with a Liberty waste management employee! He was done getting my neighbors trash and was ready to drive away, but noticed me running down the driveway with my trash can. He stopped, jumped out, said GOOD MORNING with a huge smile, and took my trash can to empty. He went out of his way to do that for me when he easily could have driven away without helping! We are SO HAPPY that we changed to Liberty! Kudos to Liberty for having very kind and considerate employees! ❤️

First video (7seconds) was after regular cleaning service was completed. A call to complain about the poor service ended with a call from supervisor Roland Washington. After waiting for 8 days with the dirty toilet, finally a new service got done. This time look at the 15 seconds video… The cleaning service is deplorable.

Terrible. I would not recommend Liberty Waste Solutions at all. They do quarterly invoices and they don't refund or prorate at all. We moved and had to cancel our waste pickup on 8/13 and they said that because the billing cycle started on 8/1, we still had to get charged for the entire quarter and did not provide any proration or refund. The rep I was talking to said that it was like a Netflix subscription but the difference is that Netflex still gives you access to their subscription for the entire month (and they charge monthly), these guys already picked up the trash cans on the 13th so the new tenant can't even use their services which has already been paid for.... Absolutely terrible.

I’ve been coming here for 7 years with a cart full of scrap, and there was always a magnet tractor to help unload the metal. I'm a veteran and can't do it by myself. This is the third time I’ve come and been given excuses. The first time, the driver was on lunch break. The second time, the magnet was broken. Now I’m told it’s on the other side of the yard. Very disappointing — after all these years, this might be my last visit.

Just started using this company at work, sucks! Miss pick-ups. Leaves trash on the ground after pick up. Breaks wheels off our dumpster. Delivered us dumpsters with broken wheels just overall not great. Good thing it’s not up to me or we would not be using this company.

This place was great until they started charging a 1 ton minimum fee regardless of size of the load. Really screws over contractors trying to offload waste from smaller demolition jobs. We can’t use local convenience centers, now we get charged a $50 minimum to get rid of small loads of trash. Make it make sense. Just another way the little guys get screwed over.

They don’t believe in contracts or contracted pricing. If you’re paying $200 now, expect to pay $300 within 6 months. $400 within a year and by the time you pay attention, your money is literally in the trash with them. They don’t care to keep your business, will never care and have never cared since they got bought out by some ‘larger’ company. We’ve been in business with them for 4 years and have 3 locations with dumpsters. They could have gained our business for life but Carole & Monica decided we weren’t good enough for them.

Monica was and has been very helpful with answering questions and making things quick and easy both times we needed a dumpster. Good pricing and flexibility with what can be disposed of, dropoff and pickup. Highly recommend!

It’s the customer service and the highly competitive pricing that earns the 5 star review. Their amazing sales representative, Monica, texted me personally and asked about my satisfaction and responded to a text weeks later for my request to cancel a pick up after heavy rain and muddy conditions! Easy and efficient text responses had the pick up scheduled for the next morning canceled!! And the price I pay for two containers is less than the cost of one container with their mega-size competitor. Recommended highly!

Truckers Pull up on scale to get weighed. This place loads to the max most of the time Pull around the building and get loaded at the rear of the facility. Back on scale after loading complete and check your tires if they are still inflated. It’s a scrap yard. Good luck.

Little hectic metal and nails everywhere but ehh just be careful and watch where you drive and youll be ok. The prices are competitive but tt&e down the road has better pricing and clean facility

Between December 2020 and May 2021 we moved my parents-in-law from their home and business of 40+ years. Wall Recyling was absolutely superb. We filled 10 general debris dumpsters, 4 scrap steel dumpsters, and sold 3 cars for scrap with Wall. We worked with Natalie (coordinator), Tyrone and Levon (two of the many drivers), and Greg (steel coordinator). Wall's employees went above and beyond in big and little ways. All were professional, pleasant, and helpful. Natalie was extraordinarily helpful and timely in arranging multiple dumpsters on short notice by email, text and phone call. She was also able to correct our mistake of initially providing the wrong address and confusing a few drivers. Greg arranged to have Wall Recyling fill and remove 3 dumpsters of scrap steel in one day and Greg personally handled it with one co-worker. Greg also suggested competent and reliable contractors who could handle items Wall could not. His recommendations were superb. Tryone and Levon brought multiple dumpsters and were pleasant even at 6 am and during the incessant rain and mud of the spring of 2021. And, while waiting in line at Wall Recycling in Durham with a scrap vehicle, a Wall driver, noticing that we appeared lost while he was waiting to unload steel from his truck, took the time to walk across Wall's vast parking lot and direct us. It was clearly not his job, but he was observant and took initiative to help us. I wish I recalled his name. Wall Recycling is the Walt Disney of customer service in the construction and scrap industry and made a difficult move far easier than we could have imagined. I only wish that we would have thought to ask Wall for a referral of reliable sub-contractors who handle day to day cleaning and debris removal before filling several dumpsters on our own.

I really like the people who work there. They are friendly, patient, and helpful. I took a load of metal from my house. I had no idea how their process worked. A couple of their people patiently explained the process. You get paid higher rates for some items that must be placed on a scale and weighed at the front of their facility. Copper, aluminum and motors are typical items that need sorting and weighed on scales upfront. Then sheet metal and other general metal, you take to the back of their facility for unloading. Your vehicle is weighed going in and out of their yard at the back of the facility. It pays though to be careful to identify which items go to the front for weighing and which must be unloaded at the rear of the facility. So, do talk to their folks in advance. For example, you’re now paid about $3+ a pound for copper weighed and accepted at the front of the facility. But all the stuff unloaded in the rear of their facility gets compensated at about 6 cents a pound. Big difference. So, sort it carefully for maximum reimbursement. Bottom line … the people there are great. They deserve our business for being so nice, and helpful.

Very pleased with Wall Recycling. My business has been recycling aluminum here for many years, back when they were Raleigh Metal. They have always had great prices on metal recycling, and usually a helpful staff onsite to help unload. Though, since the companies merged, it has been even better. I always get good help unloading now from the friendly staff, making it faster and more convenient to recycle here. Today, three gentlemen helped me unload my truck; one who I believe is an owner, and he was very kind, helpful, professional, and he even assured me that help will always be given in the future to help unload my truck (which used to not be the case). My business and I will gladly continue to recycle our metal here in the future!

Incredibly nice people, very quick and easy haul away. Our family had three junk cars in our yard. I called two days ago to get an estimate and for removal of the three and within those two days everything was taken care of. No hassle, no run around. Wonderful service and quick! Will definitely recommend.

Love Raleigh metals! My hubby is an hvac service man and we get lots of coils and copper. Headed up there again tomorrow. Such nice people and always fair pricing! I drive about 45 minutes from Henderson because I know I'll be paid good, treated well and not have any issues! 😁

Great customer service. Got there to buy a used car battery. Easy paperwork and lady at the counter very nice. In the end, I didn't have a battery problem on my car but a starter problem. So, I went back there to get a refund. I got my refund right away and meet with Gregg (great guy), who gave me some tips about what the issues with my car might be. Very nice guy and willing to help you. It was my first experience there and would recommend it to anyone. Great job guys and thanks to Gregg.

I'm not really one to write reviews online but I was extremely impressed with this company...first I called and was told I would get a phone call from Dave, the tow truck driver, in no longer then 15 min. I received a call in less then 5. Dave was absolutely honest and upfront with me from the beginning on what he could pay. I called around for other quotes and not only were these other companies rude but they quoted me far less...I called Dave back and he was able to schedule a pick up around my work schedule. When he showed up the whole process took less then 5 min. He was fast and friendly. So thank you Raleigh metals for caring so much about customer service because frankly now a days not enough people do.

I contacted this business because of the glowing reviews. I, unfortunately, did not have the same experience. After browsing their website, I located the direct contact line for car removal/towing. I called the number 3 times only to have it seem like it was answered, but no one was there. I then called the main line and was spoken to brusquely and told, after giving my number, that the tow truck driver would call me directly in no more than 15 minutes. That was 2 days ago.

I started an account with them about three months ago. They were to bring a lugger and swap it out when full about every third week on request. After 3 pick ups, I got one call saying that they didnt feel it was worth their time because the weight was not enough. So I got to making the metal more compact hoping that would help. But without further notice, they refused to bring a new container and left me high and dry. The owner was not nice to me when I called to find out why they didn't weigh the new container before dropping me. Told me their person would call me back. I am still waiting for that call. Poor customer service. I had been taking the copper to them on my own so it wouldn't get short changed but now I guess I will take that somewhere else as well. UPDATE - I got a call from the owner and my account rep later that day. It appears there was a miscommunication on their part and they have resolved the issue and brought a new container today. Everything is back to normal. Thank you Greg & Lisa.

Went for the first time and it was a great experience! I looked later and they had detailed instructions on their website but I didn't know what to expect when I got there. But it was easy to figure out and the 2 guys there that I talked to were super nice and friendly. It looked like they were really enjoying their jobs. They were very quick and it took no time at all. I was impressed that you just take the receipt to their ATM to get your money and they even offer free coffee! The huge variety of things that they take inspires you to take all your metal things there. Oh, and we got a really good price for our old RV batteries.
