They do not care about the safety. Of the people in the community they serve. Metal objects flying off the back of these recycle trucks. Could kill or hurt someone. They could careless and won't take responsibility. For damages done to your car. Yet they say they're a Christian company.
I got to this place on Saturday at 11:30, moved up to where there were 3 cars ahead of me when this Latino woman in a pink hard hat came up to my car and said we’re closed.. I drove all the way from four oaks and told her this and asked please can you take me she told me “no sorry go home”… they need to update there business hours I’ll never go back
This is a great place for recycling all of your scrap metal and non-ferrous materials. The staff at the scales are polite, fast, and knowledgeable. Additionally, they pay top dollar, often better than the competition.
They downgrade metals to pay you less. I had one of their top guys picking through my copper that I had in a large can to get anything with brass bearing. This was #2 grade and he was only going to buy half of it for copper. Right down the street they agreed it was worthy of #2. Today I bring stainless and #1 & #2 prepared steel and they call it all shred. Time for me to quit using this facility after 20 plus years and many owners

I took about 12 boxes of different types of non-ferrous metal this morning to recycle. I spend a lot of time sorting my material beforehand and have a pretty good idea of what my return will be. I expected to get about $350.00 given today's market value and the weight of my material. Usually, when the transaction is complete, they quickly print out my receipt and send me on my way. This time, however, when waiting for my receipt, the girl who was helping me spent about 5 minutes on her computer, going back and making changes to several line items while laughing with her friend, and this started making me very nervous. When I got to the office, I noticed that the total was only $150, and some of my most valuable materials had been changed to "aluminum breakage", one of the cheapest types of metal (14 cents/lb.). This included a bin of die cast aluminum, a box of zinc, cabinet knobs, expensive kwikset door knobs, and brass bathroom fixtures. I only had 1 box of sheet aluminum, and she changed the next line to sheet aluminum as well, when this held many expensive bathroom fixtures. I'm going to go back to the office tomorrow to see if Foss will make this right and compensate me appropriately, and I'm willing to revise my review. But if they stand firm with these new unethical practices, I am filing a small claim and contacting the Better Business Bureau. And the camera footage of my lane had better not be deleted, as I will be requesting this footage in my discovery motion.
