Excellent service, Friendly, and prompt. Needed a new battery for my vehicle, previous was an Interstate MTX (H7 Size), and wanted something more capable to power the accessories. Quick research, price comparison, and purchasing options lead me to Batteries Plus. XS Series Pure Lead AGM matched all the spec's of higher priced, similar options. Purchased online for the $30 discount, schedule my pick up, and had it installed quickly. Jeremy was very friendly and helpful. Battery quality was immediately noticeable when the stereo turned on.

Batteries Plus Store # 849 in Norfolk, Virginia uses deceptive pricing to ripoff customers of their $5 core charge. Per discussion with the sales person and the manager AND a follow-up phone conversation with the manager, the price displayed on the shelves "reflects the prices AFTER the core charge discount." This is NOT how core charges are handled in other stores. As such, it is a blatantly deceptive practice. For example, if you purchase a car alternator from a local car store, the price reflects the price of the item... PERIOD. If you return a 'core' unit either at the time of purchase or subsequent to that purchase, the refund due is provided AND the new receipt reflects the core charge rebate. My receipt from my purchase today DOES NOT REFLECT THE TWO $5 CORE CHARGES I was supposedly given. The manager tried to pass off the practice of a core charge being a Virginia state requirement (and thus the customer should assume this is 'normal') but he admitted that nothing reflecting such is posted in the store, on the receipt, or was verbally provided during the purchase transaction. If this truly was a Virginia requirement I am sure there is REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION within the regulations that the store management should follow. I will NEVER darken the threshold of a Batteries Plus store again. AND I will do everything I can to inform my friends, neighbors, and co-workers about Batteries Plus' deceptive practice. Additionally, I will share this experience via every social media outlet I have access to.

Good range of batteries and bulbs. I was looking for AAAA Duracell and couldn't find it anywhere except here. A bit pricey as compared to online but it's okay . The lady at the sale counter was very informative

I have had watch batteries replaced. Key fob batteries replaced & repaired. Bought a new key fob from them. Had phone batteries replaced. Always great service & outstanding work every single time. Highly recommend. I wouldn't go anywhere else for these types of needs.

Great service and price. I had two key fobs cut and made here. Much less expensive than going to a dealer or key lock service. Over the course of a couple visits (don't forget to bring your vin specific skim code with you - you can get that from your dealer's parts dept) everyone at this site was extremely helpful. Makayla (I hope I spelled that correctly) made this a 5 star visit through her professionalism and expertise. Thank you!

Our boat batteries died, while heading south. These guys came through in spades. Able to deliver two 4D batteries to us, at a marina we requested, same day. Even sent us photos of batteries, to ensure compatibility before purchase. Would highly recommend.

Really great customer service. Dropped my phone off for screen repair, was done promptly within a couple of hours. Everything looked great, and then an issue with the camera popped up that I hadn't noticed before leaving the store. Brought it back in, was kept in the loop with regular updates while one of the associates troubleshot it. The manager fixed it right up when she returned to the store a couple days later. No extra charge for the extra work they put in to fix my phone. Sometimes, things don't always go exactly perfect the first time, but the mark of good store and good employees is how they make it right. Really excellent service and experience. Very impressed.

Sam was my associate and my experience was so polite, professional, and fast but ACCURATE. I needed a key programmed and Sam took very good care of me. I see why she’s the store manager. I’ll definitely be back for all my battery/charger needs. AND THEY FIX PHONES!!

Very friendly and helpful. My electric lawn mower company had discontinued my model and new batteries were no longer available. Batteries+ Bulbs rebuilt the battery. Runs better than previous two seasons. Thank you for saving us the cost of a new lawn mower!

Michaela was excellent! We came in because I had something stuck in the port of my phone charger and she was able to fix it before we walked out of the parking lot. She was also able to fix my car fob within minutes as well. She was incredibly helpful and sweet. Highly recommend!

I recently needed 2 keys to replace the ones that were lost. Its been over a week and the manager said it would be another week to get the keys ordered. I paid upfront but I'll get refunded and I will no longer patronize this business.

I took my phone in on Friday to have a cracked screen fixed. When I picked it, it looked great but was not functioning properly. My phone acts like I am touching certain areas of the screen when I am not. It will close apps, open apps, end calls, scroll through things. However, when I try to do anything on the phone, it will not respond to my touch. There is also a black portion at the bottom of the screen. My screen was cracked when I brought it to Batteries Plus Bulbs but it was not acting like that and it did not have the black portion prior to bringing it in. I took it to Apple to be looked at. They confirmed this is a common issue that happens when a phone is fixed through a third party. Unfortunately, I just paid $150 for my phone to be broken further so I can't afford for Apple to fix the issue and will just be dealing with a broken phone for a while.

Staff is always helpful and efficient. They always have what I need in stock. The new curbside service is awesome order your items, drive to store, call when in parking lot and then they bring out the purchased item(s) in less then 5 minutes. It truly Was 2 minutes. ?

Made an appointment yesterday to have a car battery installed this morning at 830. Paid, received confirmation, etc. I get a call at 805 this morning from an employee stating that they're unable to do installations on my vehicle and were canceling my order. He said the refund would take " a couple business days." My problem is A) why did I enter my specific car info to order the install if they can't do them? and B) why did it take until 20min prior to the appointment to get notification that it wouldn't happen? This is the second occasion I've had an appointment/online purchase at this location end up canceled last minute due to them not being able to provide the service advertised and paid for.

They have it. Seriously. Whatever it is from crazy types and sizes of batteries to iSound multi-port jump chargers. They also have deals for businesses. In hurricane season this is the place to get the unusual solutions to keep your tech running.

I purchased a replacement key and key fob for my vehicle at half the price I would have paid at a dealer. The dealer quoted $140 just to program the key and fob and that was outside of the $175 for the key & key fob. Needless to say I never went to the dealer after that quote over the phone. With Batteries Plus you get 10% off by ordering online and picking it up in the store. Once I got there to pick up my order I decided to purchase AAA batteries and decided 10% off of those as well. The people were friendly and knowledgeable. I'll be returning.

Had an incredibly frustrating experience at the Ghent location last night. I had called in advance to be sure my stolen key fob to my car could be disabled and that the two key fobs I did have could be reprogrammed to work. Nick assured me this service was available for my particular vehicle. I arrived at the Ghent location and was told by the employee that was working that he didn't know how to do that. I assured him that Nick had said it was possible. After an unprofessional back and forth between the employee and myself, I ended up calling the Chesapeake location from INSIDE the Ghent location to ask the gentlemen working at the Chesapeake location if this service was available at all locations. He assured me it was. I asked if he could call the Ghent location to explain to Jay how to do it since Jay repeatedly told me he didn't know how to do it. Suddenly Jay was on his own phone with someone else asking to be walked through how to do it. He took the laptop and other tools out to my van and had it done within a few minutes, which confused me because he kept saying it couldn't be done. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because he reprogrammed two keys for the price of one, which sounds fair for the amount of frustration and confusion surrounding the whole experience. After he was done I said, "See, you learned something new! Now you know how to do it", to which he replied, "No, I already knew how to do it." What? Needless to say I won't be going to that location again, even though I live in Norfolk. All employees should be trained to perform all services offered or at least be resourceful enough to call someone before the customer has to.

Just got my S8+ screen fixed in a little over an hour or so. Cat is a wonderful employee. Extremely professional as well as friendly. I will certainly be recommending Batteries Plus to anyone who needs repairs done to their phone.

Went for a back up battery got quoted an unreasonably high price. However needed ASAP so the back up would continue to work. Manager or owner heard I run a business and immediately quizzed me on if I needed more items for the business. Declined and said I would reorder my battery needs via amazon as they were definitely less expensive, they then reduced my original quote by 60%!!!! Then got multiple calls asking for more business. Sorry if you cannot quote me the actual best price first you will be the last place I search for what I need.

I brought my phone in because I wanted to know if I needed a new battery or a new phone. Turned out that I didn't need either. My screen lighting was all the way down. I thought that my phone had died, lol. Anyway the Attendant gave the phone back and said, "have a nice day". He didn't try to pull a fast one or anything. What great service! This wasn't my 1st time coming to this establishment and it won't be my last.

I got a GREAT price on the battery for my 1983 240 D! I ordered it on Thursday night. On Friday I received an email saying it was ready for pick up! The battery is a perfect replica of the battery I bought from the dealership. I was totally surprised! Picked up Friday night and installed it. My girl started right up! I recommend anyone that needs a vintage battery to use Batteries Plus!

I had dropped my phone and shattered my screen back in March. Brought it to them so they could fix it, paid over $100 or so and they said it was good. After a couple months my screen turned black and would no longer work. Brought it to a different repair company who fixed the screen for $90 and said whoever previously fixed it didn't do the job right.

Bought a car battery on line for store pickup. Tony (the manager?) was extremely helpful over the phone, verifying that they had the battery, and had some tools to help me change out the battery. Tony was incredibly helpful in helping me get the old battery removed and the new battery installed, as I did not have any of the tools with me. I give the highest possible rating to Batteries Plus on 21st St., and recommend them very highly!
