I've used them since I moved to Virginia 9 years ago, they are always helpful and professional. Their prices have always been better than most auto parts stores for twice the quality of battery. They also have refurbished or used batteries if you're on a budget. Great place, can't imagine going anywhere else for a car or truck battery.

Why do these Interstate car batteries discharge so quickly? Battery was completely dead after a week in the car. Interstate refused to uphold the warranty because it worked on the "Test Bench". The multimeter doesn't lie, but maybe this business does.

My wife stopped in today for a new car battery and had a great experience. David was super helpful and made the whole process easy. We love supporting small, family owned businesses, and this place is a perfect example of why. Thank you so much. We’ll be back.

Get reconditioned batteries at less than half price of new. They work just as good and come with warranty. Customer service here is stellar

Great experience. My husband was given battery options best for my vehicle. I enjoyed being able to drive around to the back of the business to have my battery professionally installed. The man was SUPER nice & provided my husband and I with great battery operation information.

An 8-month-old Interstate battery was dead after sitting 2 weeks in my vehicle, while a Wal-Mart EverStart battery sat for 1 month in the same vehicle and started right up (confirmed vehicle has a normal 25mA static draw). Interstate would NOT warranty my battery because they don't understand the problem and only test the battery load at full charge and do not test static discharge rate. Disappointed because of the inferior Interstate battery, but also the lack of customer service. I'm done with Interstate rapid discharge batteries.

I bought a new Marine Battery plus some AA and AAA batteries. They took the old battery out of my trunk and carried the new one out to the car. Never had to lift a finger....good thing since i have a tender back. I love the Interstate batteries and the service here was friendly and very helpful.

No Doubt, they are the best, professional and efficient. Great fast service. I will not go anywhere else. Highly Recommend ! !.

*edited to include response to owner at the end *My business has been a consignment account holder for 13 years. Was informed by a substitute driver (my regular route driver was on vacation) that the stock was being pulled the next day. Didn't even wait for my regular route driver to have a conversation with me. Been having trouble getting batteries warrantied for years but continued business with them, because of the name brand battery. My business will not ever recommend any Interstate branded battery for a customer going forward, and I will actively be recommending replacement of any that I find. Customer service is abysmal, and practically non-existent. It may not have been alot of money like a national chain location (ie Tractor Supply), but it was consistent business. If this is the way that this franchise operates, I guess it's better that I won't have to deal with them anymore. ***response: Don't you think that you should have reached out to a 13 year consignment account holder before you had a substitute driver pull stock? What good does me "calling a manager" do. I don't need your customer service now.

DO NOT LET THEM CHANGE YOUR BATTERY ! Please be aware and mindful, do not make the same mistake i did. They replaced my battery for my 2019 Honda accord and damaged a sensor. Dealership said i was the 2nd car to come back with a damaged sensor within a months span !

Very professional, effective and efficient with the time it took to install my new battery. The tech also explained some of the features concerning the battery, it’s function, and a few insights to further help me in the future. I was very satisfied. I will definitely utilize them for all future battery needs.

I remember years ago this place used to sell good blems. Now they're 2+ years old lasting a month and $25 more. I returned it and told the counter lady it wouldn't hold a charge. The first thing she does is put a hobby store meter on it which is NOT a battery tester & says next time make sure it's fully charged before i bring a battery back. She says I'll exchange it this time & had the guy in the back write 2nd battery on the top. The days of a good bargain here are in the past. Just add $30 more dollars and buy a 30 month battery from the Club.

Customer service was not bad they were kinda busy but I went for a 2014 Nissan Maxima battery the guy quoted me the price for a new battery no issue but what did have me leave and just drive up to Nissan was they didn’t install the battery for liability reasons I get it .. well that’s what I was told.. but if you have someone who can take your old one out for you at home and replace it with the new one then yeah this would be a great place to buy from but I’m no car service girl so I needed the full package…

I went in and needed a new battery for my car. They were able to replace it on the spot, and did the install for me. It was very quick, and the staff were really nice.

Called yesterday and got excellent help over the phone from David, who also provided excellent service in store. They were able to quickly replace my battery for a great price. The tech that did the replacement and everyone back in the shop were awesome, as well. Will recommend them to everyone and will definitely come back for future needs! Awesome, helpful, friendly staff. I can’t say enough nice things!

Excellent customer service! I had an electrical issue with my car fixed at a dealership. The service advisor said my 1 year old Interstate battery was bad. I brought it here to the Interstate store. They properly charged the battery overnight and tested it for free…and it was perfectly fine.

This is by far one of the best customer service I’ve experience when dealing with service issue. We are from out of town and our Camper batteries went dead. Instead of just selling us two expensive brand new batteries they give us option to try charging them first for $8 dollars. I could not be any happier. Alexis the store Manager is awesome! Very friendly and honest. I will be coming back to this store on my next trip here in Virginia Beach just to say hi and buy some stuff they are selling. Hope some of you needing service that this shop offers find this helpful.

The guys here were so helpful and very kind. We had been getting the run around from several places about how to fix the car but these guys were honest & fair with us. They made sure we got the right part for our problem and got our car fixed up real quick. We are so glad to finally have it back on the road! 10/10 would recommend.

The office is small and only had two people working including the tech. He will test your battery and install it if you purchase one. Both provided outstanding service. But the phone is constantly ringing and people were in line. Luckily, there people in line were given priority. (You don't see that to often!) There 2 people that were working deserve kudos! If you go, ask for a blemished battery, you'll thank me later!

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! On the phone and in person, Alexis was outstanding! Very courteous, helpful and HONEST. The lady there working had amazing customer service as well but I didn’t work with her.

Thank you frank for getting me fixed up this Christmas Eve. Called this morning first thing. Asked if they could get me new batts installed and possibly installed. They said sure we got you come on in. I arrived and they got me new batteries out waiting for my vehicle type, pulled me around back and got me done in no time. Thank you frank!! I have purchased batteries from here several times and each time I have been impressed with their level of customer service. Great staff, great selection and great prices. UPDATE on 11/20/17: Still amazing staff and selection. These folks really know their product.
