0 Stars. Getting towed sucks. Getting talked down to by a moody middle aged woman makes the entire experience worse. When towing college students, understand that finances can take a conversation to truly understand. Expect poor unhelpful responses with a dead & dry tone when asking questions or requesting information be cleared up. Horrible.

Let’s be real here, nobody likes having their car towed. But listen to me when I say these guys are crooks. They charge you an overnight lot fee even if it was only there for 30 minutes, and won’t even bother releasing your car to you if it’s anywhere near 4:00. After trying to explain my case, they still decided to charge an exorbitant amount of money. I paid $455 in mostly cash, and put the rest on my card. Come to find out later they charged me for the FULL amount on my card and tried to pocket the cash. Never do business with these guys, they’re highly unprofessional and are only in it for the money.

Terrible service, they charge you for everything, even the air you breathe, and they're rude.

If you are ever towed by this company, document every interaction immediately. Get names, times, fee breakdowns and written confirmation of where your vehicle is being taken. Do not assume important details will be volunteered. My experience: After an accident earlier this year, local law enforcement dispatched this company to tow my vehicle. While I was still speaking with the responding officer trying to understand next steps, the tow truck driver repeatedly interrupted to demand my keys. When I asked where the vehicle would be taken and whether it could go directly to my mechanic, he said, “No, it’s going straight to our shop,” then walked away. No card. No paperwork. No company name. No phone number. No explanation of rates or storage policies. That was the full extent of our interaction. By the time I finished speaking with the officer, the truck and my vehicle were gone. It took about a week of calling around before I was able to determine where my vehicle had been taken. When I finally reached the company, I was told I owed nearly $1,500. Almost all of it was labeled as storage fees because I had “not picked up the vehicle.” This was the first time I had even been able to determine its location. At the scene I explicitly asked about removing my belongings and was told to leave as much as I could in the vehicle. That included work-related equipment. During the back and forth that followed, I had to replace necessary items while daily storage charges continued to increase. By the end, the amount demanded exceeded $2,500 before I would even be allowed access to the vehicle. In my case, fees accumulated for days before I even had enough information to retrieve the vehicle. That is a problem for any customer dealing with an accident. The vehicle was totaled. Before the accident it was worth roughly $4,500–$6,000. If you want it even more scathing without getting “ranty” Add one short line right after the $2,500 sentence: “This felt less like service and more like a fee trap.” That’s emotional, but still measured and believable. If you want, I can also trim this to fit Google’s “people skim” style while keeping the punch.

⭐️ 0 Stars (if possible) This company was hired to assist with moving vehicles so we could safely and efficiently remove snow from our parking lot. Unfortunately, the behavior I witnessed from their driver was completely unacceptable. The driver was extremely rude and aggressive, yelling at residents who were simply trying to get their cars unstuck and out of the way. His use of the tow truck was reckless and intimidating. At one point, a vehicle pulled in and realized it needed to back up. Instead of allowing a few feet of space for the car to safely move, the tow truck driver stayed roughly 6 inches from their front bumper and followed them in reverse, creating a dangerous and unnecessary situation. This was the worst representation of a company I have ever seen. His anger, lack of professionalism, and aggressive actions were completely uncalled for and do not reflect the standards we expect when working around residents and their property. Behavior like this puts people and vehicles at risk. I sincerely hope this company addresses this immediately, because conduct like this is unacceptable. I do not recommend using this service based on the actions ive seen today!

Unpleasant. Rude. Mean spirted people. Everything wrong with this country today. It’s people like those employed at West End Towing that make the world a worse place to live in. They yell at girls here and make them cry. No seriously. My car wouldn’t start after this place of “business” picked it up. Already faced with a hefty and exorbitant fee to come collect it, I was in no mood to be belittled any further. When I requested that my girlfriend, who so kindly took the time out of her day to bring me there, do me one additional favor and help me to jump it, the “gentleman” employed there yelled at her profusely and unnecessarily to not go back to the impound lot, calling her “stupid” and degrading her character. This really happened. Institutional misogyny runs rampant at West End Towing. I believe there is a kinder way of handling things, almost always. When confronted with this age-old decision, this man chose violence. I cannot and would not in good faith recommend this company for any future automotive services, and I believe they should pack up and cease business operations immediately. Thank you West End Towing for ruining my day, and quite possibly my trust in society as a whole.

Horrible establishment. Charged me for scratching their tow when THEY loaded my car onto their tow aka ( they scratched my car). Money hungry people in there taking advantage of college students. Ended up paying $325 for my car to be in their yard for only 30 minutes.

The lady that picked up the phone had a major attitude problem and needs to change how she talks to customers would not recommend this place

Lady on the other end of the line was extremely rude and had major attitude and refused to help us because our landlord wasn’t present and we just called him to confirm we can tow people without a pass. if your building says to call this number to tow cars don’t they don’t do anything for you or your apartment

Car got towed without notice or a sign, I had to call every towing company in the area until someone told me about this company. Overpriced for my car only having been towed for 10 hours. Picked up my car and they had me sign a release before I got to view my car, it had gotten scratched severely but because I was not allowed to view my car until the release was signed, they would not compensate for the damages. Extremely rude over the phone as well as in person and one of the worst experiences you can have with a company. Terrible.

My car was towed without notice, and this company falsely advertises being open 24/7 on Google. In reality, if your car is towed on the weekend, they tell you they’re closed and refuse to release your vehicle until the following weekday. There’s no reason to claim “24/7 service” if you can’t pick up your car even an hour after it’s been towed in the middle of the afternoon. On top of that, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude. If they answer their phones at all hours under the claim of being a 24/7 business, then vehicles should also be retrievable at those hours. Instead, they charge an additional $75 per day simply because they choose to remain “closed” on weekends.

Most towing companies get a bad rap, Let’s face it nobody enjoys their car getting towed so nobody wants to sit there and give a five star rating to a company who just took their car because they got into an accident or they got The car impounded but this company right here is the absolute worst. The lady in the office is completely rude. I completely can see why this company has a one star rating. I recommend staying far away from From this company

I had a great experience with West End Towing! I had to move a Porsche from a parking lot to get serviced and they were great. They arrived on time and worked thru a couple of issues to insure the job was completed. Very very satisfied with this company and I highly recommend them!!!

They keep getting rid of my review SO IM JUST GOING TO KEEP COMING BECAUSE I STRONGLY DISLIKE THIS PLACE. I swear they are some of the rudest people I have met in my whole entire life. Called to complain because the driver started to get loud and aggressive with me in which they responded “it’s stressful working with people”. My answer to that is GO DO SOMETHING ELSE. Grown adults yelling at college students and other people who are in stressful situations to begin with. When I get the videos of how he was acting, you’d be flabbergasted at how a grown man can act that way to a 19 year old woman.

West End Towing tried to gouge me for $400 to tow my fire-damaged truck less than 3 miles away to my shop! The driver was told that we have a tow company coming and it was sitting a few car lengths behind the fire trucks that were on the scene. We asked if he could just move it off the road and the driver said that he was towing it and "the longer it takes me to get out of here, the more the price is gonna go up". Not only was the driver rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional, so was the woman that works in the office. She gave our tow truck company a hard time too, making the process to release the truck as difficult as possible. Which only yells "let's take advantage of the insurance company so we can charge them additional for storage fees". It's shameful, with what it going on in this world, that a company would take advantage of someone in a bad situation. It's shameful that no one is held accountable for their actions. Disgusting! Bottom line: this company is shady, rude, and out for a money grab. If I could leave could leave zero stars or less, I would. Avoid them at all costs. Bob Judge

Very rude and don’t like answering questions. Asked a question, got attitude, and got hung up on. I wish nothing, but the worst for this company

Absolutely terrible experience with this tow company. Was FORCED by West Chester Police to use them instead of my AAA tow after an accident and was charged $800 for a tow not even 2 miles from the accident site. Blonde lady in the office is extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment we walked in the door. Even after we paid her over $800!! They’re just looking to take you for as much money as possible. Avoid at all costs!!!!

The people in the office are very rude. They don’t seem like they even want to help you. They act as if answering questions isn’t apart of their job.

They took my $270.00 for a five minute tow (from Washington Square where I have a parking pass) with a smile on their face. Rhymes with books.

West End and the driver Hunter were fantastic. Quoted within the hour, took 23 minutes from making the phone call to picking up the car to tow. Exceptional service by the driver Hunter. Many thanks
